Kudos to Saint Frances Hospital Bartlett! Friday May 27th, flew into Nashville from North Carolina to visit a friend. Needless to say, I was NOT expecting to visit an emergency department but a kidney stone said otherwise. Everyone from registration to the doctor and several in between were exceptional! Polite, concerned for my needs and were informative of any delays. GREAT JOB!

The lobby, triage, treatment, triage, bed system is exceptional and well organized and apparently underrated by looking at other comments. Highest priority FIRST! But of course, early Sunday morning of the 29th, I was required to make another appearance related to excruciating discomfort from Mr. Kidney Stone. Again the same treatment, different staff.

Nothing changed except for an extended lobby wait, which was explained clearly and I understood, however before entering the lobby, the nurse made sure I was pain free. THANK YOU and BLESS each and everyone involved in my care! Chris Connor, Paramedic (Retired)

My partners mother passed away from medical neglect. Because of a lack of health insurance, the medical staff tried to rush and convince her to go home when she needed to stay admitted. She died 3 days later. Moreover the nurses were not wearing masks and she could have died of COVID-19, but we weren't sure. This hospital should be sued for malpractice. If you want to live, do not send your loved ones to this hospital.

In my opinion, this hospital is one of the worst. My sister went through the ER for breathing problems, she was admitted. Six days later, they were going to send her home, the doctor ordered a last minute test, they forcibly held her down for this test and she coded. It was discovered that her lungs were full of fluid. She was placed on a vent. She started to receive not so great medical care because the family complained abut the treatment she was receiving.

What did they expect, they pretty much made her code 3 different times. I could write a book on the abuse, neglect, and patient rights violations that took place during her stay at this place.

I was almost really shocked to log on and, see that this hospital had such a low overall rating. Mainly because, our visit today consisted of nothing but, being met with sweet and very professional, professionals! My husband was scheduled for a same day surgery here at St. Francis and, the staff from the moment we walked into the hospital was warm and, welcoming.

We were greeted by the front desk clerk, given instructions to wait in the lobby to be called back to his room. I don't even think we waited 30 minutes before he was called back. Once we made it to my husbands assigned room, we were met by his nurse, Amy! She answered questions with no problems! Was very sweet and, friendly! Once it was time for my husband to head to surgery, we were then greeted by transportation who was an absolute hoot!

Definitely an angel in disguise to keep your mind off of the thoughts you're having about surgery! Then there's Dr. Gibson! What doctor do you know, calls you after they've performed a surgery to update you on the success of your partners surgery?! There's literally no room for nervousness because this amazing team keeps you so occupied with taking in all of their positive energy! I really appreciate all of you for your generosity shown today to my husband during his surgery and, for me, as his spouse.

Monique was my nurse and she went over and beyond her job title. She truly cared for me as a patient and A REAL PERSON. She should have the biggest raise for the hours and dedication she puts towards her profession. They were so personal that when I left my belongings she put them up safely for me the next day. She works in the ER AND IS JUST THE BEST! SHE MADE MY WHOLE HORRIBLE DAY TURN, WONDERFUL. She will be the reason I will tell others to go to Saint Francis Bartlett!

Do not come to this emergency room! I should've know something was wrong with a empty waiting room. I just assumed they were quick about taking care of the patients. Came in with a A-Fib problem this morning, they I did get into a room fairly quick. The night/early morning staff I experienced was a joke! Told the emergency doctor what was wrong with me and she treated it as if I had a damn splinter.

But wait there's more! Told her exactly what medication to use per my cardiologist to treat my A-fib. Not only did she not know what I was talking about. She gave me the wrong medication and discharged me with a unresolved A-fib problem. I left and went straight to Baptist East where the experience was the exactly opposite. Even the nurses there knew St Francis is a joke. Wish I had got the memo, could've saved me a trip and horrible experience.

My wife and I went there and went to triage pretty quickly. Overall we were in the lobby for over 7 hours the last 2.5 hours were waiting to be discharged and she had an blood draw needle in her arm the entire time. Eventually after asking to be discharged several time we refused further treatment and left. When the needle was taken out of her arm the staff member acted like it was such a bother to do it and practically ripped it out. I wouldn't recommend this er to anyone.

My son was in a car accident, and we went in to get checked out and knew we'd be waiting a long time on a Friday night. After 4 hours, we decided to leave and visit his primary dr the next day. Luckily, Dr. Joslynn James was there and heard we were going to leave and put a rush on a head and chest CT scan along with fully checking him for spinal and neck injuries.

She told us about her trauma center experience and how important it is to immediately check those things especially after a T-bone accident such as his. All checked out well, but she told us to monitor him for anything that could develop within his stomach from the seat belt. She was extremely knowledgeable and present. She even called the next evening to check on him and said she thinks of all patients as family. I highly recommend her to anyone anywhere!

Went to ER and was admitted that's when things went south quick. Transportation to a room arrived and took us to wrong room. Patient was told he would pass due to age and injuries. Then just as the family had adjusted/accepted the facts that their love one would not be coming home. Then patient care calls to arrange a bed and wheelchair for after the patient discharge. Giving family hope again just to find out he would not be going home. Now think 81 years wife of dying man confusion and trust in your hospital.

I went into the ER strictly for a covid test because everyone else was closed at that hour. They stuck a swab up my nose four times. Three days later, I still hadn't received a call regarding my results so I called them. I was told that a test was never sent off so obviously they couldn't give me results. I was told by numerous employees that I would not be billed because they lost my test and it never got sent off. Well, to no one's surprise, I received a bill several weeks later.

I contacted the 1-800 number to file a claim. The next day received a call stating that the claim had been reviewed and that I still had to pay my ER visit co-pay. Cool. I'm paying a lot of money for literally walking into the ER and not receiving a service. Nice.
