Freedom from glasses and contacts is no longer a dream. Quality Eye Care has been providing laser vision correction since 1997, and Dr. Yu was performing this procedure even before he started Quality Eye Care. His belief in the life-changing procedure is so strong, he had it himself over a decade ago. Below are 7 reasons why we think Quality Eye Care is the best place for you to have LASIK or refractive surgery, and Dr. Yu, the surgeon for you. He has been honored as a Top Doc in Hour magazine. He has over 20 years experience in refractive surgery, 14 years in Lasik alone.

Custom LASIK differs from conventional LASIK in that the measurements of your eyes that are used for laser vision correction are made more accurately and precisely. With conventional laser vision correction procedures, the standard measurements for glasses are used by the laser to correct your nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
Corneal inlays aim to help patients who are having trouble with their near vision by virtue of the age-related loss of accommodation (accommodation is the process by which your eyes automatically increase focusing power for near work). As one gets into the 40s and beyond, the ability to read diminishes, and reading glasses or bifocals are required to read and see in the intermediate range (arm's length).

Dr. Hu was an extremely professional, and compassionate person that I was more than happy to deal with. I have been working with Dr. Hu for my eyesight for some time now, but i can comfortably say without a doubt that the operation that was performed on me changed my life. I feel comfortable reading to my grandchildren now just for the fact that I don't have to stare the wording down for several minutes. Working with Dr. Hu was a bit of a lengthy process, but if I had to wait 10x longer for the same results I would take it in a heartbeat.

Such a great visit. I called the day of to report a disturbance in my field of vision and I was able to be seen within an hour of calling. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to figure out what was going on with my insurance and helped me be seen. Not only were they helpful but the kindness they showed me truly was heartfelt. The technician who took me back and dilated my eyes, Kathy, was so easy to talk to and very informative. Dr. Yu was just as sweet and answered every question I had.

I'm able to be at ease because of you all. Usually I'm not one to post reviews but it blew me away to see the previous, negative reviews on this office, I still cannot believe them. You won't regret coming here, you're in the absolute best care at Quality Eye Care. God bless!

I have been seeing Dr Yu for many years. He has always been upfront, compassionate, informative and reassuring. His staff has always helped me pick just the right glasses for my face and personality. Even though I have moved hours away, I continue to go back to him. Thank you.

I called to make an appointment as new patient, thinking that maybe the reviews might have been wrong. I gave them my info. And said they would call back by the end of the day but never did. Very disappointed!

Wow. this is a cattle call. I literally had to wait 2 hours to see the doctor. After checking in with receptionist, you are given a clipboard with forms to fill out. You have to wait to be called up to talk to a receptionist. Afterwards, I waited one hour to see a technician who does a cursory exam. Then they take you to another waiting room to wait for a room to free up so that you can wait again for the doctor. I will never go here again and certainly not recommend this place to anyone.

Our appointment was at 1:10 we arrived at 12:45. Watched everyone else who arrived after us going in before us and Doctor finally got to us at 2:47pm. My mom is 85 yrs old. This wait is ridiculous. We definitely will not be returning even though she has been coming here for almost 10 years. This hasn't been the first time we have waited well over an hour to be seen. Why schedule an appointment or why arrive early if we continue waiting this ridiculously long. She came for a simple eye exam. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

This doctor seemed okay but the wait time was beyond belief with no reason or apology. Staff were beyond rude. After I had waited 45 minutes I asked what was going on and I wasn't given an answer. Since I had left my cell in my vehicle, so as not to be disturbed while in the office, I asked to use their phone or to have them call my house to explain why I was so late. THEY REFUSED and told me I would have to go to my car and get my phone and then told me that if I was out when they called me I would go to the bottom of the list of patients being called back. REALLY. Interesting to note that this doctor thanks the "good" reviews but doesn't address the "bad" reviews.

This doctor's office refuses to see patients without a Social Security Number (SSN). The person working there was rude about it. Under no circumstances should you agree to this with any doctor. It's 2015. Do not be fooled. HIPPA will not protect you from poorly written medical software (which is the vast majority of medical software), and it certainly will no protect you from all the people who are authorized to view it at a doctor's office (probably anyone who uses the computers). Don't just take my word for it: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2015/02/why-you-shouldn-t-giver-your-doctor-or-hospital-your-social-security-number/index.htm http://lifehacker.com/skip-giving-your-social-security-number-to-the-doctor-1688274701 http://www.forbes.com/sites/kellyphillipserb/2013/10/21/losing-your-identity-in-five-easy-steps-step-one-go-to-the-doctor/

I tried to set up an appointment to get my eyes checked as a new patient. The only day they offered was Wednesdays and had to be before 2:30pm. They may be a really good service, but their availability is really poor.

My place for eye care. The doctor is a top doc for sure. When you leave there your eyes are totally examined.

I've seen Dr. Yu one time and i was blown away by his staff and him. I've never had a Dr. take as much time with me and explain everything so well. I have another appointment tomorrow with him and I'm actually looking forward to it.

This was one of the best recommendations I've gotten. Someone at work recommended me to Dr. Vincent Yu for a routine eye exam and he exceeded all my expections. Dr Yu is personable, caring, and EXTREMELY thorough! He quickly found a rare eye condition my friend had, which other doctors had misdiagnosed for years! I will never go back to America's Best or a department store optical center again.
