As a first step, the doctor will look over your medical history and examine you.

I've been going to Spine Nevada for over 12 years. This review is for the front Office Staff and Carla Cordova. I've been grateful to constantly have great help at the front desk. Mallory Goodrich seems to be in control of all aspects concerning patients. She is the friendliest and most helpful employee out in the front. Not just to me but I see a smile and greeting to all those that come in.

I ask her questions that fall no where near her job description and she never fails to get the correct people on the phone and all the answers I need. I should be asking an M.A, but with Mallory who needs to? Carla Cordova-Eduave for Dr. Hsu. There could never be enough room to review This incredible P.A. I've never had a person so dedicated to caring, listening, providing clear options, making sure her patients understand what they have going on, their options, and reassures you so well.

You leave Carla feeling like you just received the best care. She calls you on the phone and follows through. You know her patients are her priority. I can't speak for anyone else but I have 3 neighbours that also she Carla. We feel so blessed in this day and age to have someone like Carla. Alex Pipitone

Spine Nevada along with many other Dr. Offices need to rethink their phone and receptionist systems. Today I got stuck on an on ramp due to an accident. I called the office seven times to let them know I was stuck, but their system dropped me every time. When I arrived, I went up to the desk where I was greeted with a very snotty "you are 17 minutes late." Not hello or did you have trouble getting here.

It has come down to being treated like a 4 yr old. I am done with this. I will not patronize any establishment that cares so little for their customers/patients that they condone the disgusting attitude of their receptionist. This goes for phone systems that are ridiculous to navigate as well. The only reason this did not get a single star is because PA Carla Cordova-Eduave is a stellar provider. I simply will not go through the hassle of her office any longer.

In 2020 my husband had 3 separate surgeries by Dr Lynch to almost rebuild his 75yr old back that he had used and abused for years. Five months later he was back at work. He says he almost feels like he old 50 years old self. Please trust me when I says these guys really know what their doing.

Dr. Lynch would be shocked at how horrible the doctor at this place of business is. Complete ego actually calls himself a king, his surgical abilities are not being watched over and when he actually messes you up his response is to say your so cute I could **** you too. Run to a real back surgeon not here.

I'm writing for my husband who is trying to get treatment for his back. He didn't want to publicly voice his opinion because he felt it might impact his care. Their phone system in radiology works like this. You leave a message and they say they will call you back within 48 hours. If you don't have a cell phone, that would mean you have to be at home - ready to answer when they get ready to call. Actually, my husband waited more than 48 hours and called them again. He, again, had to leave a message.

This went on for another few days before he finally got someone to answer the phone to make an appointment. Then he got an e-mail message to fill out paperwork. In order to do this he, has to get another phone call with a code. Then, the system doesn't like some of his answers, freezes up and won't continue. He is told to wait 24 hours and try again. Well - duh, the appointment was today. If you back is bad and you are in pain, your head is going to be hurting too once you deal with their system.

The person that refills medications seems like she hates her job. She is always rude and condescending. Not once has she been nice and pleasant on the phone. She treats you like you're a drug addict. Dorian and Esther are fairly unkind as well. When people are in pain and having surgery kindness goes a long way. We don't like this life of pain but we are human beings and deserve to be treated as such.

I was screamed at yesterday because I didn't give the office 10 days prior notice for my refills. Well sorry, but I wasn't informed of having to give 10 days notice. I've always been compliant. I dread having to call the office for anything. If my insurance covered any other pain management providers I'd be out of there in a heart beat.

I had a great experience at Swift Urgent Care for a pinched nerve in my neck, so maybe my expectations were too high for Spine Nevada.we definitely had a communication problem. I've been going to physical therapy for low back pain for a while and my physical therapist thought it would be good to get some xrays to hopefully know a little more about the cause.

I called Spine Nevada and the person on the phone was super rude to me. OK. Maybe she was having a bad day. Anyway, she angrily says I need a referral from my doctor so I got one of those. I *thought* for the xrays I needed. I didn't learn til the end of my visit that nope, no xrays at that visit. Not only did I have to pay a big copay for a superficial exam to be told nothing I didn't already know, but they couldn't even SCHEDULE the xrays I needed.

They could make me an appointment for another expensive copay followup visit, but not the xrays - which was very hard to understand. But finally I got it. The scheduler told me that if I didn't get a call back to schedule the xrays in a week and a half(!) to call her back and make sure that I wasn't forgotten. Um. That's a long time - just to be able to schedule the appointment.

Here we are at a week and a half and you guessed it - no call. This place seems like a major cash grab operation that is not actually interested in patient care. Or maybe just not my care, since I likely do not need surgery. I won't be going back. The sunny waiting room was the best part of my visit.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Perry. He has such a positive Zen attitude and listens to you. He is very thorough when discussing treatments and will try alternatives before surgery. Great group of doctors at Spine Nevada.

After a referral from my ortho, on my first visit the doctor said "there'a nothing wrong with you". He hadn't even seen my X-rays! I now know I have severe osteoarthritis. I was dismissed and demeaned. What a horrible experience.

So I landed here by accident. Went into renown er with some back problems. And lucked out having them call Dr Perry in and having to do a emergency surgery. The staff has been great and if they are running behind they do call and let you know. I have not had any problems during my follow up appointments. My only complaint would be post surgery having to climb stairs to get to their office.

Good luck finding the place in that poorly designed part of town. Don't bother calling for directions, because reception does not know her directional prepositions & will insist it's "in front of" the Hilton. (No one puts a building in front of a hotel.) It is across the entry road to the hotel. The map they send you says, turn left on Dbl R, turn right, but not where to turn right. BTW, the entry to SN does not face Dbl R.

Nor is the photo of the building that's on the map & on line the same facility. They are located inside a bank. The entrance is on the S Meadows Prkwy side where it says SWIFT. Go upstairs. There's no sign on the door, but there is on the glass wall.

I read all these negative reviews but I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I was in a car accident and was pinned under a truck for 5 hours. I had surgery right after that. I was then Transferred back to Reno for care and rehab. I have had 4 different surgeons because they all tell me I'm too fucked up. But when I came to Spine Nevada I met Jennifer Stroshine.

After one visit I absolutely felt listened to and heard. They ordered and MRI I am severely claustrophobic and they had to sedate me to get the films. I was then refers to James Lynch and his partner Joseph Olivarez. I left that appointment needing another surgery. I was scheduled within three weeks. Coming up this last Laborday I was admitted to the hospital after thinking it was a bladder infection.

Well it wasn't they ended up doing an emergency MRI and told me that my vertebrae has collapse and was trapping my nerves and other tendons. Renown then called Dr. Lynch and he came in right away and canceled his family outing for Labor Day and came and did a 10 hour surgery. He told me that his Wife would understand. I ended up waking up with drains and tubes coming out of my back and side.

He had to put in steel rods steel plates and screws. When I woke up I was told I'm not allowed to move for 3 days. I lost complete feeling in my lower extremities they did an emergency MRI and he had to go back in and adjust the rod and he also did epidurals. Within three days I was gaining my feeling back. This office has saved my life. I now have had 11 spinal surgeries.

And this is yet to be the most informative office and walked me through everything. Jennifer Stroshine is the most amazing and listens to everything. She has a quick answer for you and gets you in pretty quick. I absolutely love that I got set up with her. These people have done nothing but amazing things for me. I would be paralyzed if it wasn't for these people. THANK YOU TO MY TEAM FROM SPINE NEVADA.

This guy is a hack. First surgery he put a obsolete clamp in my spine. Returned a year later still same problem and he said, like it was a common phrase "oh a redo". second operation said he relieved pressure in my nerves. Another year of rehab and still not any better. So I got smart wasnt about to give this guy three strikes. Found another doctor who said from mri results he drilled so many holes in my spine he had no choise but to fuse four levels.

He did and I have been better than great ever since. This guy F, d up my life, my work career, and my retirement. Not to mention the rudest asshole to ever practice medicine. My wife asked a simple question he went up one side and down the other with his hand on her chest. That was it for me. F off hack. Any attorneys out there. Ive seen him and staff attack others verbally. Piss off. Go anywhere but here.

My husband needed surgery to remove a disk and fuse two vertebrae in his neck. The office has requested the review be removed, and I don't know how to do that so I've deleted it.

Dr. Glynn is amazing! I Was referred to her by Candi at Swift after I had sever back pain. When I called to get in to get some relief for my back they got me right in. I got a few injections then was referred to Dr. Glynn. She is just amazing and has the best bed side manner. They got my epidural scheduled with in a week and I am very pleased with her level of care. Never once did she offer me pain meds for my back. I definitely would refer all my back pain friends to Spine.

Horrible. Because I'm not skinny it took me an hour after my appointment to see anyone. They had no place to place your things when you get weighed and then expected me to bend over to pick it up. Rude doctors and incompetent people in the office. Not to mention the fact that if you have a spine injury you ha e to walk Two flights of stairs. What brilliant mind thought it was a good idea to put a spine center on the second floor with only stair access?!? Never going back and I have already read the negative comments, should of did that before I took the appointment. What a joke!

They just fill people with pain pills and let them go. Rude staff. They cared at first when Amanda was there. After Amanda left they went down hill. No communication between the doctors. Went to Sierra spine and they have been so helpful!

Dr glynn was nice, brit the pa is super nice. i wish i could just rate on their personalities. i received and epidural injection it was the worst experience ever as far as pain goes, and did not work. i was referred to the neuro side. i set an appointment had to cancel due to conflicting with another appointment. i called and was told christine would call me back. i was assured my appointment was cancelled. well she called me alright, to find out why i was not at my appointment. i have called four times and left four messages and have yet to get a call back. i am now going to another doctor in san fran who is professional and his staff is 100% better than this epic s*** show.

I am a fairly new patient of Spine NV. Having put up with very sharp muscle spasms in my lower back for over a year, I decided I couldn't take it anymore. I had tried chiropractic, exercise, you name it. I had agonizing back pain in bed and spasms getting up. I was referred to Spine NV by a Dr that I have respect for. After initial xrays and initial consultation, I became a patient of Dr. Glynn. Dr Glynn was very informative and told me the sequence of treatments/procedures that she recommended. Going through the procedures, I kept getting better with each subsequent treatment.

I finished with my final procedure and as of now am pain free! I can't say enough good things about Dr Glynn and her assisting staff! They are all very friendly and professional. Thank you Dr Glynn et al. I think you are all fantastic. I will not hesitate to recommend Spine NV to everyone that I know.

This place is garbage. Long story, short. Renown Doctor sends referral to Spine Nevada for my in-laws treatment. "They will contact us in 1-2 weeks." they said. 2 weeks go by, nothing. I contact them. They claim they didn't receive a referral. Contact Renown again. They said they did. Call Spine Nevada back. They said they made a mistake and they do have the referral.

They will set up an appointment two weeks out right before my in-laws trip. 2 weeks go by, nothing. Call them. Spine Nevada said they forgot to submit claim for insurance approval. They can't do the procedure now. They submit for emergency approval. Gets denied. Insurance company said it should of been submitted weeks ago. TLDR - This place is a nightmare. Full of incompetent staff. In the end, the procedure got done but only after a former staff member pleading our case with the doctors.

I can't say enough good things and Carla. The time and attention to your care plan can't be beat. This office is truly patient focused abs they let you take the reigns and listen to the suggestions you make. Every time you walk in the staff is always friendly, smiling and genuinely enjoying their day. This speaks volumes to me.

Unfortunately, following my latest mylogram performed by the VA I was referred to Spine Nevada for further treatment. I muddled through the appointment process, which was several weeks out, no problem. I completed all the neat fancy online stuff, spent 20 minutes completing the online check in. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment as instructed to stand at an empty reception desk for 5 minutes listening to the giggling and laughing in the back, gave up and sat down in one of their ridiculously hard, cheap, metal with hardly any cushioning chairs for another 5 minutes.then finally, the check in took less then 2 minutes why was I here 30 minutes early to sit in pain on their not ergonomic chairs?

I was called back in 15 minutes to have vitals taken, then sat in a small room more similar to a jail cell than a examination room.dim lite, no music, no photos, just grey paint, and you guessed it, the same hard, painful metal chair. Moving on, after waiting almost 30 minutes, I finally came out and asked if I was going to be seen or should I come back at a more convenient time? Oh, sorry.the PA arrived about 5 minutes later to tell me that my file "was downloading slowly".wait, what?

My appointment was made over two weeks ago, and you are now just downloading my file? So, finally in another 10 minutes, he came back to tell me that all they had was my VA notes and most recent images. I have had ongoing treatment, imaging, epidurals, surgery, PT for nearly three years now. I was shown my images, and told everything I already knew, and was asked to get more images, then come back and see the DR. I am fearful that they are more concerned about the bottom line than my spine.

(Full Disclosure, this is my husband's review. He asked me to post it for him) Matthew Kimber and PT team at Spine Nevada in Reno were the best I've had over the many years of dealing with lower back issues. Recently retired and having had 2 surgeries over the past 10 years, I was scared to say the least when I injured my lower back in late May 2018 and thought a fusion surgery was in my future.

I committed to the exercises and PT sessions and saw improvement every week. After 12 weeks of hard work and an epidural shot, I'm stronger and more flexible than I've been in years and back to full activity. I continue to do the exercises and am seeing continued improvement. Thank you to Matthew Kimber, Carla Cordova and PT team for giving me the road map to a stronger lower back and an active retirement.

My rear fully kissed until I had surgery, then I was treated like a jerk because I was still in pain, the nerve of me huh? I asked before my surgery what happens to my herniated discs when I stand up for the first time, will they re-herniate when I put my weight on freshly trimmed discs? Them: "Uhhh. should be OK." Guess what I felt first time I stood up in the hospital to pee? Yeah, extreme pain and me shrinking by a few inches.

So after my follow up MRI they are all "oh, you re-herniated the discs in your spine." Excuses me, "I" did? All I did was stand up to pee. So 2nd surgery, this time I am ordered not to stand for like two days post op and I am fitted for an expensive back brace that I have to wear for two months. Post op, still pain, now I am treated like a straight up criminal and drug addict by these people and chased away. Went to Stanford University Hospital, need full fusion on both discs Spine Nevada operated on, prior surgeries by Spine Nevada has complicated this next surgery, should have never gone to Spine Nevada. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Go to a University Hospital if you need surgery.
