If it wasn't for Dr. Boutros I don't think I would ever get my diagnosis. I had been to 7 other neurologist in New Port Beach. They all gave up on me. I will be forever grateful. Thank you!

If I could rate this no stars I would. The only good thing about this place is how nice the receptionist was. The doctor has such bad bedside manners and left the door open during the whole procedure. Doesn't seem to care about the patients at all and does haphazard work. When I mentioned my hesitancy with the procedure he didn't explain it at all and basically asked me if I wanted to not do the procedure. Avoid if you can.

DO NOT GO HERE! The most inept doctors office I have ever been at. My appointment was at 11, at 11:45 I asked how long and was told I was next. At 11:56 I was taken to the room and was told that the doctor would be in soon. I asked how soon and was not given a time at which point I told her I would give him 5 minutes then I was leaving. I was so frustrated by the lack of respect that I walked right out and called my doctor for a different referral.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT SCHEDULE ONLINE! I got an appointment confirmation with instructions to arrive 1/2 hour early, my husband took the day off to drive me, we drove the 25 miles and it turned out they had no record of the appointment. They also can't seem to answer the phone for at least 15 minutes. How completely unprofessional!

If you can avoid this place, please do. I had a 6 month follow up appointment and they gave me the wrong day, so I didn't make it to the appt, no call or anything, they just marked me as noncompliant. Even after I called and explained why he is still refusing to treat me even though the appt was just to tell me I can stop taking meds.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star if it was an option. This office is terrible. I agree with the other reviews, the customer service or lack there of I should say. I e been dealing with crippling complex migraines with auras that leave me down for sometimes 2 days. After finally getting my referral approved it took over 3bmonths toneven try and book an appointment with them due to not returning phone calls or busy lines.

Finally I go into the office since they wouldn't return phone calls I was met with cold heartless very rude woman. Saying I needed to get all this paperwork even though it had already been sent over to them?. Again after more weeks of them not returning my phone calls I call again, they yelled at me and said to find a different doctor and I was crying simply asking for my MRI results.

They coldly answered the doctor doesn't want to talk to you and then hung up on me. The office staff and doctor are horrible people, wish I could see them in person and tell them that. They are rude and uncaring. Honestly this office should be closed.

The Doctor is great. Listens to you and explains what he's doing. He seems like he actually cares. The receptionists on the other hand leave ALOT to be desired. I called every day multiple times and left messages for 10 days and never talked to anyone and never recieved a call back. Finally had to walk in to schedule an appointment.

I received a call today (Friday) that they need all of my medical records by my appointment this following (Monday). Why would they call to remind me when it would almost be impossible to attain them all over a weekend? I haven't even had my first appointment and I am extremely disappointed. The woman was rude and said directly, "If you do not have all your medical records by Monday then we need to reschedule your appointment." She said the clinic does not request on our behalf.

They would have all the records by the time of an appointment and save a person from possible hospitalization. This is a neurology clinic treating patients with memory problems, epilepsy, loss of consciousness etc. These are individuals that need prescriptions right away, especially new patients. New patients may have a seizure waiting for an appointment with this clinic, or no recollection of any appointment at all.

The woman on the phone wouldn't give you the option of talking with a Nurse Practitioner for just enough medication until you actually see the Neurologist. They may deal with the brain but they have no heart.

I have to agree with these reviews. I had a 1pm appointment and didn't leave the office till 3pm. The doctor spent a whopping 5mins with me for my initial appointment during all that time there, but I'm more than sure they will bill my insurance for much more time than the 5 mins they spent with me. The doctor isn't friendly and has a bad bedside manner. He doesn't seem to care about his patients and acts as if we're a bother to him. I'll be requesting a new doctor to see.

Staff are absolutely rude. especially the one that greats people at the reception. She down talks to people with a commanding voice. She argumentative and has a frown and no smile. She even ignores a person if she decides that she does not like them. Also they never answer the phone. You go to the general mail box. You leave your name and phone number and they never call you back.

I must have called on so many occasions and left my phone number but never received a call back. When I went to the office and complained that I never get a call back they say they never got the message. Dr. is totally the opposite. He is friendly and smiling all the time. He talks gently to people and treat them with respect. I brought this matter to his attention. I put up with the lousy staff service just because of the doctor.
