TO ALL CONSIDERING THIS HEALTH CARE NETWORK. Their Patient Portal is the worst! It must have been designed 20 years ago. No mobile app, You must view it on a website using a computer. My patient profile page shows outdated incorrect info. The latest update is from 2 years ago. You have no access to latest test results. My latest results are from 2 years ago.

When they send your blood test request to Quest Diagnostics or whomever, they can't send it electronically, only by fax. This means you cannot view your results using your lab's app, as well as on your SYHC's patient portal. They also used an outdated fax number for Quest Diagnostics, so I had to inform SYHC because it never got to them. Doctors there last about 6 months before you are assigned another. Revolving door of primary doctors. CONSIDER THESE ISSUES AMONG OTHER ISSUES BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH SYHC.

Highly do not recommend this office. Patients are not a priority and customer service is not helpful in providing a clear path to mental health support. If you are looking for mental health treatment, DO NOT go here.

Literally do not come here. My grandma and I waited 2 HOURS for her medication when they said it will only take 45 minutes. While sitting in the waiting area all I saw were pharmacists talking and laughing instead of doing their job. A joke of a place and don't take their jobs seriously when they are literally working with people's health.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be treated like the scum of the earth BY the scum of the earth. The one start is only because it's mandatory.

Went to their urgent care in Chula Vista post Covid for a wellness check and the staff was very professional and attentive. The doctor listened to all my questions and answered them. Was a administered a rapid test and confirmed that I was now negative for COVID. This spot is a well kept secret. Right next to the new VA clinic.

With respect to my report, I usually use the dictate option on my Android phone. And sometimes the things a I say are not understood or printed by the Android dictation incorrectly. My review is about the San Ysidro Health Center also known as SYHC.

I have been to all the other clinics for all my chiropractor needs. I've seen 5 different chiropractors in the last 9 years at the other locations of San Ysidro health. This is the first time I've felt informed with whats going on with my body. Dr. Raul Ochoa looked over my ct scan and went through everything with me not even the ER doctor did that.

Right when he did my neck it was in the perfect place that i felt instant release. It's not just the neck pain it's the dizziness and headaches that come with it and as I was leaving the clinic I felt like things where clearer. Excited for the future of less pain and more relief.

We went to the SYHC for a Covid shot. I was able to get an appointment the day before. The staff were courteous, efficient & very hpful. It took more time filling out the paperwork then actually getting the shot. Of course there is the necessary 15min wait to make sure you dont have any adverse reactions. Will be back in 24 days for the 2nd shot. Yea!

Today was my premature daughters first appointment after being born and they treated me horrible, I was going in to apply for temporary medical for her and they mentioned that the medical website had crashed and she didn't even offer me to wait around they just rescheduled me and didn't take in consideration that my baby was premature and needed to be seen. And when I was pregnant I also went here and they treated me horrible at first.

This is so ridiculous both places the health center and the main big building. I was told by medical records my form would be ready in 3-7 business days. I show up and they said they have it but it wasn't finished. It's long overdue and I said I need it done ASAP to start my new job. The clinic has terrible service. I chipped my FRONT tooth and waited over an hour plus the addition of the $75 I paid for to not get my tooth fixed and to be told to come back in February. I get covid it's a hard time but every time I come here for a check up or anything it's always been such a stressful and hard situation even prior to covid.

Joining this health network has been the biggest mistake of my life. As a senior citizen, I've had a lot of health issues over the past couple of years. Incredibly, I am not able to even visit, or see, my own doctor anymore. "Doctor is unavailable".is the standard reply now. So instead, you get redirected to a non-doctor, a PA, (physician's assistant).

The last time I was there, I explained my daily neurological problems to the "PA", such as disorientation, nausea, dizziness, etc. He told me that I needed to go see a psychiatrist. Huh.?.What.? I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I went running to my car and said to myself."never again". The place is geared strictly for profit.not for patient care.

They do nothing to help patients 'in need'. They've carved out their niche by churning huge volumes of patients through their system.and prescribing countless medications.and then billing government agencies, like Medicare, and MediCal.to reap their revenue. There is no patient care here. None. And now that Covid vaccinations are being shipped nationwide, I called to find out how and when they plan to administer the vaccine to elderly patients.

The answer I got was "We don't know. All we know is what we see on TV." I responded by saying "so i can't get vaccinated against Covid-19.?".and they said."well, we just don't know". Yikes. If, as a patient, you like being ignored, misled, and mis-diagnosed, then this is the definitely the place for you. But God help you should you ever get sick. I seriously wish i could give them "0" stars.

This place is an absolute nightmare. I have been a patient of mountain health for over 15 years, which was recently acquired by San Ysidro Heath. Maybe it made sense financially but the transition has been an absolute horror when it comes to patient care. Even just trying to get an appointment is darn near impossible. A few minutes of multiple automated menus and prompts turns into a minimum 25-45 minute hold or god forbid you eventually bail out with a call back option (who has time for a 45 minute hold?!) only to miss their call 2 hours later or don't get a call back at all.

When you finally do get a live person on the line you are looking at a week out for appointments typical at least etc. AND don't even get me started on the sheer inadequacy of their referral department. Over a year ago my doctor ordered me a referral to see a surgeon for my gallbladder. Over 6 times I was given referrals to providers that don't take my insurance.

Every single time I called (insert nightmare phone tag scenario mentioned above) and finally talked to the referral department they assured me they'd correct the situation. A week later a new referral in the mail only to find it incorrect again. It was so unequivocally defeating I just quit. 6 months later I talked to my doctor about the situation (he was appalled) and tried the process again with renewed hope. Nope.

Same inadequacy. Here we are over a year later and I haven't seen a surgeon. I have only stayed because I LOVE my primary care provider, but the sheer ineptitude of this whole organization should be criminal. Time to move on.

My father is a patient here and I help him with admin stuff. while his doctor is very knowledgeable. Have to say that the customer service/organization really needs work. Don't leave a message you won't get a call back. Left about 5 messages different times. Had an appointment seeking a letter, it's been 2 weeks. I guess I have to call them and request it.

They got rid of the call center because of the pendemic or something. No one ever answers the phone and then when you put in the option for a call back number it just keeps saying "please enter a number followed by the pound sign" after I did that 5 times already. Please call the insurance or someone to complain about this. They can't keep cutting corners like this out of greed. People need health care.

Due to Covid, they changed their hours and closed at 5pm which is totally understandable. Me and my husband get off work at 4:30 and we work 30min.away. my husband is diabetic and has to pick up his refills, i finally was able to leave 30 min. earlier to pick them up. i arrived at the San ysidro clinic (the one that is by the border) at 4:47 (because i still have to pick up my daughter from daycare) and they were closed already.

The security told me that they close at 4:45 because the staff/ nurses like to leave early. I informed him i just needed to pick up my husband's meds cus it was his last day, the security tried to see if they would give them to me but they said no. i told him, " but it stays here that you guys close at 5pm, (i even took a pictureof the sign)! that's not fair. he said yeah and i even suggest next time you come at before 4:30 because they like to leave early and sometimes they take last patient at 4:30. i insisted i was just there to pick up medicine, he just said " sorry" This is horrible, The nurses get paid for this, this is literally their job. my husband is DIABETIC! do they let people suffer just because they like to leave early? whoever is in charge really needs to look into this location before a tragedy happens due to their carelessness.

Stay far away. These people just bought the clinic I was going to, Santee Family Medicine Mountain Health, in April 2020. It takes 8 weeks to get referrals if sent to the right specialist. To get help from the call center can take 20 to 45 minutes before you take to someone. Then they say someone will call you back and all you get is crickets. During the beginning of covid-19 you would actually think they would confirm that the office was open. Nope wait 3 weeks to find out that the person who processed the referral 3 days after ordering was done that they never sent or called me with the information.

Then waited 1 week for the office to call me back to find out they hadn't reopened. During a pandemic this would be commen sense since most offices had closed and we're trying to figure it.

They need a new team in the call center. For years this has been my issue with them. I love the doctors at the Oceanview clinic. But me trying to call and make a app just really never happens I end up walking into the clinic to make a app. I've been trying since 1230 and now it's almost a hr later still haven't made it. I got thru like twice and they just Hang up.

Why even work there if your going to hang up on me. I'm soo mad I do have better things to do other than playing phone tag and putting up reviews. About there horrible services but I'm so mad. But I'm not done here I'm going to get ahold of someone with some authority to report it to cause in the process of writing this review I called again and they hung up, after being put on hold for like 15mins that last time was longer then that. So if you haven't ever been here to these clinics Good Luck

I dont feel safe here. They put that I got a vaccine on my record when I had no vaccine administered. Their computer system is messed up. Check your medical records, the ones you have to request from medical records, not the print out after the visit. They can give you your full record for each appointment after the appointment. You have to sign a paper.

If you dont sign a paper than thats not the full record, that would be the print out. Doctors notes are incorrect. Like pre made templets. They said a bunch of stuff that was in regards to someone else's appointment or something in the notes. This is fraud of some sort. It's possibly their computer system. But all the leaders of this place care about is money.

The doctors might care for you but the managers make it hard on the doctors and then the doctors make it hard on the patients. This place seriously needs new management and a new owner. The owner seriously does not care about people at all. STOP TRYING TO DO EVERY THING UNTIL YOU CAN MAKE THE CURRENT PROBLEMS BE FIXED. im about ready to sue for all this bullshit.

I can sue without a lawyer. That's possible. Also, I have lawyer friends. I hope they read this and change their ways for the sake of the lives they have in their hands.

This place is really nice. The staff is friendly and very helpful to moms. Every so often, they have lunch prepared for kids. There are toys to keep the toddlers busy and happy. The bathrooms have changing tables which is amazing. And there's even a grocery store next door for all your with needs if you need food right away. And the people there are very helpful too. Can't go wrong with this place

I dont like this WIC office, breastfeeding should be a choise not an obligation and when you stop breastfeeding they mommyshame you and make you feel guilty. Let me tell you this as a mom that works full time and studies I wasn't able to include breastfeeding more then 3 months in my life and the ladies there just judged me and I felt so attacked. I still feel the hostile environment when I go to the office and even though this is the convinien one i am thinking of changing

Called 4 times this afternoon. Noone is answering. What kind of office doesnt answer the phone! And to update they are slow as can be. They must think you have nothing better to do. There is faster ways to operate your office.

I've been going ti the Chula Vista location. The care has always been fine for the last year or so that I've came here, with the medical assistants, scheduling, urgent care and the Drs. But the receptionists are something else, loud about personal conversations, doing their makeup at their desks instead of going to the restroom for like a 5 minute break.

And they're not gona put it down until they done, they dont find it inappropriate/ unprofessional. Don't get me wrong, it's not all of them, but there are certain people that just dont seem to care. It's not about them, it's about the reputation theyre giving the clinic.
