Services
In 2006, a group of local physicians in the area opened Southern New Mexico Surgery Center, an outpatient surgery center, to provide patients an alternative choice for surgical intervention. This group of physicians recognized that top quality one-day surgery can be delivered in a cost effective manner, away from a hospital setting in a modern, convenient facility.
Southern New Mexico Surgery Center, LLC will provide complete perioperative services for operative and other invasive procedures, including the immediate postoperative phase, to all patients without discrimination. The care provided is not limited to surgical intervention, but also embraces the psychological, social and spiritual dimensions of the patients and their families.
You will have an opportunity to meet your surgeon prior to your procedure and ask additional questions regarding your procedure. Credentials of your health care providers are available upon request. A written request should be submitted to the Facility Administrator. Medical Passports are secure, online patient-controlled accounts that provide medical history information.
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, also known as AAAHC or the Accreditation Association, is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1979. AAAHC accreditation is awarded to organizations that are found to be in compliance with the Accreditation Association standards. The Accreditation Association currently accredits over 4,600 organizations in a wide variety of ambulatory health care settings, including ambulatory and surgery centers, managed care organizations, as well as Indian and student health centers, among others.
