Beware of Dr. Sunil Thanker. I visited Dr. Sunil Thaker for my shoulder pain. All he did was couple of x-rays of my shoulder and told me to do sleeper stretch few times a day for few weeks. It was a minor injury caused during my workouts. He spent a maximum of five minutes with me. But for my surprise, when I got the bill they included two extra procedures which they did not perform on me. When I called them the doctor said he did perform those extra procedures. The doctor is very fraudulent. Beware.

Dr. Fahoury has a unique manner; professional, highly knowledgeable and very caring. His treatment of me as a person calmed any fears and his treatment of my ankle fracture has allowed me to progress more rapidly than expected. Thank you for this opportunity to share my thoughts on Dr. Fahoury.

Horrific. They told me Aetna was in network when they were NOT until 6 months later. Clearly multiple people at the front desk are incompetent or are being told to lie to patients in order to make more money. It's horrible how sick people are taken advantage of. When I called to explain of course I was given the "I don't know who you spoke to." Really disappointing when you trust doctors to do no harm. Almost $1000 later. Avoid this office at all costs.

The quality of care in acupuncture with Laura Rook has decreased particularly since Babs, the previous massage therapist left. Laura and Mary just do not appear or sound happy with what they are doing. Several times they cancel day of or left early before my husband's appointment for personal reasons that they can easily have done on a Tuesday when they are off.

Many times Mary has expressed to me and in front of other customers about taking off random days like today (3/17) to go get a massage. Laura even expressed that Mary should of gone for a massage on her day off. The office never calls to inform the customer that either Laura, Mary or both are not going to be there. I won't return and they have lost out on 2 consistent and loyal customers.

I went for a follow up appointment with the PA Vanessa DePalma. After speaking to her for a short time she picked up on a medical issue that could have been potentially serious, and a short time later I was sent for testing. The testing proved to be negative, fortunately, and everything was OK. But Vanessa's concern for me, and her professionalism went well beyond my expectations. I thank her and Dr Charles Daknis for the upmost care that they have given to me.

I tweaked my achilles tendon running up stairs to catch a train. After ignoring it for a bit, I actually went in to have it looked at. Doctor recommended physical therapy and I did my first one today. I was brought in quickly at my appointment time and taken care of immediately. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Pretty hopeful that this will help me heal and recover quickly.

I go to Seaview for Acupuncture. There's no one better then Laura and Mary they are the perfect duo. Ever since I've been going there I have been feeling so much better. Mary has the perfect touch to ease all the pain. Not only are they great at their jobs but they are friendly, outgoing and become one of your friends. You don't feel like a client, but a friend.

They genuinely care about your well being and make it their business you feel better when you leave there. I highly recommend Seaview Acupuncture and I'm so grateful to the person that recommended me Laura and Mary.

Laura and Mary! I think I need to call them the dynamic duo! Accupuncture from Laura followed by massage therapy from Mary. They are the best team ever! I am blessed to have found these two wonderful women. Seaview orthopedics Accupuncture are lucky to have them both and we the patients are even luckier

I started physical therapy at Seaview in October 2021 after an injury incurred from bowling. I was in pain from my left hip and lower back down to my foot. It was difficult to walk, use stairs, raise my left leg and sleep comfortably. A cane was my new best friend for the first time in my life. I was assigned to therapist Toral Shah, and was immediately impressed by the way she listened to me and asked questions that helped her to clarify what the best treatment would be for me.

It's almost 5 months later, and I will finish my treatment this week. In that time, Toral has helped me to regain my flexibility and strength - enough that I no longer use a cane and have very little ( and intermittent ) pain. Every time I entered Seaview Therapy, I felt welcomed and cared for by the whole team, from the front desk to the therapist and techs, as well as the acupuncture/massage therapists. Seaview has an atmosphere of efficiency, skill, calm and caring that added to my wonderful therapy with Toral. Thank you all! Sincerely, Debby Leverett

This poor review is based ONLY on the Freehold Office. My family and I have been extremely impressed with the Barnegat, Ocean and Holmdel offices. My husband has been having extreme hip/leg pain so I called to get him an emergency appointment. We were booked an appointment with Dr. Parcells in the Freehold Office. The woman who made the appointment was very nice, but that was where nice stopped and a nightmare began.

My husband was examined, given a follow-up appointment, a prescription for a steroid and one for an MRI. After 27 hours of my pharmacy insisting that no script was called in for him, I called and left a message for Ashley. Ashley advised me that they had no record of my husband being seen in that office. I asked her how ridiculous that sounded since he had 3 documents (MRI, OT and follow-up appointment) Ashley spoke to me like I was a child.

Not once did she apologize for the inefficiency, she just kept repeating that they were looking into the matter. Hours later, when the script was called in, it was called into the incorrect CVS. My husband had even given the address of the correct store. Now we are waiting (AGAIN) for the Freehold office to contact us with the results of the MRI. After not hearing from the office yesterday, I left a message for Ashley. NO CALL BACK so far.

The Freehold Office is inefficient, inexperienced and downright sloppy. Ashley should not be dealing with patients or their families. While my husband is in severe pain, I wait for a return call. He has not slept or eaten due to the pain. and today is the last of his steroid treatment. I'm sure things will continue to get worse. There is no way to reach the office with my concerns. They do not answer their phone. Word of advice: Stay away from the Freehold Office Dawn N.

Although it was very busy when I first came in, I did not feel rushed or ignored. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Arav Shah was my therapist for my 1st visit and he is very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with, answered all my questions and was gentle. I highly recommend Seaview Orthopedic PT to family and friends.

I have been going to Seaview Orthopedic for all my therapy needs and have had the best therapists. They ensure you are comfortable while helping you recover. No matter which therapist you see, they all follow the same routine I've referred my family and friends.

After many years of severe pain in my knees and lower back, I decided to request the professional help Seaview. I was assigned to Toral Shah as my physical therapist. Toral helped me get through my pain as well as helping to determine that my knee pain was resulting from lower back problems. If my pain ever returns, I know I will request Seaview's assistance again.

I had back surgery by Dr Yalimanchili covered by workers comp. Dr Yalimanchili refused to give me a copy of my surgery report. It's now 7 months since my surgery, I'm in constant pain. I was discharged back to work. Doctor Yalimanchili is very vague, advocating for the insurance company. I don't know what he's trying to hide from me. Stay away from Seaview orthopedics. Stay away from Seaview orthopedic physical therapy also.

I had three cervical fusions last week. I had seen Dr. Daknis for pain management who is phenomenal. However, he did not perform the surgery. I have tried calling and leaving messages-at this point a total of 11- for the past two days. I have left messages on every possible voice mail. No response. In the meantime I am in major pain and am not receiving any response. After my post op I will look for another pain management physician. Not calling a post operative patient back for two days is completely unacceptable.

Very rude and unprofessional. I showed up for my appt. the Dr was not there n the staff acted like it was my fault. no apology, no attempt to reschedule. I was just told to sit n wait. after 25 minutes I asked what was going on and I was told that the Dr's were all busy to go back n sit n wait. so I left. no follow up phone call or email even after I completed thier customer survey twice. where they ask if u would like a follow up call. No call no nothing. they only want to get u into PT even after telling me it won't do much. what a disgrace.

Worst experience. First, their phone system is AWFUL. You wait almost an hour whenever you call. Second - my son was seen by Dr. Nelson. He could not diagnose my son's knee issue upon reviewing the MRI. Send me to another dr in the practice to review. So that's 2 wasted visits with Dr. Nelson. Why wasn't I scheduled directly with a knee specialist upon my advising that my son had an knee issue?

Go see DR. Thacker. He gives my son a brace out of a box and I later get billed for $990 for this velcro brace. INSANITY! GREED. After wearing the brace for just 2 weeks, he recommends surgery. Total of 1 month time and '000s wasted. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE. STAY AWAY AND GO ELSEWHERE. btw - I had my son's surgery done by Dr. Harnley in EB and it was the best experience and my son healed beautifully.

Dr Lenz was great with my preteen son. Excellent bedside manner and very patient answering our questions. Highly recommend him. My son specifically requested Dr Lenz for his follow up appt in a few weeks. So he's parent and son approved.

Today Monday August 16, 2021 I waited for an hour on the phone in the "queue" trying to schedule a follow up appointment to review my MRI results. I started out as #24 in the queue and made it all the way down to #1 but after 20 more minutes NO ONE ever picked up. So I finally hung up! I tried to make the appointment online as per their suggestion but the link did not work!. What kind of service is this? THIS IS a business! You are supposed to provide SERVICE for people in a timely fashion.

Worst staff ever. Sick dying dementia and Alzheimer's mother and continuously month after month go to through same nonsense of calling in refill week in advance and still have to call on last day to get emergency refill from on call doctor if that even works. Whoever is in charge of refills I'd never available to speak to just get voicemail and never hear back from her.

Have to play track the Doctor down myself by calling multiple front desk of all clinics to find him and make the person understand I need to speak to him ASAP. Took till 2 minutes before closing to call in prescription last month when started calling days in advance and every hour on the hour. Unacceptable. Just do your job or quit. I won't put name because I'm not like that but this place is ridiculous.

The doctor is amazing. Staff not so much. Have been hung up on, disregarded, passed around playing phone tag. You all should be disgusted you consider yourself medical professionals. Have even had pharmacist say word for word "oh it's that staff doubt you will get help anytime soon. Doctors are amazing but staff to put it in nice way is not attentive to needs of patients" the pharmacy saying that should let doctors know have an issue and might want to think of retraining or letting people who can't or will not do job go.

I went to see Dr. Mittman for knee pain (arthritis) and the man is just a teddy bear. He made me feel comfortable explained everything to me in a way that I could understand it and the shot didn't hurt very much all. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. Shout out to Nick for being such a sweetie.

I went to physical therapy at barnegat location on September 15 2020 for physical therapy after I finished doing the physical therapy exercises. I was walking and the physical therapist was massage. My lower back and it was hearting and I told him it was hearting.and he said he was massaging my disc back in. When he was finished I couldn't stand on my legs they were num.i couldn't stand up on own I had to be taken out of there by an ambulance to the emergency room at the hospital. And the rest is history.

Physician, Dr. Junkin, was great however, it is unfortunate he does not have staff that make the patient a priority. It is a large practice and they are clearly too busy and not able to adequately support their patients in a timely fashion. My husband was in excruciating pain and called the practice at 8:30 a.m. to speak to someone with no response.

We continuously called and were forced to leave messages. Additionally, I called to speak to a manager. I was finally able to get someone on the phone and she told me someone would call my husband back as soon as possible. Two hours later someone called. He waited a total of 4 hours until he received a response. There was no sense of urgency despite repeatedly expressing the amount of pain he was in. Very disappointed in their level of service.

I visited the Holmdel office and saw Dr. Greaves for my scaitica and hip issues. I explained to him that I lack sleep bc of the pain doesn't allow me to get comfortable. Right away he offered epidural injections, which I rejected. His response was You're contradicting yourself, do you want to get better or not? Wow, I was able to leave with a script for pt. AND HE NEVER EVER MENTIONED THAT i HAD SPINAL STENOSIS! Meanwhile i'm doing Yoga, a no -no for stenosis.

Dr Spagnuola was so unprofessional and refused to see me until I went to their in house phsyical therapy for 3 months (and hundreds of dollars) even after I told him I tried PT somewhere else. After that he essentially said there's nothing he could do and I didn't need PT, and that there's nothing he could do. Huge waste of money and scam, he spent maybe 3 minutes working with me each time and was incredibly rude.

This review is for their new orthopedic DR COZZARELLI. Do not let him touch you. he did a total hip replacement on me back in May amd had to have it redone, he put both devices in wrong. had to go to Hospital for Special Surgery to the only one dr that was capable of fixing his botched surgery who doesn't take insurance. $20,000 later, screws in my hip, a fractured femur to get the stem, and out of work for a year was my end result! and a scar that looks like shit!

If I could give them a zero, I would. I had a real issue with billing and their staff. Unfortunately, my husband did not realize that "submitting the bill to your insurance" is NOT the same as "we accept your insurance." I made arrangements for payments to be made monthly through my debit card. The last payment was taken March 16th. I thought because of Covid that their offices were closed, but they were not.

Instead of leaving me a message, or sending me a letter that there was an issue with my card (I had received a new card with a new expiration date), they sent my account to collections. After NINE phone calls, I finally received a call back. The representative claimed they called twice to let me know there was a problem with the card (I found zero evidence on our phones or phone bills of a missed call).

I was told that there is nothing they can do because the account is no longer in their hands. ps.the doctor was no help. We were charged for orthovisc injections and office visits to the tune of over $5,000, when the doctor should have only recommended knee replacement. Do yourself a favor and go to the Hospital for Special Surgery!

Very very bad experience at the Middletown office. Don't go there. I took my sister there after a tiring day in the ER. Condecending pain management doctor and rude staff. The facilities parking situation is a joke, one, yes one handicap parking spot and no normal sized ramp! After trying to manuver to get her in with her walker we were greeted by being yelled at by the receptionist.

It was our first time there and we did not know we had to sit in our car prior to entering. No one told us when we made the appointment. She was in such tremendous pain and we travelled to get there. When we asked the pain management guy if she would be able to get an epidural fairly soon since her insurance does not require authorization his answer was and I quote "That's not going to happen" Don't go there unless you want a condecending additude with physical therapy and surgery immediately shoved down your throat. What a joke.

Update After being treated by well regarded MDs in North Jersey/NYC I was forced to come back. I visited Dr. Mayer's for pain management. Dr Mayer spent no time asking me how I was, or reviewing any medical history. He immediately accused me of being a "drug addict" and that I was only going to him to get "my drugs". Well it turns out he was comfortable enough with me and wrote me a prescription for DOUBLE the dose of the medication that I was on before, I only found out when the pharmacy alerted me.

I called the office to have it corrected and they called in a new script. Unfortunately someone wasn't paying any attention and again they sent in the wrong prescription. I was able to get all of this corrected within the day. If you're comfortable with that treatment then Dr. Mayer's is the doc for you! Thankfully I am able to return to my MDs up north and not have to deal with how horrifically they treat their patients, we are customers and they are providing a terrible service. Take your time and money elsewhere.

I saw dr Nguyen before covid. I went to the Monroe location. Paid my copay. When I met the doctor he asked if I had my films on cd. I said no but I have the report. He said well then I can't see you. I said so you won't examine me or read the report. He said no. He does not go by the Radiologist report. (As if they are so beneath him ). So he said make a appointment to come back when I have the cds.

I walk up to the front desk and tell them and ask for my copay back. They said no but they would leave a message for the office manager and she would call me back. I explained what he said and I saw him for about 30 seconds. She said she was sorry but I needed to wait for office mgr to call me. Two days later I receive a call from office manager who said they cannot refund my copay because I saw the doctor. I'm sorry but what kind of scam is this place running. Just a awful experience would never go back there again.

Had initial visits with Dr. Chern for rotator cuff issue. Took PT but did't work so to cortisone shot. Still no luck but pain inside shoulder blade plus numbness in upper arm and two finger s persisted. He said I should see head& spine doctor as it was not rotator cuff. I was given an appointment with Dr Praveen Yalamanchili. He tookX-ray and brief exam and instructed me to get an MRI. Made appointment with local imaging center and had MRI on 10/16/19 Report sent to Dr. Yalamanchili the next day.

The report showed metastatic lung cancer. DR NEVER called me with these results. Instead he sent Pain management on 10/28/19 to a very nice Dr Greaves who had the misfortune of having to notify me of my condition. The 10 day delay in giving me the diagnosis caused me to suffer superior.vena cava syndrome for which I was hospitalized at Sloan Kettering Medical Center.

We have reached out to Dr. Yalamanchili's office but they have the courtesy to return my call. Return appointment was about 10 days later unfortunately in th interim DrYalamanchili

A complete waste of time. I went there today to see an orthopedic doctor because I was previously diagnosed with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and several pinched nerves. I have pain in both my lower & center spine as well as my neck. X-rays were taken but no physical examination was done. The doctor could care less what I was telling him & had not read any of paperwork I have filled out or reports I had supplied.

He just wanted to start me on physical therapy something I've already done and epidural shots for my lower back. When I asked him what about my neck in the center of my back his response was " you said your lower back hurts the most" so we'll deal with that. I asked about further testing for my neck and center spine to find out what was going on and causing the pain in those areas, he said "Do you want me to do an MRI" who is the doctor here. I left & decided to go up north and find a more qualified team of orthopedic doctors.

I set a 10 am appointment to see one of the physicians whom I previously had seen. The office called me to ask if I could come in for the first appointment of the morning at 8 am. I arrived at 8 am. At 8:45, I was still waiting. I told them to let the doctor know I was leaving, filled out the form to receive my medical records and left. Physicians have to learn to be as respectful of our time, and our busy schedules, as we need to be of theirs.

I was treated for Rotator cuff tears in my right shoulder and had to be operated on when 2 tendons completely tore off. Loving sports and playing softball I was very scared and heard about from my cousin all the pain he had after surgery. But I was not only happy that I had the surgery but had no pain and complete 360 movement back after being treated by Dr. Vasen!
