I have a good experience with Dr Ly and staff. At first, I was hesitant seeing an Orthopedic and definitely against surgery. He was patient, straight forward with my options, let me know pros and cons with each options, answered my questions, available for a phone call if needed, let me come back with significant other, was not pushy into surgery and when I finally made the decision to have surgery (months later).

I don't regret it! The surgery center is cleaner and better than hospital. The staff there were top notch. Highly recommend. My significant other and I are happy with Dr. Ly. I had surgery April 2017.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor's office. The office staff is awful. I had a 9:30 am new patient appt with Dr Ly. I had them email me the new patient paperwork so I could fill it out ahead of time. I got the email. Each time I tried to log in to their portal, I got a message that it was under maintenance and to try back later. After several attempts throughout the day, I called the office.

The receptionist told me that the site was down, so I would need to come in at 8:30 am. 1 hour before my appt to fill out the paperwork. I asked if I could have a later appt. She snapped at me and said, "No! There are no other appts available! You MUST be here at 8:30 am for your 9:30 am appt"! I thought, "okay, SHE'S having a bad day" and I agreed to be there at 8:30 am.

The next day I got to their office at 8:30 am, signed in, and gave the receptionist my ID. The receptionist asked me, "What time did they tell you to be here?" I replied, "8:30 am to fill out my paperwork before my 9:30 am appt." She shook her head no at me. She then conferred with another staff woman. That woman walked into another room for a couple minutes, returned, and told me, "Your appt is at 10:30 am." I explained to them my conversation with the receptionist the day before and how insistent she was that my appt was at 9:30 am and that I must be there at 8:30 am.

The women just stared blankly at me and one said, "Well the doctor won't even be here until 10 am." Another one asked if I would like to start filling out my paperwork. I replied, "No, I can not wait 2 hours to see the doctor." Again, they just stared blankly at me. I asked for my ID back and told them to cancel my appt. If they can not keep my first appt straight, then they must be a disaster. I am so glad I dodged that bullet. Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor's office.
