I'm currently treated and have been treated for over a year at PRA. Their level of patience and listening is spot on, especially for a patient with many needs. AJ, whom wears many hats has not only been a pleasure to work with but, she has made a lot of things simpler for me, again, her level of knowledge, listening and patience is a great help and let's me focus on my treatment(s).

PRA was the best thing that could have happened to me after my brain injury. The therapy was rigorous, but the staff was always there for support and encouragement. It is easy to become both complacent and depressed after such a thing, but the overall experience was so positve. My first recommendation is to avoid a brain injury. :^ but if such a thing occurs, I highly recommend Progressive Rehabilitation Associated.

When i first started at rehab i had no faith that i would find any help to be able to help with the pain. just any movement was hard to cope with. i needed help to change my thoughts of how i was dealing with the pain and with i thought about me being worth anything. now i may not be out of pain but with some one that will listen to you and help walk beside you to help show you a better way. so with what i have learned i will be able to move forward and help others along the way. So, to all that have had a part in helping me, thank you with all my heart John W Galusha

I switched insurance (which has taken a *lot* of time and caused a lack of care for months) *specifically* to get a referral for PRA. Today I was told by a PRA care coordinator that they'd had a referral from my old insurance since December 9th! When I had talked with three people in PRA's care coordination after Dec 9th and while I was still on my old insurance, none of them told me I had already been referred! and they had received the referral! and all I needed to do was have my PCP send chart notes!

They had told me about paying cash, and which other insurance providers could provide referrals and for what. But they didn't think to tell me I already had a referral until I called today to ask about the new referral from my new insurance. I guess they'll post the same response as to all the other negative reviews below?

This place is a scam. I was there for over a month and they did nothing for me, told me I was unemployable and then back stabbed me and told L&I that I was. Traveled all the way from Vancouver to just lay down and ice up and that my injuries from a 3Ton beam was all in my mind and that I could control my pain. Full of scammers soaking up insurance claims and doing nothing to earn it. This place should be shut down and you fakes should be made to pay back all your wages that people who suffer real pain deserve.

I was lucky to be referred to PRA a few years ago after 3 failed back surgeries. The staff there is so compassionate and helpful, definitely among the best I've experienced. More importantly the alternative kinds of physical therapy they trained me in have been immeasurably helpful since I went through their program. I use things they taught me every day.

They gave me tools to manage my pain and stay very active, which is great since my pain isn't likely to ever go away. Prior to going there I was in constant pain and starting to get depressed about the surgeries having failed. Now, I'm happier and healthier and manage my pain far more effectively. Admittedly I was skeptical at first, but am a true believer now that I have the training they offer.

It is way different from many other physical therapy clinics I'd been to in the past. Plus the things I saw them do for other very critical patients while there, were nothing short of miraculous! I'd highly recommend PRA for anyone who is dealing with chronic pain in life and wants to reduce their dependence on medications and live a more active life.

I was lucky enough to photograph for PRA for their marketing and website material. As a photographer it is my passion to find truth and capture it. I see everything that happens behind my lens. And the genuine love and tenderness that EVERY employee had for their patients was powerful to see. No one works there, they are called to those positions. I would recommend PRA to anyone in need of rehabilitation.

Having worked in insurance for over 30 yrs. I have NEVER seen such incompetence in trying to get insurance approval to even get a consultation appointment. My insurance doesn't even require approval. If something is out of network, it should be my choice to accept or reject. Waiting 3 weeks and they say it could be a month. Definitely need education for customer service.

No apology, no phone call for status, no specific information as to how long I have to wait (or how many are in front of me in the line). What line? Do you only handle one person at a time? Their lack of staffing has become my problem. Completely unacceptable, especially when you're in horrific pain. I now have no confidence that the rest of the facility has competency. I feel forced to go elsewhere.

I wasn't expecting miracles from PRA and admittedly I didn't experience any, however, what I did experience was very, very helpful on my road to recovery. My brain injury improved noticeably while attending their Brain Injury Rehab Center, but maybe more importantly, I gained tools to continue my recovery once I left. It's now been 14 months since I graduated from the program and I can confidently say that I am SO GLAD I went. I still deal with a couple of my sequela, but I'd say I'm 80% recovered (injury took place July 2015), and I'd attribute a good portion of my recovery to PRA.
