Services
Dr. Rinde is the Naturopathic Physician at Sound integrative Health and has been serving the Seattle community since 2006. Ever since I was a young child, I was curious in the way things works, how puzzles fit together, nature, health, and observing patterns in nature. It makes sense that I eventually found may way into a holistic medicine profession.
Dr. Rinde specializes in restoring balance between digestive health, metabolic health, and mental health. This approach is informally called naturopathic gastroenterology. Over the course of his career, he has seen how good gut function leads to a balanced metabolism and better mental health. He will work in conjunction with your MD gastroenterologist to provide integrative care for inflammatory bowel disease (e.g., Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis).Dr. Rinde sometimes uses old- fashioned medicine but also sophisticated approaches like microbiome testing and balancing.
Naturopathic medicine guides people in the restoration of health through a holistic perspective: Naturopathic doctors (NDs) strive to address the cause, rather than the symptoms, of health issues, and aim to restore health through facilitating the body's innate healing process. In this way, NDs differ from conventional doctors, but when necessary, conventional approaches for evaluation and treatment, including physical exams, lab work, imaging, and appropriate conventional medications, can be incorporated to give you the most effective treatment plan.
Naturopathic gastroenterology consists of a holistic approach to digestive and gastrointestinal disorders. The digestive tract is the main interface between the environment (the outside world) and the inside world (your body). Also, there is an agent living in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) called the "microbiome, " which helps mediate the relationship between the outside world and inside world.

Dr Rinde has been very helpful to help treat pain and explain how it was caused and what I can to to help remedy it. After seeing several other Doctors and Specialists, Rinde researched my existing bloodwork and ordered a few additional tests. He took a very personal approach to treating me and was able to see me with very short notice on a couple occasions.
