While Dr. Hemphill is an amazing neurologist, some of the staff is just plain rude and make you feel like you are just a bother to them. The service is atrocious in most interactions. When you come across a team member that is a friendly or polite they shine like beacons. It's just shameful you can't choose your nurse like you can choose your server. But ultimately teaching good customer service to their staff is highly necessary.

Owner didn't like my previous review and seems to have had it removed, so I'll reiterate. Unorganized, and will take forever to get back to you regarding taking care of authorization of medications. if you call and ask for help about this, the front desk staff will only wordlessly forward you to different voicemails for you to leave messages on. I had to wait a month to finally hear back. on top of this now, the owner seems insecure that disabled people have a problem with the way their practice is ran, not letting certain reviews remain up. sad, but not surprising at all.

I saw NP Caroline today. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was not rushed and felt very comfortable with her.

Really like this office. Staff are efficient and friendly. They have an excellent phlebotomist and I love my nurse practitioner Amanda Merritt

Terrible practice and I never even got an appointment. It took the PCP a month to fax the referral. They would not make an appointment without one. Then it takes this practice at least 3 weeks to process it from the time its faxed. Was trying to see if they at least got the referral and they couldn't do that without knowing exactly when it was faxed (because they "1000").

When trying to look in my call log to see when the PCP called me stating they faxed it my phone hung up on her. Which of course she probably thought I did that on purpose.because when I finally was allowed to make an appointment they booked me with a pediatric MD.which I would have never know this until I drove down there at the appointment time. I had called today to verify the appointment as I never received the new patient paperwork email.

The email they read off was the correct one.so indeed they had it. Now of course MONICA apologized and stated she was sorry they had a pediatric scheduler doing appointments and they must have done that. Now I can do an appointment for July. So now it will be 6 months from the time the referral was put in. MONICA was the person that did the appointment but lied and blamed it on someone else.

Most likely she did this on purpose because the referral person thought I hung up on her. If this isn't a red flag I don't know what is. Unfortunately the medical services in the Savannah area are a lot like this I am learning. Who knows the quality of the MD's because I never got past the referral person and Monica.

My daughter has been a patient here since her first seizure, Sept. 2017; so far everyone front office, etc, has been great/accommodating, we're still happy and understanding with Sav'h Neurology. One of my biggest irritations, is the entrance going into the commercial property, {one is for sav'h neurology in the back, bldg. C, the other is for MHU Physicians Adult Primary, bldg. A, . not concerned about bldg. B}.

The point is. Who owns this commercial property and why haven't they done anything to work on the entrance/driveway from the main/city road from 'Waters Ave' into the commercial property for over five years? And why is it that when I asked someone at the front about this horrible driveway that scrapes up the underside of your car, and causes damage to your car.

The only reply I got back was landscaping.? This is a Major problem between a city street and a commercial lot!. Landscaping is usually dealing with shrubbery, trees, bushes, grass, etc; When there are major road issues that are damaging to your car/vehicle, how does that turn into a landscaping problem? If someone can please deal with this major 'commercial lot' issue with the driveway (mainly going in/entrance) that is definitely not a landscaping issue.

There may be more patients and staff that are less stressed going in (to work/as a patient) and hopefully leaving less stressed. This is something that should have been dealt with years ago and it's about time someone did something. There's already enough extra/added stress to everyone's plate, and they don't need to worry about the next unexpected expense on their bank account.

We just had to replace a radiator $200+ in Feb., everyone has a budget and this driveway needs some TLC/correction, even if you have to place/secure a board over it temporarily. After 5 years, something NEEDS to be done!.

The Chronic Care Management team is like a warm hug. I lost my Mother a few years ago. She would call and check on me to make sure I was keeping up with life. Like Doctors appointments and eating and helping others. So, it's very reassuring to get a call from CCM to make sure I'm doing the things I need to do to take care of me. The CCM team are so kind, caring and nurturing.

They remind me to take care of me. Sometimes we need a reminder to give ourselves the attention we need. It helps me so much! I forget everything. I just need a friendly reminder to focus on my well being. Thank you so much! This program is brilliant.

The staff and neurologist are GREAT; wait times are AWFUL. Waits regularly exceed one hour, in a noisy, bright lobby, hell for migraineurs. They provide help with insurance and patient assistance programs for expensive treatments or medications.

IF YOU'RE MILITARY, DO NOT GO HERE! The call center clerk was rude and not helpful at all. I told her I had a referral and she rudely replied, "I can't make an appointment unless you're referral is fax to this office!" Then she hung up on me. Call her again and told her it is fax to her and she responds, "scheduling does that!" No warning no nothing just transfers me and I get welcomed by an automatic voice machine. Ms. Monica is going to be one of many reasons you lose business. Especially, from military so I'll be going to Pooler and seeing a Neurologist! Smdh do better!
