We highly recommend Pediatric Therapy Associates. We have worked with Ms. Gabby for OT, and Ms. Olivia and Ms. Jessica for speech therapy. All three therapists are very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found this practice.

Diane, Dylan, and Elizabeth are outstanding members of the PTA team! They are truly patient-centered, passionate about their careers, and have been instrumental to my son's progress. I have the utmost respect for each of them, and I am so grateful to have them on our care team. We are beyond pleased with our therapy, and I would give 1000 stars if I could!

My daughter has been seeing Jessica for speech since she was 21 months old. She is so great with her and has a passion for helping people. We have seen a huge improvement in my daughter's confidence since starting speech therapy at Pediatric Therapy Associates.

We have been associated with Pediatric Therapy Associates, Raleigh since our daughter was less than a year old. We started with Sheryl Jewett as our OT through CDSA. She is amazing. She is the best OT we ever worked with. When we were looking for a new SLP, Sheryl recommended Diane Winner to us. My daughter I think was 2.5 years old when we went to Diane.

She was non-verbal, communicated only with sign language. Within six months with Diane, my daughter started talking. Diane has been fabulous. I cannot speak enough of her. My daughter is doing fantastic under her. Diane has a clear strategy. Inspite of seeing so many patients, she still keeps track of the child's progress. That's why her sessions never feel repetitive.

It's either the next step if the child is ready or a reinforcement if the child is not there yet. Diane also listens carefully to what I say as a parent. Her feedbacks are valuable. We absolutely love her.

Our time with Pediatric Therapy Associates has been amazing. Speech Therapy with Ms. Diane and Occupational Therapy with Ms. Gabby has led to exponential improvement in our child's ability to communicate and self-regulate. As a special education teacher, I am beyond pleased with the level of expertise and care demonstrated by the PTA staff.

Megan Watson is the prefect speech therapist for my 6yo son. She is so interested in him as an individual and in figuring out what works and doesn't work for him. She really pays attention and knows when to push him/when not to. Megan also provides great feedback for us re things to try at home. She is amazing! We adore her.

Would not recommend this place ever! We brought my 13 month old here because the reviews were great & he was experiencing problems with thicker textured food. He would cry in the highchair, gag, throw up, & wouldn't let us feed him unless it was a puree or similar texture. During the evaluation he basically screamed the whole time because they insisted on getting him into this crazy looking high chair.

I'm an adult & it was scary to me! They had very old playskool toys & the overall vibe there is just old & outdated. He was pretty distressed & they just kind of rolled through. I asked to put him in my lap & feed him things myself so they could see (so he could be more comfortable), but they didn't want to do that. I sensed a lack of real empathy or caring.

He was diagnosed with food sensory issues & trouble swallowing. After a few more terrible appointments they told me that they would basically be spending the time trying to get him relaxed enough to go into their huge electric chair looking highchair with straps & to "build rapport" with him. Not happening in 30 mins every 1-2 weeks. He screamed & cried the entire time basically & I just couldn't put him through it anymore especially since he was not himself after the appts & refused to eat afterward.

It was a huge waste of money. I sought a 2nd opinion at Holly Springs Feeding & Speech and they immediately figured out that his tongue tie (we were aware he had one but had been told that as long as he took a bottle he was fine) was causing the problems with feeding because he couldn't move his tongue to the roof of his mouth to swallow & couldn't sweep food around his mouth adequately since his tongue was basically stuck in place.

He was way more comfortable at HSFAS & didn't scream or anything with the techniques she used. We were given different spoons, suggestions, & other homework to help him increase tongue mobility. We were allowed to keep him in our laps if he seemed more comfortable there. We just made way more progress! Ultimately we had his tongue tie corrected, but PTA didn't even catch on to that, or mention his lip tie either! He doesn't even have sensory issues! They completely stressed me out for no reason, so I would never recommend taking your kids here.
