Prepare accordingly! I was told my son's appointment was at 12:10pm upon scheduling the appointment. Was told it was scheduled at 12:20pm instead. We waited in the lobby for 30 minutes. We left the office 1 hour 15 min after arriving! The glasses our insurance pays for are cheap! No matter how many times I take them in for adjusting, it doesn't help the discomfort. A great place for seniors. Not so much for families who have places to be.

I dropped my 70 year old father off for surgery in June. A woman from our town took the time to introduce herself and visit, which helped my dad relax. The woman at the desk was friendly also. Once he went back we were sent out to lunch and to wait for the pick up call. When we were waiting at the office to pick him up, the dr stopped to visit with my mom (who has been his patient for years) and let her know it went fine.

A nurse walked my dad to the car and went over the care instructions again, but this time with all of us. That was nice so we could monitor what he was supposed to do. The nurse pointed out the number to call with any questions and even buckled his seatbelt. My dad felt like he was treated great. I was impressed with the customer service. I'm glad my parents use this facility.

My husband was in this afternoon for a referred consultation. He had the MOST DISAPPOINTING AND DISHEARTENING experience in the past 10 years. And I am so ANGRY because I THOUGHT this clinic was the best around the area, little did I know, I was lying! My husband sat in room 9 for an hour and 20 minutes without a soul coming to check on him. He did go to the front desk twice and they explained he was the last patient. well, finally he left. never seen!

The only reason there is even a 1 star is the girls at the front made him laugh about their beer conversation. I would NEVER suggest being the "last patient of the day" at this clinic.unless you need a warm place to sleep the night away! UNBELIEVABLE!

Dr. Nyquist does a great job with eye exams and Steve Queenan in the optical department is very knowledgeable at recommending frames to complement your facial features and lifestyle.

We have been going to Regional Eye Center for years for our exams and have been happy. Our son has recently been diagnosed with a slight need for glasses and the doctor was very gracious to give us his prescription if we wanted to get glasses elsewhere (as he only needs to wear them infrequently). We did purchase glasses from an online provider and brought them to Regional Eye for adjustment.

We were willing to pay for the service, but not only were we not allowed to offer to pay, we were treated rudely and told that they will not adjust glasses they don't sell. I am very disappointed with their unwillingness to work with a long time customer and their treatment of us, but also their unwillingness to adjust to changes in the market place.

The only good part of this facility was the optometrist. I gave my insurance info prior to showing up and on appointment day. They still billed the wrong insurance. When we went to look at glasses I was shocked at the prices, unfortunately our insurance didn't cover glasses. When I asked for the cheapest option I got immedialty look down upon and blown off.

They refused to adjust the bows on my daughter's current glasses "we don't work on glasses not bought there". Then when i got a prescription for the glasses, they refused to give me all the information needed to order online. Stating "professional liability". I have never had a problem getting all the information from other facilities. I wanted to achieve a client patient relationship with a local eye doctor, I guess that won't happen. They are rude all around.

Only good experiences so far. Much better than another clinic in town which will remain unnamed.
