Dr. Drinkard came to my mother's room at THR Alliance to discuss her initial labs. My mom was adamant about not wanting any testing done or any more lab work to be done. This was overheard by the nurses who cancelled the labs but Dr Drinkard put them back in even though my mom was of sound mind and body and stated multiple times to him NO!. He went ahead and diagnosed her with CLL even though she had a diagnosis of AML.

He told her it was chronic and she could live for years. Less than 60days later she died of a Very aggressive TCell Leukemia. I am a Hospice and Palliative Nurse and every patient has a right to determine their course of treatment or choose not to test/diagnose. She was 85 with debilitating diseases that would rule her out for treatment of any type.

I'm going to throw this horrible review right next to the others. This man has no bedside manner, doesn't listen, won't give you the time you need in appointments, and is down right rude.run, and go elsewhere

I've never been treated with such disrespect and poorly by a doctor in my life. The office staff was great and they corrected things and connected me to another provider. I waited over an hour to see Dr. Drinkard with an early morning appointment he spent less than five minutes with me and then when I told his staff like I still have some questions he came back and I asked one question and he looked at me and said I have to go now have a good day.

I'm a cash pay patient but pay for all visit and labs and all that at the time of the appointment and all he told me was I need to get insurance and when can I get it and come back when I do; there was no treatment provided. One of the other doctors in the practice heard about what happened and had his nurse call me about 7 minutes after leaving and they had me come back so he could treat me properly.

Office staff is very concerning and helpful and great as was the other doctor and his staff. Drinkard treats you lower than dirt, I'm self-employed I choose not to have insurance-But I guess my cash isn't good enough for him. I was referred to him by a doctor and three other patients I was extremely disappointed. At the end of the day office staff resolved everything and the treatment course was developed.

I even asked a few basic questions which I knew the answer to and he goes I'm not the blood doctor talk to your PCP. If Drinkard reads this, I'm sure my opinion doesn't matter- but you really should treat people better. I'm a healthcare provider myself and self-employed so I choose not to have insurance but you are not better than anybody.

RUN DON'T WALK! I was referred to see an Oncologist for a blood disorder due to my pregnancy. I gave them info to request my previous records regarding my diagnosis from my Ga Dr. who'd been monitoring it for over a decade. I went for my first appointment he didn't even get my records collected. Requested a blood draw, did my follow up consultation still didn't give a precise answer said to repeat as he didn't think I had to disease at all.

After he just said that pregnancy could sway the results (BUT how did he know if he didn't bother to collect my old records reflecting a correct diagnosis previously) DId another blood draw then another consultation and still didn't want to give an answer said he wanted to do labs a third time. I consulted with my Ga Dr. free of charge who reviewed Dr. Drinkards records and he stated I did indeed still have it. Dr. Drinkard is a fraud who likes to milk patients.

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE! This practice is full of scam artists that probably falsely diagnose patients in order to create scare to collect more money from insurance and patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Drinkard for 3 years, He is one of the most compassionate and competent doctors I have encountered. He always takes the time to listen and answer all my questions. I never feel rushed and I am confident in his decisions regarding my health and treatment options. His staff is also kind and attentive. I highly recommend Dr. Drinkars and his staff

Terrible oncologist! I was referred because of an mri that was suspect. The doctor wasn't informative at all. I had the bone scan and reviewed with results prior to my scheduled appointment with the help of a radiologist. There was no cancer evident so I was going to cancel my follow up appointment. Dr. Drinkard called me and tried to use manipulation tactics to get me to come in so they could bill me.

I asked him point blank "could it be cancer" and he said nothing other than "you should come in". My diagnostics had no flags for cancer, nothing in blood or bone scan yet he couldn't even provide ethical advise. Terrible bedside manner. Stay away from this terrible physician.
