Saint Alexius Hospital EMR

1st when being taken by ambulance, we weren't given a choice where to go. Then get there I was sent in through main emergency door to desk while my mom was taken in the other way on stretcher. They acted like I was trying to hijack the place when I asked to use the restroom, took forever to make them realize I was a patient too and came in on the ambulance also.

They admitted my mom but sent me home the next day. They knew I was sick. 2 days later my son drove me to another hospital where I got proper care cause I was on the verge of being dead and was sent straight to ICU. Now to make matters even better, I have given them insurance info for both my mom and myself. We ended up being billed cause they claim they didn't get any insurance information from us. Worst hospital in St. Louis avoid it at all cost. Go somewhere else if you want to live.

I know they aint gonna respond because i didnt give them enough stars but, when my sister was a patient there, she went in for seizures. As my little sister is convolting and foaming from the mouth, the doctor asked me if she was having a seizure. Im like I work in fast food not the medical field you tell me. He said I DONT KNOW. well HERES YOUR SIGN SMART GUY. NEVER GO THERE!

This place had my information stolen and sent me a letter saying someone got hold of my hospital records and personal records. When I was there it was very odd took me to the back nobody in rest of the hospital but the ER lights off and very odd.

These guys took good care of my wife and gave me as much information as we needed. One of the best in STL

Positive reviews got replies and thanks. The negative reviews were ignored. I would say that pretty much sums this place up in a nutshell. Ownership changed, most/many staff did not. Physicians did not. The docs, other than a few hospitalists, are by-and-large, misfits who would have a difficult time credentialing elsewhere. I wish them all the best but expect it will be an uphill battle to overcome their deeply entrenched shoddy reputation in our community.

I had to visit South City E.R. a couple months ago, in the very early morning hour and from the time I arrived to the time I left I was treated with the the utmost respect. I had a guy nurse who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and for the life of me I can not remember his name but if he sees this THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! They are the best hospital and hospital team in St. Louis. Thank you all for your kindness! Sammi

Nice staff, clean facility and safety measures are used. I was treated with respect and nurses really care. Thank you!

Kudos to you for standing behind what is right and not making the covid 19 vaccine a mandate on employees! That is what America and Freedom stands for! I will recommend this hospital over any other in st louis and surrounding areas! We all have personal rights and we must fight for them.

I had a family member in this hospital, I would rate the experience as awful as a whole for said individual and as a family. I reached out to administration level, failed to receive calls back. Family member was displaced in the community which resulted police involved. As person whom just purchased the hospital on a new mission to improve the hospital in the community I would have thought the entire situation would have been handled better.

If you are in a true psychiatric crisis, I wouldn't suggest visiting here especially if it's a full blown psychosis crisis. They evidently did not help nor keep my family member safe. I can tell you, I am truly traumatized and wasn't the patient.

I had to go to ER at this hospital and the staff was very warm and encouraging to me about the pain i was having. Excellent Doctors. I recommend this hospital for very good care!
