For more than 50 years, we've helped countless individuals grow their families close to home. At UF Health Leesburg Hospital's Life Center for Women, we are dedicated to helping new mothers and their babies thrive. We are proud that you have trusted us to provide generations of care to Lake County. Our network of board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatric hospitalists and women's care nurses provide compassionate care through each phase of the birthing experience. Our spacious labor and delivery suites were designed for the comfort of mothers and babies as well as their families.
Different people have different weight loss needs. For some patients, bariatric surgery offers the best chance for long-term success with weight loss. Our team focuses on providing individualized solutions to help patients create a healthy lifestyle and maintain long-term weight loss. Eat less, digest less and weigh less: Those are the promises of bariatric surgery. But this seemingly simple solution isn't right for everyone. This tool is designed to help you understand-and make smart decisions about-two types of bariatric surgery: gastric sleeve and gastric bypass.
Our dedicated Pediatrics Unit provides comprehensive inpatient care for children from birth up to age 18.
