Went in to see Dr. Portnoff for an opinion on a plethora of conditions that had been ailing me for over a year, that easily could have been diagnosed, but instead was left with the impression that I was being discriminated against simply for being on oxycodone for chronic pain. With absolutely no evidence whatsoever, she proudly proclaimed that I must have fibromyalgia (which has no known effective treatment and I have no direct symptoms of) and not Psoriatic Arthritis (which I have mounds of evidence for, and can actually be treated).

She didn't even bother to look up my history or get photos from my dermatologist or basically go through anything other than some sort of chiropractic motions to my body which were wholly unwarranted and unneeded. If you think you can diagnose a person with a glance of an eyeball, please see her, otherwise avoid at all costs. The staff were otherwise friendly but I left feeling like I wasted an hour of my life I'll never get back.

We've been patients with The Portland Clinic for years, but I have found their services are going downhill. Yesterday I brought my son to urgent care. We were seen by a triage nurse in the lobby and since they do not have a CT scan she referred us to Super ZoomCare in Lake Oswego. I asked her if we needed a referral and she said no they "send a lot of patients over there".

We had paid our copay, never saw a doctor or left the lobby, and I shudder to think what they charged our insurance for this visit. We then head to ZoomCare in LO and it's like night and day. New, well-lit, bright, clean, and modern. Charged a second copay (which is fine), but I will now always bypass The Portland Clinic and head straight to ZoomCare. TPC is making themselves obsolete imho.

I have two Drs, and I adore them both! Dr Crouse and Dr Jody. Now, with my Dr Jody, she is extremely incredible! She is highly knowledgeable, very professional, but most of all, she has a beautiful soul. My situation is very complicated, to the point, I really couldn't take care of myself. She was always there for me, when I needed help. I wish you all knew how much I needed her.

I strongly believe in God, and he put Dr Jody in my path. I'm actually crying right now. She was so dedicated to my illness, that every time I reached out, she was right there for me. I was going thru a lot and at times, due to my situation, I couldn't return calls or messages! It was really hard, for me to keep track, of returning messages and phone calls.

My voicemail would get filled up quickly, and when I would check them, the first calls and messages that I would look for was from my Dr Jody she was always my number one to get medical attention She always discussed with me regarding my medication! If she saw a difference in my situation, she would automatically do her research and figure out what caused my situation to escalate and to why my medication needs constant attention too.

My medication interacts with other medication and why it's really important to not consume other medication, and how also food can interact with my medication. I verbally signed a contract with my psychiatrist that I adore also, for me to take my meds constantly, and I happily agreed Both my DR and my psychiatrist meet regularly in order me to get healthy.

In addition, their other staff, Michelle, Ashley and Danielle have always assisted me, there were times, that they would assist me regarding my panic attacks. the past few days I was able to sleep. There are my rocks, especially My Dr Jody that highly recommend! When, they say their care team, they actually go above and beyond to assist!

Excellent provider. Dr, Dudrey at the downtown clinic is a fantastic primary care physician. I've been a patient of his for multiple years and have a very positive and informative visit each time. I have a lot confidence with The Portland Clinic and the multitude of medical services they provide. Very little wait time and easy to get an appointment.

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Scheduling is helpful, doctors follow up, and the response time for anything sent via my charts is really quick. As with any medical practice in the US, you'll need to ask them and your insurance about billing concerns in advance if you want to avoid surprises. As a nice bonus, they have an on-site lab.

I saw Dr Brasseur, a neurologist at the downtown Portland Clinic. He was fully informed about all the tests that had been done, and listened and responded to the comments I made. He noted that a currently-prescribed medication was unnecessary, and told me to discontinue it. The only negative about the appointment was that 2 ordered blood tests couldn't be done on-site because of lack of lab capacity and the soonest appointment available at my nearest Portland Clinic location was over a month away

Dr Katrina Hoan is one of the best OBGYNs I have been to. She is professional, knowledgeable and kind. It's hard to find a doctor I feel so good about. I am glad I found her! Highly recommend!

I have really liked using the Portland clinic over the past few years. They have been quick to set up labs and schedule appointments internally. Prescriptions and refill requests have gone through quickly and the staff was friendly. They offer a wide variety of services so they can do a lot of referrals in house which makes the process simple.

Was here in Urgent Care for almost 3 hours today. No one ever even saw me. I had an "episode" that left my arms and shoulders burning and weak. But apparently, my condition was not considered urgent as I was told others were considered more in need. only ever saw a couple other patients here at all. But almost 3 hours?! No one ever came in and even checked on me.

I finally left without ever seeing a physician. It's a good thing I wasn't in need of immediate care. Still don't know what happened to me, but this facility didn't even care.

Today I was seen on time for my blood draw but as always, I left with multiple "jab" wounds. The tech was nice but she definitely wasn't skilled in phlebotomy. She said "oops that needle just pushed itself right out!" For the first hand she tried to draw from. Then she got it in the second hand but it was painful and burning the entire time. I'm extremely upset because this is the LAB. They're very specific job is to do blood draws so they should be well equipped to do so without causing pain to patients.

This is why I only go to independent labs for blood work. Because it's never been painful and they get it in the first time, every time. I'm not going back to Portland clinic and the incompetent technicians. They should hire quality techs who can be efficient, fast, professional and not cause pain.

Every employee (from the greeter at the entrance to doctors) with whom I've interacted has been warm, informed, and helpful. One exception, come to think of it. Last year, my regular physical therapist was not working (because of COVID, and the woman who "treated" made my severe pain, from my herniated disc that had enflamed the nerve, unbearable.

Set me back for a week. Nightmarish. But I continue to go to the Portland Clinic. But would not go for physical therapy, should the need arise, if he--my regular PT-- was no longer working there.

I'm in network, and this is a Total rip off. Don't buy a thing from these people. They sell braces available for $25 on Amazon for $250 dollars. Just more dishonest grifting. Awful experience, waste of money, two minutes of the doctors time, ripped off for a brace. No follow up from them at all, they don't care if your treatment even works. Avoid at all costs.

I was banned for life from the Portland Clinic due to a doctor who sent records from another clinic. I wasn't even allowed to defend myself, I was stigmatized and judged by a doctor who practiced was closed and then slandered by this doctor (Benjamin Schwartz). The last time I saw Dr? Benjamin Schwartz was in 2011 when he yelled at me with the office room door open so the entire office and clinic could here.

I was there seeking to start a worker's compensation claim due to abuse from my employer. Then I found myself verbally abused by a supposedly a medical doctor. Now I am abused again by a medical clinic. I was also told that I couldn't even go to the Portland Clinic urgent care, which is illegal. Even though this happened a few years ago, I am still traumatized by the experience to the point I am afraid to go to or even trust doctors for the fear of being judged stigmatized due to mental health issues. I am a senior and was able to obtain SSDI early without an attorney for my experience. Hippocratic oath does it exist?

Great experience with the lab and doctors! Clean and well staffed location. Their surgical center is also a great place to have a procedure.

If I could put less stars i would! I have been seeing Dr. Sandmeier for months. He has belittled me and ignored my issues. Because this was a workmans comp case he made sure to make a diagnosis that would make me loose my case. The hospital saw the calcium deposit, but Dr. Sandmeier said that it can NOT be the cause. Instead it must be bursitis. So he gave me a cordazone shot, but that is not for bursitis, it can be cured by Vitamin C with Rosehips.

If you are looking for an orthopedist, I would look anywhere else. If Dr. Sandmeier is an example of the doctors at The Portland Clinic, then I will be taking my business to a different office, and so should you.

I have no complaints about the doctors and support staff. If you do not have health insurance you may look elsewhere for more cost effective health care. Their rates are extremely high compared to national averages. They also declined to offer me any discounts for out of pocket payments. But yet they do have negotiated rates with insurance companies. Why should those of us who find ourselves without insurance be gouged by paying higher rates? Shame on you Portland Clinic!

I've been going to Portland Clinic for over 20 years. My kids and my husband also go to the clinic. We received great service. We've seen many different types of doctors. They do X-rays, cardiovascular tests and procedures on sight. It's very convenient. Their urgent care is quick and convenient. I've been there for a variety of ailments. Most recently, I needed stitches and an X-ray for a smashed finger. They took care of me quickly. L

I prefer the doctors at the Portland clinic. They are friendly and professional. Dr Khine is a fast talker but I didn't feel he was rushing through anything and he happily answered a tangentially related question I had.

If you prefer to be treated like cattle, than this is the place for you. Truly surprised they take time to ask you your name. Birth date is the big identifier here- surprised they don't brand patients like poor cattle with their member ID number instead. The "care process" is very rushed and is very evident from the moment you are checked in, examined and checked out. It's frowned upon (literally) to ask questions about your physical exam/exam results.

Attitude is wrong wrong wrong if you want any semblance of a typical doctor patient relationship. I don't think the two doctors I visited even had a smile for me. Overworked, prolly. I'm in very good health, my two appts were routine. I really shudder to think about folks that have real physical diseases feel after being treated at the portland clinic. I could go into my personal story but will save you the time- just avoid this clinic.like the plague.

Best place ever-except for the lab staff. I have been a patient of The Portland Clinic for well over 18 years. Love the doctors and the convenience of the locations. But this morning-I go to the lab in Tigard for some blood work for a doctor appt at the Beaverton location later in the week. I go at lunch and get checked right in. Then a few min later, I am called up and told the lab tech is taking a break after the next person so I have to come back in 40 min or come back another time. UH, should they not take care of the patients that are waiting, THEN take a break.

I left thinking I would come back after work or just go to the Beaverton lab after my appointment. After doing some grocery shopping nearby. I decide to go back and see if I would be the first person the tech sees at 12:45. If not, then I would go back to work. I go in and am told I would be the first person she would see when she returns from break.

So I sit and sit and sit. 15 min go by and no sign of this tech. The receptionist tells me she is checking out my chart and will be calling me in momentarily. Then I sit and watch as FIVE other people are called in--all ahead of me. The receptionist tells me I am the next one. yeah right. The tech comes out and calls yet another person that is not me.

I was fed up and start leaving as the tech looks at me and asks my name and says I am the next one in line-which I am thinking is not true. There were still 4 more people sitting around and they probably were not for urgent care. By now it was the principal of the thing--they lied to me and wasted so much of my time. They wasted my entire lunch hour plus another 20 min.

Be honest and just say--there are a good 10 people ahead of you when they return from break. I will never go to the Tigard lab ever again. I will only go to the Beaverton one.

My two year old was denied being seen for a possible ear infection because "they didn't have the staff to see a two year old" GASP! Are you kidding me?! How many possible medical denial laws are violated?! It's urgent care! The entire premise of urgent care is to help the overflow of doctors offices for common illnesses such as ear infections! He isn't a new born! He's 2.5 years! I am appalled and sickened.

I doctor shop. I have two specialists at the Portland Clinic. One of the specialists I see (Dr Madden - neurology) is at the PC South location and the other is Dr. Choi (GI doctor at the Tigard location). I LOVE these two doctors so much. They both never make you feel rushed. They always really want to help and listen. I would highly recommend either.

I have had such a great experience at PC, which I have to say was not my experience at Providence! It could just be that these two doctors are stand outs, but I do think they have some probably just have great docs.

I had an injury that I went to the Urgent Care for, service was great. This is for the Orthopedic doctor I was sent to that didn't want to take the time and do an MRI to find out what was going on. I was in a lot of pain after falling down a flight of stairs. He looked at the x-ray and said yep nothings broken, maybe a tear in the meniscus but don't know for sure. Let's do physical therapy as that should help.

I received a second opinion and an MRI that showed I not only had a tear but had completely torn my meniscus and need surgery to remove part as it's being pinched between the bones. Dr. Sandmeier didn't want or chose not to do the right thing and get the necessary MRI to find the problem. Very disappointed in the care I received from this doctor. Be warned that they are to busy to properly take care of their patients.

This place is HORRIBLE. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I have great insurance coverage, I was referred here from Providence St. Vincent after an ER visit. The doctors and specialists I met with, and the blood work I had done, were all considered in-network charges. One of the specialists suggested I have a CT done, in that very same facility. I say ok, have it scheduled for a few days out.

When I arrive for my CT, I specifically ask for a statement of estimated charges, they tell me my insurance is in-network, so it will just be the copay. I pay, I have the CT done, I figure that's it. Six months later I receive a bill from "Virtual Radiologic Professionals" from a radiologist based in South Carolina. I guess this facility does not have any radiologists on-site, and uses this bizarre virtual company to send scans to for analysis.

This virtual company is definitely not in-network. They made NO mention of this before my procedure, after I expressly asked them for an estimate charges. They basically hid this fee, or any mention of planning to use an out-of-network radiologist, from me so that I'd use their services and they could take my money. This out of network expense will ultimately cost me $275 out of pocket, which I now am working on to fight.

This is unfair, and honestly, fraudulent. Starting March 1, 2018 in Oregon, billing practices like this are prohibited by medical facilities. I had my services December 2017, but I am definitely fighting this bill. Do not go here, these people are fraudsters.

The two stars are for the wonderful lobby staff and X-Ray tech that were so nice to me. Unfortunately, when I saw Dr. Brett Rath the experience was not pleasant. I got the distinct impression that I was being labeled as a drug seeker. He asked me some hurried questions, and seemed to not believe me about the cause of my injury. He handled my ankle roughly, causing me sharp pain.

When the X-Ray came back clean he said he thought I just had a "very low tolerance for pain." What I had, in fact, was a badly twisted ankle that warranted a visit to urgent care. Dr. Rath wasn't openly mean but his bedside manners left much to be desired. I can't be sure he was suspecting me of looking for drugs but the only other explanation that comes to mind is that he's just an uncaring doctor, which I'd rather not believe. I'm new to town and have yet to choose a primary care facility; unfortunately it won't be this one.

It's 5 pm and not many people in sight. Clinic service was so-so as I stood and waited for ten minutes (with just same people in front) as they talked about non-medical topic. My left foot was in pain so my patience was rather thin. Another receptionist finally calls me in and gets all information typed. But insurance segment doesn't show on the paper and seemed incomplete - but assured it's on the data.

Then I wait 20 minutes despite being next with no other patients ahead of me. Then I am walked into a room and two confused clinicians walk in, mistaking the room/patient. That makes me even more uneasy. It's 5:45 pm and I finally see a doctor but can't tell me what's wrong with my feet. Has x-rays done and was allowed to see my feet, which was nice.

That was the most efficient part of my visit. Now it's 6:30 pm. I'm hoping to get called out soon as I can't expect any diagnosis till next week from what I was told before I can set up to see orthopedic. Maybe it would be healed by then.
