I dealt with Bryan Cox through Seven Oaks for Biote Pellets, it was not a great experience. My first visit I waited over 2 hours to be seen by him even though I had a set appointment. Then the person who inserted the pellet was not the most experienced as my pellet popped out 2 months later. I also had to wait a month before I received my progesterone pills because Acorn Wellness or the doctor dropped the ball in submitting the prescription.

Then I had another appt with Dr. Cox, again a set appt but I didn't even see him, I ended up seeing his assistant who's also the person who inserted a booster pellet as I wasn't feeling any change with the 1st pellet. She was very nice but in tooooo much of a hurry that I felt what she was doing when she was inserting the booster. This office is overwhelmed with patients and cannot handle the load, obviously.

When the 1st pellet popped out, I sent an email directly to Dr Cox, he never responded. Someone else finally called me apologizing and asking if they could do anything to make it right, by that time, I had a bad taste in my mouth about this place but she still asked if she could have Dr Cox call me. Well guess what, to this day he has not called me which says so much about how this doctor handles himself and another sign for me not to return to this place.

I did send him an email again stressing how I felt and still no call directly from him. So unprofessional! So unfortunately, I paid out a lot of money for nothing, although I am happy to say that I've already seen another doctor who is absolutely awesome and taking care of Biote Pellet hormone therapy. I make it a point to let others know about my experience at Seven Oaks/Acorn Wellness.

I love Dr. Gallagher. the actual practice though, can't recommend. I don't get answers on the portal, billing is always wrong, and front staff not friendly. I mentioned a concern during my well Women's appointment, and they decided that means they are going to bill me for an extra visit. so I get a $75 bill for a visit that's supposed to be covered. Not cool Seven Oaks. That's just poor business practice. Time to find a new office :

Yvette in scheduling is very rude. I dislike when they seem to know more about the patient's insurance then the patient themselves!

I love the doctors here but the women at the front desk are the rudest with the worst customer service skills. my first appointment as a new mom was less than kind. she couldn't even look at me and pointed at her window with a sticky note with an email written on it and huffed her breath as if i was so annoying. i have the same job i'm a receptionist at another medical facility and i can't see myself being as rude as the women at the front desk. not to mention how loud and unprofessional all the women are i could hear them gossip among themselves as if there isn't tons of women here who are here for screening, awaiting results or new mothers like myself. please retrain these unqualified women at the front. multiple reviews are negative regarding their catty rude behavior.

I can in with negative results from my last OBGYN and they took the same plus other labs on whatever they wanted costing $1000, all results still the same negative. No one has emailed me back, called back or anything and I came to the appointment with proof of the labs in the same month. They embarrassed me, stole my time and money. I waited 2 hours to be seen.

They do what they want how they want it with no regards to you as a patient. I went there twice and don't need to go a third. Take your money else where. But not here or anywhere on Rogers Rd. You will get dismissed from this location even if your issue isn't solved.

The front desk staff Anitra (sp?) is very rude-she could benefit from customer service training. Hopefully this will be addressed with her because everyone else at this practice is lovely-she is the weak link unfortunately.

I have never had a bad experience with Seven Oaks Women's Center. It's about 25 minutes away from me but I still use them because the physicians are caring and patient and they've been stellar in assisting me with every need I've had. They have a location opening up later this year that may be closer to me and I plan to continue using them going forward!

At my last appointment I unintentionally arrived an hour early for my appointment and they saw me right when I arrived! This allowed me to minimize the amount of time I was away from work and really helped with my work/life balance.

They have the worst customer service and office staff ever. They take our insurance yet won't book an appointment even though they are accepting new patients and the patient has been with them forever. They are very rude and disorganized. Tried to call the Manager Left a message. called the administrator and left a message We did get a call a back from the Ass't administrator who assured us they would correct the problem and provide training to the staff they did offer to call the patient and help them.

I did get a call back from the Assistant administrator who tried to justify the fact that they had to look through 17 pages of insurance papers to find out that the group is participating. I spoke to the clinic today and the manager did help me. she said that their first concern is the patient and that appointment was scheduled. She was very nice and we had a nice conversation about the situation and i appreciate that the problem has been rectified.

I rarely write a review, but my experience at Seven Oaks is worthy of one. Dr. Christine Delagarza, it goes without saying, is an excellent, caring and conscientious doctor and I feel lucky to be under her care; however, today I saw the PA at Westover Hills, Jennifer Meyer. She was so impressive! She was friendly, interested, knowledgeable, and caring with an obvious desire to do the best job possible.

Most importantly, although I knew she had a packed schedule, she did not appear rushed. Kudos to Seven Oaks for recognizing the importance of hiring an effective and professional PA and keep up the great work, Jennifer!

My doctor there has rules set in stone. No alternatives to tests. So I'm changing doctors in the middle of my pregnancy. Never had this issue in other states but here. Would not recommend this practice for pregnancy. Left crying. No compassion.

I am so so pleased with the professionalism of this facility and really happy about the OB I've chosen to deliver my baby! He's respectful, very experienced, and I look forward to my prenatal visits!

I checked in for my appointment and waited almost 2 hours in the waiting room while other patients were coming in after me and getting called back. After waiting 2 hours, I asked the receptionist when I would be seen and it turns out the other receptionist didn't check me in properly even though I gave her my ID and insurance. This receptionist was very nice and offered to make sure I got seen today, but I will be looking for another doctor. This was an extremely frustrating experience and a complete waste of time. This office is poorly managed and it does not seem like they value their patients.

Terrible service. If you can go somewhere else, please do. If you must go to this place and get assigned to a nurse named "Jo Ann, " please ask for a reassignment. I was pregnant and had a blighted ovum. Jo Ann was responsible for my file. At no point did she keep me updated about my HCG level tests (I always had to follow up), and even worse, she was also untimely in asking me to do serial HCG level testing.

Proper serial testing would have been to inform me to test on Friday; she waited until Monday afternoon and told me to head in ASAP. I basically had to drop everything on a work day to get testing done because Jo Ann couldn't stay on top of my file. For someone going through a very difficult time, she lacked empathy and diligence, which is not acceptable. Finally, when I went to ask for a copy of my HCG level blood tests, the receptionist refused to give me a copy of my blood tests.

They cited the portal but couldn't give me instructions on how to access it. Also, guess what - Jo Ann didn't release the results right away. I was then asked to complete a Release of Records Form for my results. It is now May. This took place in February; I still don't have results. I just went to a different clinic and different doctor, who provided great service.

Horrible! Waited over an hour in exam room. Thought they had forgot about me! They finally told me Dr. Cox was running late and did I want to see PA. Yes. She was with me in exam room for all of about 5 minutes. They want to charge patients if they are 15 minutes late. Well, I want to charge them for making me wait so long and then not seeing Dr. Cox. Had scheduled appointment almost 3 months ago.

I have been a patient for a couple of years now and never once have I had a bad experience. I had an appointment today with Brooke Naegele and she answered every question I had, listened to my concerns and everything I had to say. Very compassionate! Thank You!

Very dissatisfied with their staff. I had been going to Westover Hills when Dr Young was as still there and left when she left. Decided to come back and the staff is horrible at the front desk. Everyone is very rude and unprofessional. They do not make you feel welcome and I saw the girls being rude to other patients as well. This happened a few months back and so I decided to schedule at their medical center location.

Found out the staff at Westover Hills had been replaced, what a relief. Medical center was very friendly and I was satisfied. However, today I call to reschedule an appointment and spoke with Priscilla and she was extreme rude and unprofessional. She went on about it I reschedule one more time, mind you this is the only second time I have had to reschedule that it would look poorly on my end and they may not be able to service me in the future.

I though that was nonsense and never have heard that before. How can I go in if I started my menstrual cycle and was having my annual check up. You guys have great doctors but very poor staff.

My wife was unfortunately recommended this place from the insurance company. The doctors are pretty selfish and don't really remember much. The receptionist is awful and doesn't ask for any ID before letting patients into the elevator yet they won't let the husband of the wife into the elevator. It's pretty's shitty how they have this practice set up.

They wouldn't even let me go upstairs to pay for my wife's ultra sound. Instead, even though I'm downstairs and they took my temperature, still didn't let me go up with my wife

The triage nurse for Dr. Annaliese Kistler, Denise really needs to work on her phone etiquette. I have been holding my tongue for a while but this phone call was the last straw. She always sounds like I am a bother to her. She never sounds happy to help me. For instance, I had questions regarding my thyroid. She didn't sound too happy to talk to me to begin with.

Once I started asking questions she made me feel really dumb. I always think maybe she just isn't having a good day but it seems like every time I call, which is NOT OFTEN she is in a terrible mood. If it wasn't for Dr. Kistler I would have switched to a different doctor by now.

After a bad experience with another practice, and the doctor there being dismissive of my concerns, I decided to seek a second opinion for possible PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome) and ovarian cysts. I initially wanted to meet with Dr. Heck, but she was booked until August, so I met with Dr. Harle. He and the assistant asked me several questions regarding my symptoms (weight, irregular cycles, acne, unwanted hair growth).

He decided to do lab work to test my hormones levels (I later found out the lab ordered didn't include testing my luteinizing hormone levels) and do a follow-up appointment for the lab and ultrasound results, along with handing me a pamphlet on Biote, a hormonal pellet. I declined on more information about Biote. On my follow-up appointment, I was asked questions again about symptoms by his assistant. Unbeknownst to me, his assistant had signed me up as a new patient for Biote, and did not place it in my chart.

When Dr. Harle came in he said that my lab work was normal and my ultrasound was described by Dr. Harle as "beautiful", which in the case of the ultrasound and lab were lies, which I discovered through my medical records, and having blood-work done at another doctor, without being on birth control for several months. The lab work showed up "normal" due to being on birth control, and he did not mention that I had to be off the birth control for several months for the lab work to be precise.

The ultrasound showed several follicles around the border of my ovaries, My ovaries were enlarged, another feature associated with PCOS, in addition, I had two cysts that ruptured. He gave prescriptions for the unwanted hair and then provided me with a pamphlet and paperwork for Biote (the business is in the same building as Seven Oaks location on Louis Pasteur).

When I asked a question through the patient portal to him, his nurse responded for me to look at the medical records. Don't bother coming seeing him if you have concerns about PCOS or other hormonal issues. All he will do is try to promote hormonal pellets and send you on your way. Wouldn't recommend.

I've been seeing Dr. Parke Hedges at Seven Oaks for 15 years. I'm on Yelp looking for reviews of doctors because he has recently retired. I'm so surprised to see so many bad reviews of Seven Oaks and feel compelled to provide a good one. I can't say I've ever had a particularly negative experience there. Everyone I've dealt with has been pleasant enough and efficient.

I don't think I've ever waited more than mayyyybe 20 mins. I don't even know what's the longest I've ever waited because it's never been long enough to note it. It hasn't been unusual to wait maybe 10-15 mins once in the room, which granted you're in a gown and not exactly comfortable, but it's never seemed excessive to me.

Unless Dr. Hedges specifically ran a tighter ship than some of the other doctors in the practice, I'm completely surprised at the negativity. I don't know, my experience with them (at least thus far) has been good.

Insufficient in so many ways. First, they performed my test incorrectly so I had to go back a second time. Next, they coded it incorrectly so I received a huge bill from insurance for the procedure. Thirdly, they will not recode it so I am stuck with the bill. Overall the experiences at Seven Oaks over the last 16 years have been flaky at best, but this new encounter solidifies my resolve to find a better gynecologist.

At my first visit my appointment was 2 hours past my appointment time so I was there for over 3 hours. By the time I got taken back to the exam room I was so upset I was not able to ask the questions I had or get the test I needed. My second visit just like my first I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment time as they request, but after sitting there for an hour and thirty minutes I asked how much longer and was told another hour at least so I left. They could have mentioned the doctor was running a few hours behind when I checked in and given me the option to stay or leave. I will not be returning here.

Overall service has been excellent. Only on a few occasions has the wait been longer than 15 minutes. I recommend a short polite "sorry for the wait" if it takes longer than 10 minutes. I worked for years in customer service and I received some one star reviews for not being friendly. Time is money for most of us.

I scheduled an appointment for 2:50 and arrived a few minutes early. I checked in, and then sat and watched while people who came in after me for called back. Finally, after I had been waiting for 40 minutes, I asked them how much longer it would be. I was told they had no idea, and there were 2 patients in front of me. It could be another 10 minutes, half an hour, or an hour. It's no wonder I was waiting so long if they are that bad at estimating the time office visits take.

I don't know how they stay in business when they are that incompetent. Neither me nor my daughter's will be going here anymore, and I will be sure to let all my family and friends know about my experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kistlers since 2012. She is kind, patient, and always answers all my questions. She always went above and beyond on providing care through my pregnancy and we happened to be pregnant at the same time which was a fun experience. I always try to make my appointments at the West Over Hills location, the appointments are always fast, and Nurse Becky is great!

If you expect a compassionate & understanding PA or Dr. then this is not the place. I know I'm not a pregnant cash cow but we have been TTC and have received zero support/guidance from this office. I'm Dr. Kistler's patient but have yet to actually meet or even speak to her which should have been a sign. That wouldn't be such an issue if her PA, Dara, was pleasant to deal with.she's not.

She has difficulty following up and when you call for an update the attitude in return is awful. It's a disheartening feeling to actually be thankful that I'm not pregnant right now but dealing with this office has been THAT stressful. I have a pregnant friend that recommended this office who has also decided to find a new doctor for similar reasons to mine. I'll be seeing 2 new doctors elsewhere over the next week and will update this review with a referral once I've found an office that invests time and concern in both pregnant and non pregnant patients. UPDATE: Acacia OB/GYN is where I'll be going from now on.

A WORLD of difference. Minimal wait time and the staff/doctors are educated, friendly & amazing. I was listened to patiently by the doctor and educated thoroughly on all the topics I had questions about without ever feeling rushed. I can't wait for them to guide me through pregnancy and delivery.

Great, professional office and staff. I prefer the Westover Hills location, but Medical Center is great as well. Occasionally, we had to wait from 10-30 minutes past our appointment time to see the doctor, but Dr. Heck is worth the wait. She is an amazing, knowledgeable and caring physician. I will continue to see her for future pregnancies and well care as long as she is practicing.

I go to Dr. Elizabeth DeLa Garza, and she is AMAZING. She is the Doctor that you pray for. The one who takes time to be with her patient. She is caring, and genuine. I had a really bad experience before finding her and I can honestly say I will never change Doctors. She makes you feel comfortable, does NOT judge, and supports what is best for YOU. She knows my personal opinion on issues, as well as beliefs and she has worked with me to achieve them for my health. Adore her.

If I could do a 0 star I would, be careful when going in for a wellness and answering any questions the Doctor may ask you. I answered one question which turned my visit into two Dr visits, so now I'm being billed for a wellness checkup plus a routine visit for answering one simple question the Dr asked me. So how are you feeling today, bam that turned my visit into two billings, a routine exam and a wellness check, called them up and I was informed that the Dr. doesn't need to inform his/her patients that that one question you answer will be billed as a routine visit plus the wellness visit.

Very disappointed this practice, I've never had this happen to me, this is the first and last time I pay Seven Oaks Women a visit! FYI this is the Seven Oaks Women's Center in the Medical Center area in San Antonio, I wouldn't doubt it if the other locations in San Antonio are just as bad, people are not aware that by answering one simple question the Dr. will end up with more money in his/her pocket, as in the end just like me I'm forced to pay them for answering one simple questions.

I was a bit hesitant to go to a new doctor since moving to the area last year, but Dr. Christine De la Garza has been wonderful. She is genuine, knowledgeable, and kind. I have had to take my children to a few appointments and she has been great with them, taking the time to talk to them. There is sometimes a bit of a wait with this practice, but not usually with this location.

I much prefer going here than the Medical Center. Everything from my first appointment, delivery via C-Section, and follow up appointments have all gone well. Would happily recommend.

Best experience I could have had. This was my first time at this clinic and my first time getting a pap so I was very nervous about how my visit was going to go overall but the staff was great and friendly and made me feel comfortable. It was a very mellow and clean environment which I really appreciated and I did not have to wait very long at all to be seen.

The best part was my experience with my nurse practitioner Mary! She was so kind and made conversation and explained procedures to me thoroughly to make me more comfortable and I was very thankful that she was the one who helped me that day. I will defiantly be coming here from now on!
