Terribly disappointed in the way we were treated on several occasions especially tonight when my child had been having severe anxiety going into the appointment. I tried calling multiple times but the phones were shut off for the day(interesting as my appointment was before closing hours). We ultimately arrived with a bigger meltdown about taking our shoes off and wearing a mask.(I'm not perfect and in my rush to try to get him there while battling his crying I forgot our own) I could have warned someone that we have had several issues with sensory related things and I knew these would be triggers but I didn't even get the chance.

The doctor heard the commotion and immediately came down the hall to tell us she wouldn't see us. We needed to come back. Where is the Compassion? Part of my concerns tonight were about his anxiety and hoping to get some strategies. I know my son and a mask wouldn't have made a difference and certainly leaving didn't help. He needed someone to talk him through what to expect and give him a chance to feel his emotions.

The doctor didn't even try to deescalate the situation just simply told me to come back. I'm not sure why we couldn't have just left his shoes on for a weight check to ease that tension. I understand the mask but did we really have to set him off when he was battling so many things making him anxious? Here's to hoping I find someone who understand my son a little better.

I can't say anything good about this practice. My son is 2 months old and has had a rash all over his body for the last week. Dr. Steve said it was just dry skin and to put on lotion + vaseline and moisturize throughout the day (my gut is telling me that the vaseline caused him to sweat more and thus trap in the sweat making the rash worse). Dr. P said it seems like it could be something more, potentially an allergic reaction to his formula when I took him back a few days later but to wait another week and see if it clears up and continue with the lotion + vaseline.

He projectile vomited the next day (a Saturday) so I called the dr. on call and they said it could be a virus but to wait a few more days and see what happens. I explained to her that this is the first time my son has ever vomited so the fact that he has had a rash for almost a week in conjunction with the projectile vomit is really concerning - she made me feel like I was over reacting and said "I know it can be scary when they vomit like that but it is normal." After I just told her that it is absolutely not normal for him.

The rash contines to get worse and I'm not comfortable going there any more considering no one can tell me what's going on and they are minimizing my concerns. When I did bring him in for the rash with Dr. Steve I waited 2 hours to be seen. They took us back to a room right away (because their waiting room is so small that you wind up squeezed in there with sick kids coughing all over your newborn) and left us sitting there for 2 hours with no updates on when we would be seen and no apology for the wait.

After I had him there for his 2 month well visit with Dr. P (and she checked the rash and told me something different than Dr. Steve) I attempted to make his next well visit appointment when checking out and the receptionist literally turned her back on me and ignored me to finish her conversation with the other receptionist. I stood there for about 5 minutes being ignored so I walked out.

I called them this morning to tell them I need my son's medical records transferred to a new pediatrician and they want to charge me $10 to transfer them. which is ridiculous considering my son has only been there about 5 times, 2 of which were well visits. My son has also been suffering from constipation and we have been told 3 different ways to handle that (one said 2 tbsp of dark karo syrup for every 2oz bottle, one said 1 tsp of light karo syrup per day and one said keep giving him suppositories and don't bother with the karo syrup).

I don't know who to listen to nor do I trust any of their advice. But I should be expected to pay them more money to transfer my son's records? I wouldn't recommend this pediatrician office to anyone, they are absolutely awful.

Where do I even begin with this place?! Came to this practice after my 3rd baby was born in January. Started coming in often shortly after as she presented with a cold. "Run the cool mist humidifier etc". Ok. This goes on for a while. 2 month checkup. They have no vaccines. I heard the the entire runaround.everything from "our refrigerator wasnt approved.

We ran out. Insurance this insurance that." However, I walk by an office and see working refrigeration systems with bottles. I go into the room, red containers of used syringes. I look inside, they are labeled MMR, DTAP, Inluenza etc.oh okay so you DO have vaccines. I consult with my uncle who has been a surgeon since the 60s and he says they are mostly likely at war with Medicaid (I'm a hairdresser with no employer benefits) over what they feel they should be paid per vaccination.

Now that makes sense. So my baby continues on this "cold" as they keep calling it. She ends up in the ER the day after yet another visit.another visit where eyes are being rolled at me, and I am being treated like an idiot wasting their time. She has CROUP. I take her to follow up. They say nothing was necessary to give her since it's not that serious.

I said oh well they gave her a chest xray, a steroid and epinephrine in a neb treatment because she couldn't breathe. Doc looked pretty much shrugged it off and walked out. The nurse told me to HAVE HER SLEEP IN HER CAR SEAT! The "cold" continues. Shes almost 4 months old. Still, no vaccinations given. She's getting sicker, sicker and sicker. I call on call and it spoken to with such disregard.

By now I'm terrified and in tears. I ended the call with WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?! Her daycare calls me. Shes in a bad shape. I pick her up and take her to the ER. The Dr walks in, I look at him in despair and with tears I say, please help us. She has a fever. She gets a flu swab. Negative. Told to follow up with dr. By now I'm feeling helpless.

My baby is crumbling day by day and nobody will help her! Follow up next day at PMA. This time I show a video of her minutes long coughing fits, retracted breathing and bobbing head. I also.told them she had a respiratory rate of 120 breaths per minute. I got the old eye roll again and this time was told if I take her back to the ER, we will be kicked out of the practice. EXACT WORDS.

No tests done nor ordered. Nothing examined. Just told it's a cold. I told her in my soul I know something is wrong. That night her condition reached capacity. I called on call, their threat of kicking my daughter out of the practice running through my head. Dr. P calls. Shes showed concern and was thrown back when I told her how I was threatened not to go to ER again.

She gave me the option to go to ER or come to see her the next day. An hour later, we took the baby to ER. She stopped breathing in the waiting room. All of my frustration came out as the medical team rushed past me to get her hooked to oxygen. The last thing I saw as the family advocate pulled me out sobbing was the bottoms of her purple feet. That night, she was transported via ambulance, connected to a ventilator with a team of respiratory therapists to CHOP.

It took an hour there in the NICU to stabilize her. We were there 2 weeks. She was on high flow oxygen, CPap and feeding tube. She left, still sick but controlled. She had Paraflu 3. Pneumonia. Something a simple test would have seen. We came home and I was told by my uncle to hire lawyer, which i have begun the process of. I took her to her follow up and took my childrens medical records with me as I left.

I cannot believe the absolute NIGHTMARE these people allowed my daughter and I to go thru. I felt as if I were standing in the middle of a room, with a blue baby in my arms, screaming and nobody heard me. My daughter is finally getting better, and I have put her in a practice that absolutely cant believe any of this and has already shown my children more compassion and respect than PMA. I am traumatized from this ordeal. I suggest you avoid this practice.

One of the best experiences I have had going to a Dr office. The staff is TOP Quality friendly and nice. The Dr. Is the best takes the time to answer your questions and eduacate you on whatbis going on with your feet. Great experience I highly recommend this foot Dr
