Corrupt dens of thieves, rural health fails to provide service regularly, sending information to the wrong insurance about twice a year for over fifteen years, failure to send required medical documents regularly, entitled terrible employees who would rather start confrontation then to offer help. No competent patient advocate, no effective scheduling, no returned calls, general half assery.

This hospital is an absolute joke. I came in at 11 am by 130pm I was still in the lobby. I came in for chest pain shortness of breath pounding head and pain in my right are. While sitting there I lost feeling in my fingers blacked out once. Not 1 no one let alone a nurse dr or anyone who worked in the hospital checked on me. I did get triaged and my blood pressure was through the roof. I watched as everyone else got taken back checked and discharged. While i sat in the lobby in tears. I am now on my way to a different facility to be seen.

Primary care is here, and I've been a couple times. Sometimes it's tricky to get a hold of someone. They do accept voicemails, but depending on the lab, it may take a bit to get a response. In person, the physicians and nurses and administration are all very polite. Editing my previous post after they started returning my calls.

4:30 am. ER waiting room empty. Did I get ice packs for my busted up face during my entire 3 hour wait time? NO While waiting with one eye swollen shut and one arm in a sling did a security guard INSIST that I move my vehicle out to the main street? YES (nearly drove away at this point) Did anyone clean my open facial wounds contaminated with gas and oil? NO After 3 hours, was it recommended that I apply ice packs ASAP. YES Was the last thing said to me "You're lucky it wasn't 10 hours"? YES.

I had to take a family member to the hospital for an emergency, and she had to be operated and kept under watch for 2 days. The nurses were attentive, professional, and compassionate. Thank you!

Dr. Burchum was great obgyn and now I'm pleased with the new dr. This place is better than Lancaster or Bakersfield by far I give a huge satisfaction rating to the womans health at this hospital.

Lived in ridgecrest and have been using this hospital for emergency needs for the last 3 years. Many docs seem to have little to no care for their patients, with some exceptions of course. They dismiss patient concerns, refuse to make appointments, cancel appointments you've waited the better part of a year for the day-of because they don't seem it necessary.

I understand they have some serious staffing issues. Wait times are long, their scheduling is abysmal, and the quality of care is rather low compared to other hospitals I've experienced. Doctors have outdated practices and beliefs. Girlfriend has some reproductive issues that's treated with surgery and hormones, and the first OB told a 20 year old female to 'just get pregnant.' Second OB put her on random hormones and performed a exploratory diagnostic surgery.

There's some seriously fantastic individuals that work here whom I've submitted compliments for to the hospital directly. Sometimes you get lucky. Huge shout out to Moe (Mo?). You're an angel in the ER. We both love you dearly with your incredible attitude and fantastic compassion for your patients!

Treated terribly by nurses in the ER. Doctors at RRH try to help patients but rely heavily on their nurses to provide an appropriate description of the patient's needs. I thought I was having another stroke but decided my chances were just as good to lay untreated in my bed than go to ER and be mistreated.

Went in with chest pain in the middle of a heart attack, after a half hour in the room and speaking with the doctor, I had to ask for a nitro drip and morphine for pain, as I've had a couple before, and am well versed in ER care for a heart attack, I also have a daughter that is an ER certified nurse, that agreed with me. Spent several hours trying to find a hospital in Bakersfield that had a bed available, and waiting on blood test results.

Lived here most of my life and your hospital has gotten so much worse. I have to say, the ER was the worst patient care I've ever seen. They are more concerned about their policies and processes then the patients they are here to serve. ER waits that are 6+ hours, misdiagnosis's, rude staff and being treated like like an inconvenience. Some of the staff were rude, lacked empathy and overall didn't care about the patient experience. Disappointed all around. Do better RRH, for our community
