While I understand it can be frustrating to not always get what you want, be your own advocate. My Primary Care Physician was not available for an immediate appointment, but her MA (Cynthia) promptly called me after I left an urgent message and scheduled me with PA Lauren Miller who was able to accommodate in 2 business days. Lauren was friendly, professional, compassionate, caring, and concerned for my welfare and did not rush the visit.

In addition, her follow up to my chart was impeccable and a dermatologist referral scheduled as promised. Thanks to Theresa for that follow up. I would give 10 stars if I could!

I truly have never been more dissatisfied with a practice in my life. They are dishonest, always have an attitude when communicating and getting any issue resolved is like pulling teeth. That's just the main office. The PHYSICIANS AT THIS COMPANY ARE AWFUL! Rude, corrupt, and unprofessional. I've seen 2 physicians within this company and both have been less than acceptable. They bill their procedures incorrectly, and when the patient gets hit with a bill, the headquarters completely and outright refuses to help.

Dr Suryadevara is an EXCELLENT physician. She listens to my concerns, explains everything very well, and her interventions have helped me lower my A1c to a healthy number and keep it stable. I'm so grateful to be her patient.

Horrible company run by people who could actually care less about their patients. They are constantly giving you the run around, when you DO get into contact with someone, they treat you as if you're stupid and a burden. I was seeing a specialist within this company as well as my primary care physician. In the last year things have got exceedingly worse.

I ask the doc and am told they had some changes to their system- whatever these changes may be, it has ruined my experience with this company and unfortunately my trust in my doc. I would have given them 4 stars 2 years ago!

Dr Sethi had terrible bedside manners, touched me without telling me why or what he was doing, and screwed up the settings on my insulin pump. I asked to change to a different doctor, and for some reason they have a policy where you can't see a different doctor in their clinic if you've already been to one of their providers. What kind of ridiculous policy is that? My insurance plan has a very limited number of doctors that can see me, and because of this policy, I've lost three potential providers. What a joke.

Dr Inel is the most caring doctor i have ever had. He is a great listener and always tries to help. The staff is great also. I have been a patient since 2007.

We have been using Dr. Griffin at AZ Community Physicians for many years and are thrilled with the care he gives us. We feel like he knows us as people as well as patients and listens and respects our opinions. He makes us feel like we are part of a team caring for our health. He keeps current on the literature and continuing education. We are grateful he is available to us.

His assistants are marvelously friendly and although the office has struggled from time to time, corrections are made and the office is relatively friendly too. Thank you Dr. Giffen and staff.

The staff here is really nice and understanding. I was referred because of some nodules so they understood the importance of being seen quickly. Dr. Sethi, who is extremely smart and competent, was able to see me within a few days. He listened carefully to all of my concerns and ordered set forth a plan of action.

When using these physicians, just read EVERYTHING you sign very closely and make sure to explicitly ask about any and all tests that may be performed on you. During an annual check-up, certain blood tests were conducted that I was neither aware of nor notified about and of course, I was charged for them. I was later told the waiver I had signed was considered consent. Caveat emptor. I also cancelled an appointment earlier in the year after sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I am currently looking for a new physician.

A really poor office, avoid at all costs. Dr. Insel dropped me as a patient because I chose not to take a dangerous drug, prescribed by another physician for a health issue unrelated to Insel! Dr Sethi was worse. spent 3 minutes with me in a new patient appointment and then rushed off to see another patient. with little comment other than he didn't like the blood work I brought in. said the blood was drawn an hour too early! These two should not be practicing medicine, IMO. and the third, Seri Whoever, is no better.

Charged $400 because I was a new patient! The ONLY reason I went here instead of another Dr. that I would have preferred to see is that this place takes my insurance and the Dr. I wanted to see doesn't take any insurance at all because he is that good. This place didn't end up helping me at all. Ready for the best part? I now have an appointment with the Dr. who doesn't take insurance and his new patient fee $150!

Two sad truths I have learned: 1. It's actually cheaper to go to a DR. that doesn't take your insurance (and I have been told over & over again by Drs. & billing depts. that I have good insurance (BCBS). 2. If a Dr. takes your insurance they are probably not that great and if a Dr. doesn't take any form of insurance it's probably because they are among the best and they don't need to deal with health insurance BS. Even if it costs more go to Drs. who don't take insurance.

Something has changed in what used to be an EXCELLENT Doctors office with very knowledgable understanding Staff. They may still be like that but something has changed by the larger main office that is making the calls on what needs to be done to make more money. I have paid out of pocket for things I didn't even go there for. I talked with them and they said they would sent it to collections.

I don't trust what is being done and who is pushing the Doctors to add things that have nothing to do with that appointment. I also requested more then 1 refill on one of my medicine been getting for years so I pay the same price for 90 day supply vs 30 day supply. I am on a limited income and after 2 days, I still didnt receive a response. I'm sure the staff I knew and liked is being pushed too hard by upper Corporation. No time to care the way they used to.

Bait and Switch. I waited for 2 months specifically for an appointment with Dr. Sury. An appointment confirmation call was made, I went through all of the exam prep, and as she was leaving the room, the MA said - Dr. Sethi will be right in. You mean Dr. Sury, I said. No. Dr. Sury gave your case to Dr. Sethi. Excuse me?! There were many opportunities to inform me of this, and I would have cancelled or objected. Dr. Sethi was, as I expected, not experienced enough to handle the complexities of my case.

I wasted time - 2 months waIting plus time at the office, money - I asked tHat they NOT bill for this wasted day. Of course, they did. And, I drove away with no treatment. No apology or attempt at service recovery, I might add. Done and Done with this practice.

Went in for a minor issue at a time when I didn't have insurance so I was paying in cash. I asked since I am here how about a flu shot also. They could not figure out what to charge me for "cash" for the shot, ,,s o they couldn't give it to me. Really? So I went to CVS and got my flu shot. Everybody is trying to figure out how to pay for the high cost of medical care, ,,m aybe we should be asking why is it so high? Insurance?

I love Dr. Sury. In fact, the doctors at Western Endocrine seem very committed and kind. However, Dr. Sury's medical assistant was never able to get a preauthorization form and get it sent in for me. Dr. Sury prescribed medication for me for a broken foot. I checked with my Blue Cross representative and called the MA to tell her how/where to get the form.

I continued to phone numerous times over a two-week period to check status (and also sent messages through the patient portal). I had given her the information on where to find the form and where to submit it. She returned only one phone call and two weeks later, nothing had happened. (Blue Cross informed me was a two-three hour process.) Today I phoned again, and the receptionist (Claire) heard my story, downloaded the preauthorization form, filled it in, sent it in and sent in the correct prescription in TWO HOURS! Hats off to her.

They just need to deal with staff who clearly are not able to do their jobs. And, they need to give those receptionists a raise! They really took the time to listen and fixed the problem. Thanks, Claire!

I love my doctor and have almost always gotten excellent services at the office i go to. My doctor is Carol Wolfe. Dr. Gary Bohay is also in this office & is well-liked by my husband. There are other offices and one doctor i think is horrible, but not where i go. Don't throw them all in the pit--name the ones to stay away from in your reviews.

We are so thankful we found Dr. Suryadevara who has been extremely professional, respectful, and informative during our first appointment with her. My mother is highly anxious and doesn't speak English very well, but Dr. Sury took her time with her and explained and repeated information. We left the clinic feeling thankful for the excellent care. The office staff seemed professional as well, and the wait time was reasonable. Just another perspective.

I wanted to tell you how disappointed I am with your group. I have been waiting for months to get in to see Dr. Sreenija Suryadevara. I was referred to her by my GP, Dr. Netley D'Souza. After many phone calls over several weeks (never getting called back as promised BTW), I called today, was put on hold and then was told the Doctor wouldn't see me because I have been seen by another doctor in the same group within the last 3 years which was Dr. Posadas.

I left Dr. Posadas over a year ago because she refused to try me on Amour thyroid. I'm not as upset about the policy (although it's a stupid one from a business standpoint) as I am about the length of time it took to be told. I'm sick and need treatment. I'm glad it is such a priority to your group. I will certainly get the word out to avoid Western Endocrine Associates.

Like another review over a year ago, I too, had trouble making an appointment. When I first called, I was told I needed a referral, even though my insurance indicates I don't, they insisted on one. I received a phone call on 12/8/17 to schedule an appt. Too bad I wasn't home because it's been nothing but trouble since. I called the morning of 12/11/17 and had to leave a voicemail (their voicemail says they will call you within 48 hours). So, I waited.

And waited. On 12/14/17, I called again - thinking I might have slurred my speech when giving my phone number, I left another voicemail. No reply, no nothing. I was very frustrated and about to give up, but on 12/22/17 I tried again. This time, instead of leaving a voicemail, I found an option for "all other questions" so I chose that option and actually reached a person.

I told her my plight and she excused the situation as the scheduling person Candice being on vacation (ok, I can buy that, I was on vacation too) and that scheduling around the holidays was problematic due to low staff (this one I didn't buy since I was attempting to schedule the previous week). Today, 12/28/17, I made one last attempt. All the while reading these (and other) reviews.

I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes. It is really too bad as the doctor came pretty highly recommended and I really need some help, but the office staff are clearly incompetent. If someone can find a way to break through that wall.

I found a new doctor in the ACP network about seven weeks ago that found things wrong with me that my previous doctor didn't. He referred me to three specialist (a cardiologist, an endocrinologist, and a lipidologist) and sent me for lab work and scans. All in the ACP network. I thought he was being thorough. However. I found the office staff at the cardiologist and endocrinologist offices were condescending, rude, unorganized and disinterested in patient care.

At the Cardiologist Office: The staff members continued their personal conversation for 5 minutes while I was waiting at the window. I now know way too much about their personal life. They cancelled my appointment without any notice. When I complained, the office person told me "I don't see why your getting so upset." I complained that the new Rx he gave was interfering with my sleep and was dismissed and given a new Rx for double the dose of the same medication.

The Pharmacist told me a lot of people had complained about the same problem with this medication. When I called and requested the cardiologist call me back, I was told he doesn't talk to patients. Really! At the Endocrinologist Office: After waiting five weeks to see the endocrinologist, I arrived for my appointment on time and was told they didn't take my insurance (I already verified that they were contracted with my insurance company before I made the appointment).

I asked the staff member to check with someone else and she came back and said they did take my insurance. Then I waited in the lobby 98 minutes past my appointment (without talking to anyone) before I was taken back to see the nurse who took my vitals. The doctor was very nice, but rushed as it was now after 6:00 and the office was closed. I cancelled my appointment with the lipidologist.

After the cardiologist told me he gets a lot of referrals from my doctor, I came to the conclusion that some of the doctors in the Arizona Community Physicians network send you to specialists and order tests you don't really need. I realize everyone needs to make money, but what happens to caring about patients? I am going through all of my bills and Explanation of Benefits at the moment to make sure my insurance company and I are not being billed for services not rendered. I have no trust left in ACP.

I had an appointment for Jan 3rd. Over New Years weekend, I came down with bronchitis. I searched their website for a way to contact them as soon as possible, but there was nothing. The phone also didn't allow for messages over the holiday weekend. I rang first thing in the morning. I could barely speak. Clearly I was ill. I was rudely spoken to and told I would be most likely charged a fee for not canceling in enough time.

I said, "how should I have notified you?" I tried several ways to no avail.given how rudely I was spoken to when I scheduled, and then had to cancel, I will not be seeing any doctor here. Doctors are only as good as their staff, and from others similar experiences, I doubt this was a fluke. Will happily take my business elsewhere.

I was a little worried about going to this office because of the review of the office staff. I end up loving the doctor however the office staff is horrible. I felt that the doctor never got my messages. I had to call many times to ask him my questions and when the doctor called back he stated that he never received my messages. When you set up your first appointment for the first time you have to go through a different option.

That was no big deal, however I had to call them three different times. They stated that only one girl can do it and she lost my number and was hoping I would call back. Furthermore, my insurance changed and because they are not contracted through that insurance any I can't go to that doctor anymore. The office staff stated that I need to find a new doctor. I am glad that they think finding a new doctor is so easy. It was super disappointing and now I am in need to getting my medical records and trying to find a new doctor.

The staff at this office are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I can't speak about the current physicians, because I was unable to make an appointment. I have a referral from my primary doctor, they accept my insurance, have lots of availability, and they are accepting patients.just not me. Apparently, I had one single appointment about 5 years ago, with a physician that no longer works there.

According to their "policies", they can't see patients that saw this doctor, that no longer works there, because. I have no clue. I don't think they do either, because they couldn't explain it. "Sorry. It's just our policy."

Please know that I had been with the female Endocrinologist prior to her moving into this practice in Tucson. She seemed to be caring and efficient. The staff at the prior location was helpful and courteous. The group she joined at Western was quite different with the exception of the tech that took blood for testing. The last experience I had was hurtful and disappointing.

I had to cancel an appointment due to my husband's ongoing surgeries for skin cancer. I did reschedule and became distracted with my husband's serious concision and did not keep the second appointment. I did call both for a rescheduling and to have my medication refilled after I saw the Dr. I was told, in so many words, that since I didn't call sooner I could find another doctor.

This group does not call to remind one of an appointment, which all my other Drs. and Dentist do. They have to be prodded to fill prescriptions, my pharmacist having to call several times. The wait on the phone is abnormal as is sitting in the Dr's office. They do have a busy practice as there are other Drs. in attendance thus the "cattle" mentality.

There is a new endocrinologist in my life now. I have to agree with the prior review and hope that this practice looks seriously at their staff and how they treat patients. I have even heard the gals make fun of patients behind the entrance window! My nature is not one of complaining however this treatment warranted my reaction.
