A dysplastic nevus is an atypical mole; a mole whose appearance is different from that of common moles. About one out of every ten people has at least one unusual (or atypical) mole that looks different from an ordinary mole. Doctors believe that dysplastic nevi are more likely than ordinary moles to develop into a type of skin cancer called melanoma.
Rosacea is a skin conditon that most often appears in the middle of your face - typically cheeks, nose, and chin - and makes your face look red or flushed. You may sometimes get bumps or pimples in the same area. The redness, flushing, and bumps often come and go. As many as 14 million Americans have rosacea.
Eczema is a group of conditions that causes skin to become red, irritated, itchy, and sometimes develop small, fluid-filled bumps that become moist and ooze. There are many forms of eczema, but atopic eczema is one of the most common. Doctors don't know exactly what causes atopic eczema, also called atopic dermatitis (pronounced: der-muh-tie-tis), but they think it could be a difference in the way a person's immune system reacts to things. Skin allergies may be involved in some forms of eczema. Eczema isn't contagious and most people with eczema have family members with the condition.
It is a chronic skin condition that usually is characterized by lesions or patches of raised red skin covered by flaky, silvery-white buildup called "scales" or "plaques." The red-wine or salmon-colored patches are often rough to touch. There are several different types of psoriasis. It is usually mild with a few scales, but it can be much more severe.

Forgive me for echoing what all the other reviews here already warn: The front desk is discourteous. I knew someone who came here, so I decided to try them out. I was warned about the front desk. When I called they were pretty rude - I considered not going with them, but I decided to go for it anyway. Came in for my appointment without a mask, didn't have one with me, and they told me to reschedule my appointment instead of just letting me use one of theirs from the box behind their desk. So I sit outside the office writing this review. The PAs who run this place are probably fine, but you have to get through the rude ladies who gatekeep the service.

Quick, easy, and painless in every way! I don't think I've ever had quite as simple and comfortable of an experience at any other visit to other doctor's offices of any type.

Horrible place. I was here and the dermatologist took a personal phone call when I was in a gown, all exposed. She didn't step out of the room. I felt humiliated and I wanted to leave the room, but I couldn't because I would have to change in front of her. I had some skin concerns and she told me she can't do anything about it and that I'd have to make another appointment.

Would not recommend this place. Constantly harassing you for payment every week even though you are making payments. When you do set up monthly payments, they take out your payment twice in one month. I have always paid my bills and I have never been so harassed. Equipment seemed old and got the impression this place is all about the money and not the patient.

I was referred to Fine Skin by my PCP for acne. I was able to see Dr. Bhatt's associate ASAP ( thanks for Sat hours). They explained everything about my skin that i didn't know could occur :P It has been 3 moths since i saw the NP, and my skin looks so much better. They didn't force me to buy any prodects or treatmetns. I ended up doing 2 peels with them on top of my medications. ps: they were up front about the prices of everything that was concider cosmetic.

Loved my experience at Fine Skin! Dr. Bhatt and PA Cassandra Basak are AMAZING! So kind and quality work. Cassandra performed laser hair removal and I am very happy with my results! Already made my next appointment.

Cannot say enough good things! The staff and Cassie the PA were so nice, organized and informative. Cassie performed Aerolase for my facial redness and I have seen a 30-40% improvement after just one treatment. It's been embarrassing for a long time so I could not be more thrilled that there's a chance it could resolve. I can't wait to see my final results after more treatments. Thank you again!

Been coming to Fine Skin for years. I would highly recommend physician assistant Cassandra Basak. She is thorough and provides excellent care. She performed laser treatment on my skin and I saw benefits the next day. Can't wait for my next treatment!

I have been seeing Dr. Bhatt for about 14 years and have been very pleased with her care. Melanoma runs in my family and she educated me on what I should watch for and the importance of regular checkups. Those checkups have resulted in the removal of some precancerous and cancerous spots. I highly recommend Dr. Bhatt.

I was at the office the other day with my mom and the front desk employees were EXTREMELY rude to my mother. I was trying to help reassure the laddies at the front desk of what my mom was trying to say because she has a thick accent. And the lady at the front desk called me "nasty". Her name was Colleen and refused to give me her last name. I have nothing bad to say about Dr Shannon, she us very sweet and helpful. But the front desk is EXTREMELY rude and I will not be returning because of that.
