Resurgens has a great facility with an excellent staff! Dr. Ross & his staff are fabulous! They have & continue to give excellent care to my husband during his time of need. We were so thankful that Dr. Ross was on call at the ER the day my husband had a serious car accident. From day one, he has received nothing but excellent care. So thankful & so grateful!

I have had hand and shoulder issues off and on for the last 4 years and have seen Dr. Mark McBride numerous times. He is always attentive, knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff is friendly, competent and helpful. The St. Joseph/Peachtree Dunwoody facility is exceptional and they have many conveniences that help with the pre and post appointment experience.

I saw Dr Schneider about arthritis in my wrist that I've been considering having surgery on. Dr Schneider provided a clear explanation about my condition and gave me valuable insight about how surgery would impact the long term function of my wrist. He did not recommend surgery based on my goals and lifestyle. I very much appreciated the candidness and would trust this doctor's guidance. The staff was very professional and pleasant and the practice seems very well run. I was actually seen earlier than my 1:30 appointment time!

First time patient at Peachtree Dunwoody office and all went well. Staff and doctor were all polite and kind. My wait time was not bad at all. I was checked in immediately. Waited approximately 10 minutes to go into a room and it took 15 minutes for X-rays and the doctor came in the room within the next 15 minutes. No parking validation was the only dislike about today's visit but it is worth it when the service is good. Hopefully it stays this way.

Had an appointment with Julia Kao today, I was greeted and checked in immediately, then after about a 5-10 minute wait was taken to a room and questioned. Within a few minutes I had X-rays and the doctor came in, took time to check and explain things and options. By far the best experience at an orthopedic practice. Was worth the drive from Chattanooga. The whole staff was awesome.

Resurgens has a system that is quick, professional and works great. You can get in to see a doctor in just a day or so (quicker if needed) which is comforting. The front desk staff and the internal nurses are friendly and professional and caring. The nurses get all the preliminary work done, x-rays, etc so the Dr walks in with a general idea of what is wrong and then listens intently to what you are saying. Very efficient so you are in and out quickly and they even give you a discount on parking!

Dr. Drew Miller did a reverse total shoulder replacement for me in 2020 with amazing results. I HIGHLY recommend him and his very capable and responsive nurse, Lisa Taylor. I would not hesitate to recommend these two medical professionals and the rest of the staff at Resurgens!

I had a scheduled appointment with Dr Hanna at 10 am for pain in my hip. I arrived early and was greeted immediately. After a few questions from his professional staff. Immediately taken for X-rays. In just a few minutes back in the exam room, Dr Hanna came and thoroughly explained the issues with my hip and made recommendations and alternatives. All of this took place in about an hour, very rare in a busy Dr.'s office. Dr Hanna performed knee replacement surgery on me a couple of years ago which was very successful and almost a pain free experience. Dr Hanna, along with a very professional support staff is the one to go to with your pain issues for knee or hip!

Two knee replacements after suffering for 30+ years. I'm doing so well after 2 years I can't remember the pain I was in. Feel stupid for not doing it earlier.

Took a little longer to get back to see the doctor than I had anticipated but everything moved with lightning speed from there. Everyone was professional and kind. Dr. Titelman had clearly read everything I filled out prior to the visit plus what the assistant had written. He is knowledgeable in his field. He asked a lot questions and gave me the chance to ask what I wanted to know. Great place. Highly recommended.

It was a pleasure visiting Resurgens at St Joseph/Emory today. The front desk ladies were cheerful and handled my paperwork with such efficiency. I had just sat down in the waiting room when my doctors nurse called me back. As usual, she was very friendly and focused on the reason for my visit. My doctor came in not a minute after his nurse left. Dr Raines is a highly skilled surgeon.

He explains things to me in terms that I can understand. He is also very personable and doesn't make me feel like I'm just another patient. Resurgens makes me feel like I am appreciated and not like they are doing me a favor.

As a former gymnast, I am no stranger to injuries. But as I fractured my big toe in several places and was told by another doctor "just walk on it. It'll go back into place" (not even bothering to touch the toe or look closely at it), I knew something wasn't right. To try a second opinion, a friend recommended Dr. Gleason. From the start of the appointment, Dr. Gleason was kind, attentive, checked every aspect of my injury, and recommended surgery.

My surgery was scheduled for the next day, and he was right, I even had bone fragments rotated 90 degrees under. Now, 6 months out, I am walking without pain, have mobility in the toe, and have minimal scarring. Thank you Dr. Gleason! I hope I don't have any other injuries, but if I do, Dr. Gleason is the right doctor to go to.

Don't go here if for worker's comp case. Hurried visits. This guy will flip opinions on you in a heartbeat. Got a documented recommendation for spinal implant surgery in one visit and then he flipped opinions without even another visit with me after an opposing counsel lawyer for workers comp contacted him. The next thing I get is a "survey" where he said surgery wasn't necessary. Don't go to a double-minded doctor.

Even though it was workers comp and I was sent here specifically by the insurance company for that, he "doesn't get involved in legal matters" and tried to leave his opinion just as vague as he could as if we were just treating a simple back issue that I had personally. Not recommended. He might be a "good" doctor when it is just personally related, but he'll screw you over with workers comp. I could easily post the difference in paperwork stating the above.

Dr. Mark Hanna did my knee replacement in 2019, and he did a fantastic job. I've continued to see his PA, Nathan Terrell, who is equally wonderful. My right knee had been bothering me. Yesterday, Nathan had x-rays done of that knee, reassured me that it is not in bad shape, and did a cortisone shot in it. It is definitely better. I always feel that they care deeply for their patients and appreciate the care I get from them.

Great staff. Professional and helpful. Felt listened to and that the PA was very knowledgeable. Three recommendations. 1. Make the car lane more efficient, have wheel chairs available - not sit in the car lane to sign one out at front desk. 2. Wheel chair was like a buck board. Get comfortable wheelchairs as sitting on those were very uncomfortable during the 90 minute visit. 3. Free parking. Need to get a few tips from Chick-fil-A on how to move people through a line.

Excellent visit. I was able to get an appointment with a shoulder specialist the day after I called. Dr Ross was patient, listened, and came up with a plan to alleviate my shoulder pain, including a steroid injection. He also discussed options if injection didn't help. Office staff very friendly and professionals. Was in and out, including X-rays and injection, in under an hour. Very impressive office and physician.

Dr Gleason is a great doctor and surgeon. With his experience in foot and ankle, I am confident in my recovery and outcome. I am only 6 weeks from surgery and progressing well. I know I will be in Great shape in no time. It is good to know that my condition is not new or surprising to him; been there, done that are great words to hear. Highly recommend Dr John Gleason.

It was a very pleasant experience. I don't frequent doctors much (thankfully I didn't have to yet). But when I hurt my ankle while dirt biking, I knew something was off. I looked up my in-network orthopedists and Dr. Michael Clark was available the following business day to take me in. The process was very straight forward. I went in, they called me in within 5 minutes (despite it being a busy Monday for them).

Everyone from the nurses/technicians to the Doctor himself were extremely nice and professional. I had the chance to work with Haley, Anya, and an X-ray technician (whose name unfortunately eludes me at present) as well as Dr Clark. They took some x-ray pictures of the affected area, and the doctor identified 2 fractures in 2 of the bones in my ankle region.

The entire process was (relatively) quick, painless, and very streamlined and professional. In between I was asked to wait in a room, while waiting for the next steps. Overall, a very pleasant experience all around.

Thank God for Open MRI machines. I drove an hour to get here but with my claustrophobia, it was well worth the drive. I can NOT do the long tube machines!

I can't express how great my experience was here getting an MRI. It's been a whirlwind with my injury and a number of other things that popped up and Jennifer, the MRI tech who did my scan, went above and beyond to offer comfort, quality care and a genuine bedside manner. You can tell she cares for people as a whole person, not just a number. I'm so grateful for her compassionate care today. Carolyn at the front desk was helpful as well. I highly recommend them!

Couldn't be more impressed! Should have found this group before EMORY ORTHOPAEDICS! Would have saved myself a lot of agony! Called this place and was in the next day to see them. Waited five minutes. THANK YOU! I feel very optimistic this group will help me. Don't think about considering EMORY ORTHO! Their egos are bigger then their concern for your care.

My husband visits with Dr Morris. He is a great doctor genuinely cares about his patients, the assistants that work with him directly are great as well. But the customer service over the phone or from the front reception area is horrible, it's pretty much non existent. If you have a workers comp case good luck, that department is the absolute WORSE.

I think they all need to find another profession because customer service is not it! I just want this all to be over with so that we don't have to return here ever again.

This was my second appointment with Dr. Jonas a shoulder specialist and will most definitely be my last. I had been having shoulder pain for about a week and scheduled to see him. He got me in same day which was great, but I should have known to trust my instincts and not schedule with him a second time. The first time I saw him he was not very friendly and just x-rayed my shoulder and sent me home with an yoga band and verbal explanation of 1 exercise I should do for my 125.00 copay.

This time he did not x-Ray anything and spent approximately 2 minutes in the room with me and did not even touch me. He said my pain was being caused by my neck not my shoulder and prescribed a steroid pack. Keep in mind he never x-rayed my neck. It has now been 1 month and I'm still in intense pain and nothing has been resolved. Do not waste your time or money on a visit with this Dr.

My surgeon was Dr. Mary Albert. She told me the first time she saw my xrays that I needed a hip replacement. I stalled. I was afraid of surgery. I suffered needlessly for 6 more months. I wish I had followed her advice from the beginning. She did such an amazing job! I feel young again, and more importantly I feel hopeful for the future. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Albert.

My daughter had shoulder surgery in December. She began seeing Dr. Mike Morris last spring after having shoulder pain for years. I loved that he was conservative and suggested she first try physical therapy. She did that for a few months and we went back to see Dr. Morris. After hearing about her continued pain he suggested we do an MRI to see if there was a tear.

I greatly appreciate that he included us in the dialogue about what was best to do. She went for an MRI with contrast at Resurgens. Every single person we dealt with was friendly and professional. The MRI showed a tear and it was decided surgery would be the best option Our daughter is in college and they worked around her schedule. On the day of the surgery we were pleased with how well we were kept in the loop as far as the timing went. Dr. Morris came to see us and Samantha before the surgery and then met with my husband and me immediately after finishing the surgery.

He took pictures during the surgery so he could show us exactly what he did and how bad her tear was. The anesthesiologist also saw us before the surgery and then checked on our daughter while she was in recovery. Everyone was very friendly but we were most touched by how caring everyone was. It's obvious they love what they do. Her recovery has gone exceptionally well.

She has been going to PT at Resurgens and is making great progress. We would highly recommend Resurgens. We have been very impressed with all phases of this journey. Dr. Morris is wonderful He is very kind and listens to his patients. We never felt like he was in a rush to get on to his next patient. And all of the people that work with him are super nice and professional.

I've seen a patient here for many many years & have seen multiple doctors at this location. Each and every doctor is absolutely wonderful. Each Physicians Assistant I have seen has been even better than the doctors! The people I've interacted with at the check in and check out as well as the people working in the doctor's specific areas have been terrific! So, if all these people are wonderful why am I giving a 2 star review? 2 reasons.

The wait times are can be horrendous. I usually just bring a book and realize it will be a long wait. I'd say 50% of the time, the wait is greater than 1 hour. The other reason for the 2 star review is a current situation that I hope will be handled in an appropriate fashion. Fingers crossed! I have really high hopes that I can submit an update soon with a more appropriate rating for this stellar group of people.

Dr. Albert performed the last two of seven surgeries on my Rt. knee. Due to several moves from FL to VA to GA, I've had multiple surgeons who have performed everything from reconstructions, to cartilage removal, to plica removal procedures. Before Dr. Albert did my total knee in December, she really encouraged me to make changes that would make my recovery easier like lose weight and begin an exercise program.

I was able to lose 30 lbs. before the surgery.it wasn't easy, but it sure did make rehab a WHOLE lot easier. I appreciate that she pushed me in the right direction because my rehab from the total knee has progressed extremely well. At 14 weeks out, I have more flexibility and better extension than I've had in years.more importantly, I'm virtually pain free.

I can't thank Dr. Albert and Caitlyn Giudici, my Resurgeons' physical therapist, enough for helping me regain the ground I lost thirty years ago. It's been a wild ride, but I am very glad to have had these two at the helm of my recovery. They helped me set and reach the goals that gave me back my quality of life. You can't put a price on that, and it's definitely worth a little wait time in the office.speaking of "wait time".

I see complaints about long wait times, overbooking, and difficulty scheduling appts to see the doctors and PT. Let me just say this. I have yet to find an orthopedic office, or ANY physician's office that doesn't get backed up.especially when the physicians are subject to the unpredictable time demands of surgery. I can also say that, in my personal experience, this office is a WHOLE lot better than some others I've been to as far as wait times and physician/PT accommodation.

As a matter of fact, my PT (Caitlyn) bent over backwards to schedule my PT appts. around my work schedule. All in all, a very positive experience for me from start to finish. Hope your experience is the same.

I cannot put just a one number rating for the whole visit alone. Time I had to wait to get called was almost an hour after my appointment time so that is a 0. The nurse I talked to when I finally got into a room gets a 10. I was not very happy when I spoke to the doctor. I was not informed I would need to wait a few months to have my hip surgery after getting an injection.

If I knew about this I would not have gotten the injection. Now that I have to wait and get it done May 10th it will screw up Mother's Day for my wife and also mess up the following weekend plans. He gets a 5. The lady that set up the appointments for the surgery gets a 10. The lady at checkout also gets a 10.

Just got home from surgery. Resurgens Orthopaedics in Lawrenceville runs like a well oiled machine; from intake to my discharge, it all went off without a hitch. I felt no pain, aside from the stick for my I.V. Dr. Hui is an amazing surgeon. He fit me into his schedule yesterday, (my Birthday), and took his time in explaining my options for treatment, with no pressure to perform surgery.

I chose surgery, and he made it happen today. He greeted me this morning with a big smile, and performed the surgery right on time. I'm told that this is his s.o.p.,(standard operating procedure). Always on time, and fast and efficient. Speed is important to decrease the chances of infection, and he did the procedure in the time it takes to watch an episode of Scooby Doo or two :D I must also give credit to all the rest of the staff, including Dr. Crane, the anesthesiologist that performed the nerve block.

He led his team with tact, precision, and confidence. I am told his techniques are legendary, and my nerve block will likely last until tomorrow night. As I write this, I feel zero on the pain scale. That will change tomorrow night, but I am hopeful that it will be tolerable. Gratefully yours, William Rhino Mueller

I've been waiting in this exam room for the past hour and it has a flyer encouraging patients to write a review about this place, so I might as well, as I don't think the doctor is coming any time soon. I arrived nearly an hour and a half ago and spent a decent amount of time in the waiting room as well. The nurses are polite enough every time I've inquired about when I will be seen (even though no one has even bothered to apologize), but they keep saying that today is a busy day.

While I understand that may be the case, I think that could easily be remedied by not overbooking. Also these walls are so thin that, while waiting, I've heard at least 3 conversations from other rooms that I don't think I necessarily should have heard. It's nice of them to keep magazines in the exam rooms, though. Definitely makes this wait more bearable. But also I would just prefer to not have to wait - at least this long.

Not good. Had a 8:45 appointment. Waited, waited and waited. Finally saw doctor after 10:00 for about 5 minutes. X Ray showed minimal cartilage and bone spur in right shoulder. I know I have torn labrum. I guess that is for the PT to confirm rather than the doctor. Doctor said take prescription NSAID and physical therapy. Also gave cortisone shot. Can't get physical therapy appointment for two weeks. Seems number of people they can fit in is more important than the quality of care. Also, I provided a list of subscriptions I am taking.

They can't seem to be able to simply copy what I wrote on my forms to my records. Two tries and still not correct. How many other patients records have they input incorrect information? Seems pretty dangerous to me not having this correct. At least the $300 cortisone shot seems to be working. Update : Had my PT appointment on Friday. I was instructed to be there 15 minutes early for my 7:00 am appointment.

Guess what? No one for Resurgens shows up until 7:00. The office was completely closed. Why do you tell patients to be there when the office is CLOSED? Unbelievable. After the PT finally saw me the drama of trying to schedule the next appointment begins. The person can't schedule a 7:00am appointment on Friday because people are going to be on vacation and another PT isn't authorized by Blue Cross. Can't do Thursday either.

Actually none of the days at 7:00, but someone will call me today - Monday to get things arranged. You guessed it --- NO ONE CALLED! What a shock! Is this a medical facility or are they filming a hidden camera comedy show? Another update -- apparently they did correct my medications the third time they tried. Of course, no one told me about it. After checking several times I saw that someone was able to accomplish this simple task. UPDATE - Had second doctor's appointment on 11/5/2018. Got there at 8:30 for an 8:45 am appointment.

I was finally seen at 9:41 am. As usual, they were "behind schedule". They have first appointment at 8:00 and by 8:45 they are nearly 1 hour behind schedule? How is that even possible? I set my timer this time. I was charged $112 for an appointment that lasted 4 minutes and 43 seconds with the doctor. His prognosis was that I might have a labrum tear and would need an MRI.

No kidding! That's what I told him a month ago as a prior MRI which was taken there about two years indicated that very same thing! But the big difference is that they waited until they sucked over $800 out of me before they came to this conclusion. What a bunch of scammers! UPDATE - 11/13/2018 Rachel the site manager spoke with me today. Because of the truthful review of my experiences at the Lawrenceville facility I am now banned from the facility.

She does not dispute any of the facts I listed. She said I should have spoken to her about these problems. I did speak to several of the representatives at the facility -- they did not tell her! I asked her if they were going to refund any of my money, she said "of course not". So the protocol is (1) provide terrible service, (2) charge a lot of money for the terrible service (3) kick them out if they don't like paying a lot of money for terrible service. Wow! They are a bunch of scammers. See you in small claims court!

First time patient, not a pleasant experience. Appointment for 315p even early, signed in. 45min in waiting room finally called to the back. Taken to a room asked simple questions by a med asst. ok, Doctor be right with you. 20min later your next, . 20min later he'll be right with you. NO THANKS! Have to go. Med tech had some issue with it. So sad, too damn bad. Reschedule me.

My time is valuable as well. "Oh, we got backed up" So let me and my wife sit in the hot doctor closet no air circulation for an hour waiting instead of notifying us of his dilemma not mine and with an unprofessional attitude. No apologies. Got it, more than likely won't be back. Never met the Doctor, so don't know how he rates but his assistant needs some assistance! People have lives and our time is most valuable some more than others. Remember dat!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My husband had a fracture in his wrist, didn't even ask if he wanted to do an X-ray (we brought a disc with a precious X-ray) but did it anyway and the doctor literally spent 2 seconds with him. Checking out we were given a huge bill when all the lady said to us was "well you could of told them you didn't want the X-ray".

Very unprofessional and not to mention I have called to speak to the office manager for over 2 MONTHS AND SHE HAS NEVER CALLED ME BACK! Listen people it's not worth it don't go! If you need a hand specialist Go to Atlanta Hand Specialist in Johns Creek!

I was having problems with my knee. So, I was referred to Resurgens by Eastside Urgent Care for re-evaluation. I went to my appointment. The physician came in asked me a couple of question and told me to stand up and bend. The physician never touched my knee. Next, HE prescribed me pain pills and told me to take two a day. Finally, he told me to put a pad in my shoes.

My appointment lasted 15 minutes tops. Dissatisfied, I went to a different orthopedics physician at a different practice and received a more logical diagnosis. I have a knee cap that shifts. He took me off the pain pills and gave me a knee brace to stabilize the knee. Following up with MRI and PT. Please be careful going to Resurgence. I won't be going back.

Was referred to this group by a friend, as I previously saw that she had some extensive knee surgery done and was doing great a few months after it. - The staff in the front was very friendly and they were very helpful as well. The location is very easy to get to, and they have a private parking lot with ample spots. - The waiting room was very nice as well.

Very clean and well taken care of. After getting all of my paperwork gathered, I met with their physician - Dr. Scott Quislang. He was a very friendly guy who really just 'spoke' to me, rather than doing any tests. During our conversations, he noted that he was not familiar with the issues that i'm experiencing, and would refer me to another specialist, located down in Emory. (while i thought he was the "GO-TO" person for all Knee related issues.

The options that they gave me was to get a cortisone shot, or open knee surgery (but the person to do that would be the person in Emory). But he recommended that i should really speak with the guy in Emory first, as he would know more about my issues. They were supposedly in-network for me, however my Xrays were not covered, nor was the cortisone shot.

The entire visit ended up costing me over $300 for a 10 minute visit. Would have liked to received that information before spending that money (that this wouldn't be covered, and that the practice didn't even support the issues that i had with my knee). In addition, what was a little weird was one thing that he mentioned in the room before giving me the injection (it will help you for the short term, but its up to you.its your money that i'm taking).

Would have hoped for a better experience, seeing that they are one of the largest private Orthopedic physician offices in the south, however i didn't get the experience that i hoped for.
