Before your upcoming visit to see your eye doctor, learn about who we are and the services we offer. At our eight Bay Area eye care clinics, we have both medical eye doctors and doctors of optometry. Our medical eye doctors treat diseases like glaucoma and cataracts, perform cosmetic eye surgery and corrective vision surgery, and provide advanced medical care for eye and vision health.
If you have cataracts, you may or may not know the symptoms. Individuals with cataracts often experience blurry or faded vision and difficulty reading or driving at night. If your cataract is small, you may not have any symptoms. Cataracts can develop as you age or as the result of an eye injury. Certain eye diseases and chronic conditions, like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes, can increase your risk of developing cataracts. Our cataract surgeons will perform an eye exam to determine the best way to treat your cataracts.
A clear tissue which makes up the outer surface of the eyes is called the cornea. All of the light you see passes through the cornea, which bends the light into the eye, focusing it on the retina. If the cornea is diseased, scarred, or incorrectly shaped, it can lead to visual acuity problems, loss of clarity, and even loss of eyesight.
Here at Spectrum Eye Physicians, we don't just provide advanced medical treatment for eye diseases - we also perform the routine (but critical) eye exams necessary for uncovering such problems as early as possible. This office is very efficient and professional. I was called in at my scheduled appointment time with the Optometrist I've seen for years! She reviewed my health history and efficiently completed the eye exam and prescription. She walked me over to the eye glass area to pay for my contacts and shop for new eye glasses. The employee was experienced and very helpful with the selection process.
She then walked me over to schedule a follow-up appointment. I will continue to go to this Spectrum branch for its efficiency, personable/skilled doctor, professional staff, outstanding eye glass selection and help!

I just got two new glasses this morning. Stephanie spent a lot of time to make adjustments to ensure the best vision for me, while to wear it with comfort. I particularly like the bifocal glass which provides very good vision while I am driving, and need to check Tesla screen once in a while, with clarity. Thanks to Dr. Leeanna Nguyen for excellent job in prescription the new glasses and thanks to Stephanie for patient work.
They both deserve 5 stars. ------last review from 2 years ago------ Visited on past Wednesday with very good experience. Dr. Leeanna Nguyen was very professional, did a thorough and quick check and compared to my last check results item by item, which was performed 3 years ago. She made all possible recommendations and let me to choose what works the best. The frontdesk was friendly and welcoming. It's really a nice experience.

This was my first visit with Dr. Yohko Murakami. Due to what I considered an emergency, my primary Ophthalologist set up an appointment with Dr. Murakami to see me in an hour. I appreciate her willingness to see me on such short notice. She was very pleasant, professional and a good listener. Surgery was scheduled to follow in 5 days. Thank you Dr. Murakami. God bless.

Came in to this location to see Dr. Mastman As I had something in my eye. He numbed my eye and was able to quickly remove the foreign object from my eye. He did give me a stern look when I told him that I waited 2 days to go in C; Long story short, Dr. Mastman took me in on a moment's notice and took really good care of me! 10 stars! The office is also very nice on the inside with lots of seating

My family and I have been a customer here for over 3 years. We have consistently getting excellent care from my optometrist Dr. Leeanna Nguyen. She is a very professional and knowledgeable. She is attentive, always takes the time to answer all my questions and I never felt rushed out of the office. My 7 year old daughter needed glasses recently and Dr. Nguyen clarified everything effectively to me, and even to my little one and made her feel good about wearing glasses.
The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Stephanie and Natalie offer great customer service and they are experts in helping you choosing the right frames. Our experience at Spectrum has been great and I highly recommend this eyecare center to everyone.
