I was number three when they opened. Numbers one and two are gone (saw one leave, heard two leave). I sat in a room for 25 minutes waiting. I could then, and do now, hear the staff outside chatting, being social. I am still waiting to see the doctor. At least the X-ray is finished but who knows how many places in the doctor's lineup I was skipped over while that was happening. I knew in my gut I should have gone somewhere else but didn't listen. There's no 'urgency' to this place.

This hospital is shady. We have been double billed for services that we both did and DID NOT receive. When we call to dispute, we continually get the runaround and/or told the one person can't look up an account, only to find out they definitely can. Time after time we are proven correct, as charges we contest suddenly disappear, without so much as a phone call to tell us.

We have had refunds owed to us because of the over-billing, but the hospital did not contact us to begin repayment. I would not trust this hospital to give me a bandaid and charge me correctly.

I recently gave birth here in January and it was a horrible experience to say the least. Some of the nurses were nice (thats expected.) But everything else about my experience was not good. Firstly, whenever we checked in for my scheduled induction the receptionist tried to sign me in as someone else entirely. I was actually signing paperwork for a woman who was not me until I caught their mistake at the last minute, and notified her that she had the wrong information printed out for me to sign.

This was after I had already given them MY identification. Not off to a good start. Then when it was time for my husband to go get our stuff from the car. He left the room and some random woman who worked there very rudely snapped at him and told him that he needed to stop going back and forth without getting a covid test first because he had no sticker.

This was complete news to us because absolutely noone had notified us beforehand when we arrived that we were supposed to be tested first. We have no problem getting tested at all, but the attitude was uncalled for when we were initially left in the dark about what we were supposed to do to begin with. After my daughter was born we notified the staff that we would like to have an early release because we wanted to get home to our other small child and also wanted to beat the snow before it got too bad on the roads.

They told us that they could accommodate us on that, until the day we were supposed to leave they informed us that our baby had jaundice and they could not release us until we stayed another full day so they could test her billirubin levels again to make sure it was going down. I personally feel they instilled unnecessary fear into us by telling my husband and I that our baby could have brain damage if her billirubin levels got too high.

They scared us so much to the point that I was in tears. She had mild jaundice nothing more and they did not even put her on billi lights as it was not even necessary. (It resolved itself within a week of coming home.) They also guilt tripped me because I didn't schedule a pediatricians appointment 1 day earlier than I did, even though it was the earliest appointment available at her office and they already told me it didn't matter which day I scheduled it for.

Not to mention the fact that even after 4 months they continue to send me hospital bills even though my insurance should have covered every cent. I called to dispute it once and they still continued to send me bills. They actually billed my BABY instead of me, sending it under her name. As if a 4 month old could be over 4 thousand dollars in debt for simply being born.

It's laughable. If you want a better hospital experience please go somewhere else. FYI - The extremely tiny brown box rooms will make you go absolutely insane after 2 and a half days and the cafeteria food is disgusting.

I see I'm far from the only one who has been mistreated by the St. Luke's billing department, which is not surprising due to how astonishingly awful they've been in handling my medical bills. Their own employees comment on their billing mistakes and refusal to accept responsibility when someone messes up on a patient's account. One employee I spoke to knows someone who is battling cancer, and had to cease care at St. Luke's due to medical billing mistreatment and mishandling.

I was shocked when I first heard that at the beginning of my troubles with their billing department, but now it seems like just another day at St. Luke's. Billing errors began (so I believed) for me, back on March 8th, when my bank offered free credit monitoring and I signed up thinking it would be good to know my score because my husband and I have been working hard for 8 years to achieve the most perfect credit reports possible so we can own our own home.

Upon viewing my credit report, I saw a delinquent account and panicked thinking my identity had been used fraudulently again, but saw it was from St. Luke's. I immediately thought that part of the account I'm currently paying off in monthly installments was mistakenly turned over to collections *again, * so I emailed St. Luke's billing department thinking that everything would be resolved right away. Turned out, they had messed up again, but it wasn't this.

Upon further investigation, the dates did not add up, nor the amount, and after months of emails, still no one at St. Luke's could figure out where this delinquent account came from. Eventually, yet another error was made with my payments in the middle of me seeking answers and removal of this mystery account on my credit report, and at that point, my emails were completely ignored for weeks.

As a last resort, I typed up a final plea for help, and sent it out to both billing department emails I had, patient care's email, and blind carbon copied the acting President/CEO. In what I and others believe to be retaliation, I received a response not only stating that the bill was from over 4 years ago, a charge that I was told by St. Luke's was "written off" by financial assistance, but that TWO more bills unknown to me totaling over $700 were dug up from some "archive" that they now want payment for too (supposedly "written off" 4+ years ago).

During the time of these charges, my husband had been unexpectedly laid off due to his work suddenly downsizing, I was (and still am) a stay-at-home mom, and the little income we had from temp jobs wasn't even enough to cover regular bills, let alone thousands in medical bills from having our baby. I did have medical insurance, a gift from the employer who laid my husband off, long enough to have our baby, so St. Luke's WAS paid quite a lot, but there apparently was still $2,000-$3,000 left for me to pay out of pocket, which a very sweet lady at St. Luke's told me I would not be responsible for due to my circumstances.

As far as I knew, that was the end of that. I was informed today that the information I received was incorrect, and they really only approved me (a broke, brand new first-time mom) for 75% financial assistance, yet I was never made aware of that. It gets even better, my husband may have been personally dragged into this as well. Back in September of 2021, we both received our Pfizer COVID-19 third doses at St. Luke's, and just days ago, he received a bill from St. Luke's saying he owes them $80 for his FREE, REGARDLESS OF INSURANCE COVERAGE, third dose of vaccine.

Isn't that nice? I didn't get a bill for my third dose in spite of having the same insurance, and getting the shot on the same day, so I wonder if they figured it would look even more retaliatory if they suddenly wanted $80 from me for my free "booster" shot after all they've already put me through. Go through SSM! I've paid off 100% of the bills I owed them for the emergency room visit that led me to my current (and paid religiously on time) St. Luke's bills. There were no billing errors or mistreatment from that visit at all!

My father was admitted through the ER on a Sunday and my mother the following Monday. Ben an ER nurse took care of both of them. I can't say enough good things about him. He was compassionate and informative. Unfortunately my mom was at the end of her life. The ER staff and doctor on duty that day were all so kind. My mom was transferred to a room to be made comfortable until she passed. Nellie/Nell took over my mom's care. She was a godsend for our family. So caring going above and beyond. If there are angels on earth she is one of them. Thank you for taking care of my mom.

I came from Oklahoma to come to this facility just to be treat by Dr. DeRosa (who is out of this world top notch). The hospital is very well laid out in a very nice community. Everything is clearly marked, and navigating around the facility is easy. The hospital itself is clean, bright, open and welcoming. The staff were nothing but extraordinary to me from the lab staff, ultrasound techs, nurses and registration.

I'm so very happy and pleased with how transparent billing was for me and very easy to understand. Everyone I encountered was so kind and patient with me. I'm so thankful for everyone at St Luke's and for the remarkable care I received. Highly recommend!

I've delivered all four children here and my experience has been top notch 100% of the time. From first contact in the ER, to the RN's on the unit and the techs and room service- we have had a wonderful experience four times over! The staff are consistently thoughtful, warm, cheerful and thorough.

Worst L&D experience I've EVER had. Weren't thorough, disorganized, had out of date equipment, only some of the staff are friendly, even got "put out" while waiting out the recent snow event just trying to make sure the roads would be safe transporting our newborn home. Also don't expect this place to send you home with ANYTHING essential like pads, tucks, or even a pack of newborn diapers.

I asked while being rushed out of there and was made to feel like I was pathetic for even thinking they would. And the way this lady said "I mean, do you really NEED it or something?" was beyond condescending. They don't even supply a manual breast pump for those breast feeding. Please look in to Mercy or MoBap not far from here. They will take MUCH better care of you, your spouse or SO and your little one.

I give this place 4 stars because of my doctor and pharmacy. I left off the one star because of other things. Anyway. It would be very helpful to add a map of the different buildings. Where the south building is and a directory of the types of medical doctors you expect to get their profession. Where the E.R is and where to park for those visits. Where the West building is and a list of those medical doctor and professions.

A black and white photo marking buildings North, South, East, West. And list of doctors. If you have this already. Can you post a picture of it here in the photos where you listed all the other beautiful pictures. That would be a great help to the community. The ambulance took 10mins trying to find the E.R. I had to give them directions. They had to stop and call because there were no maps showing where to go. That should be priority. It would be greatly appreciated and beneficial.

I only go to St. Luke's now even though I live 45 minutes away. They have the fastest ER I've ever been in. I also had my son in this hospital. After more than 17 hours of labor I ended up needing an emergency c-section. The staff was so loving, supportive, and professional. My body has healed and my baby is happy and healthy. Have I mentioned they have a cookie lady that brings cookies to all the new moms? She's the best.

I was having some issues and decided to give this urgent care a try. I can say from the moment I walked in everyone was professional and pleasant. The nurse was very nice we talked about and laughed about our kids it was like we had known each other for years. When the doctor came in she didn't miss a beat. I appreciate the staff for being here on a Sunday evening to help people in need. Thank you so much! You all are appreciated! The folks on the front line truly ROCK!

MISDIAGNOSED! I came down with the flu in December. After spending three days in bed and unable to get into my GP for a couple days, I dropped into the St Luke's urgent care closest to my home on. Thursday. There was virtually zero wait to be placed into a exam room with a nurse who quickly read my vitals. Within 5 minutes a Nurse Practitioner came to speak with me and ran a quick flu test with a swab. 20 minutes later she returned and stated the test came back negative and I just needed to go home, rest and drink plenty of fluids.

I expressed extraordinary discomfort and asked for something for the congestion and she stated I should just continue to take OTC medication and come back if my condition worsened. Suspicious, I called my GP office the following morning for a Monday appointment. Upon seeing my GP, she in fact confirmed I had a severe case of the flu (most likely for over a week), due to being untreated had progressed to a severe case of bronchitis and potentially could be pneumonia!

She immediately prescribed a series of strong medications and brought me back two days after to ensure I didn't need to be admitted to hospital. When asking her opinion on why St Luke's Urgent care wouldn't prescribe any medication, she said it wasn't the first case of misdiagnosis she had seen from this location (just down the road). Furthermore, she stated the nurse practitioners at this location are clearly encouraged not to prescribe medication to either encourage repeat visits to increase billings, or they are afraid of the liability of issuing prescriptions.

She also stated she encouraged her patients to stay clear of this location due to the repeated misdiagnosed patients seen who had visited the Ladue Crossing St. Luke's previously! While the wait time and customer service were excellent, the misdiagnosis combined with lack of any real doctors on staff makes this St Luke's Urgent Care nothing more than a cash collecting scam.

My insurance was billed nearly $700 for a visit that yielded nothing more than placing my health at risk. I highly encourage any visitor to call ahead to ensure a REAL doctor is on staff prior to visiting.

This place is a disaster. I went there years ago until I experienced Total Access Urgent Care (Rock Hill---I have no affiliation with this group) This place should be calle "NON-URGENT" care. I begrudgingly went back there today bc I felt so bad with a sinus infection/sore throat, I went to the closest place to me. I waited an hour in the waiting room and when the woman called me up to register, she rudely said, "Why are you here?" I know we had to get to that, but it wasn't "hello, thank you for waiting.blah, blah [insert any pleasantry here]!" Before I could even give her my card she said, "it is going to be a 2 hour wait in the room." WHAT? 2 hours? I felt achey and bad enough that I went home and took a shower and now headed to a Walgreens with a take care clinic. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK. #lessonlearned

Worst service ever! For a simple sprained ankle it took them about 2 hours to see me. Plus another 2 hours to get us discharged One doctor for the entire care unit. Do not come here. Go somewhere else.

I've used this location previously and had an okay experience. It's close to my office vs an urgent care I know to be better so chose to give it a shot for suspected strep. When I arrived there were a few people in waiting room so knew it wouldn't be that fast. I could tell they all seemed annoyed so asked how long they'd been there.

They each told me an hour. After about 20 minutes they were led back to exam rooms. I wish I left immediately. Instead I waited an hour myself thinking that it was just a high volume hour in the middle of a day on a Monday. I asked how long it would be and they couldn't really estimate but could be up to an hour realistically. I left at that point and went to my first choice 3 miles away. I walked in, checked in, was assessed and out w meds within 30 minutes. Never again would I go here and will be sure to warn all to steer clear.

This place is AWESOME! The doctor diagnoses you thoroughly, the registrar was quick and kind enough to offer me snacks while I waited and the nurses are prompt and caring. They were able to alleviate a lot of my pain onsite. The doctor told me lots about muscle inflammation and causes of it. Pauley even helped me put my shoes on!

DO NOT GO TO THIS OR ANY HOSPITAL OWNED URGENT CARE unless you want to get hit with hundreds of dollars of facility and professional fees. Went for an antibiotic rx, paid my $60 copay, and a month later got my $180 addition bill (which only hospital-owned urgent care center can do). You are better off going to an independent center - try Total Access: https://totalaccessurgentcar1.reachlocal.net/?utm_source=reachlocal&utm_medium=ppc&utm_campaign=homepage more info on the predatory practices of hospital-owned outpatient offices: https://www.publicintegrity.org/2012/12/20/11978/hospital-facility-fees-boosting-medical-bills-and-not-just-hospital-care http://www.reuters.com/article/us-healthcare-costs-urgentcare-idUSBRE95A0W420130611611

I will never go to this urgent care again. I took my daughter in for a strep test because our pediatrician was closed. The nurse said the test would take 10 minutes to get the test results. 45 minutes later she was nowhere to be found. I finally talked to the person in the front desk and she said they had an urgent matter and would be with me shortly.

After waiting a while longer I asked if they could call with the results and call in a script, as I couldn't work much longer. She told me to go ahead and leave and that they would call. My husband called for the results after we got home, and they again said that the had a situation and would call in a bit. We never received a call, and when we tried calling again they were closed. Incredibly unprofessional, and a waste of our time.

Terrible experience. I took my four month old suspecting he had an ear infection (he had had one before, so I knew what to look for). The place was nearly empty, but we waited well over an hour. Both the nurse and the doctor were very patronizing and asked "Oh, is he your first?" They had me pin him against my chest to look in his ears. The doctor made a comment about how I was going to smother him.

They said there was nothing wrong with him and gave me three pages of blank discharge papers. Three days later he still seemed unwell, so I took him to the pediatrician. Turns out.he has an ear infection. The doctor at urgent care said it "was just a bunch of ear wax." Poor kid was suffering for days because they were useless. Go ANYWHERE else if you need real help.

The worst experience I've ever had in a so called urgent care situation. It took not only 20 minutes for some woman to take my insurance card and figure out a process it, but then I waited in a tiny exam room for over an hour with no warning that was going to take over an hour. I would never recommend anyone go to this place

Zero stars if that was an option. Walked in with a toddler in intense pain with an injury. Was told I would "have to wait my turn" by reception, but they were unable to give me a wait time frame. (5 min or 2 hours!?) Disgusting to make a child clearly in pain wait over a room full of sick adults. Left and went to total access urgent care and received treatment immediately. I'll never return to this urgent care.

Walked in for insect bite and was checked in right away. After vitals and questions, saw the nurse and doctor. Both very affable and professional. Unfortunately, I needed minor surgery to remove the venom and they did that quickly and sent me on the way with prescriptions for antibiotics, pain medication, and follow up information in case I needed more surgery later.

They were descriptive about what they were doing and the pain i should expect. They were also very apologetic about the pain and the nurse fixed me up rather nicely with materials I would need to manage the results. Check out was easy and quick once I found it and I was on my way in about an hour. Very happy!

LONG Wait and VERY EXPENSIVE! My son had an ear infection on Easter Sunday and so we went to urgent care to receive treatment. We spent over an hour waiting for care, in the exam room, with no way to pass the time. No books, no magazines, no TV. Doctor was nice enough for a simple exam and diagnosis. We got the bill and it was $350! Outrageous! WE will NEVER go back there again. Steer clear if you would like to save yourself some money!

I recently visited the Ladue location of St. Luke's Urgent Care. I received sub standard treatment. When I returned and politely explained my grievence, they were not extremely rude, but also unapologetic, unsympathetic, and unwilling to accept any fault or responsibility. I had a thorn under my finger nail that extended about half way up the nail.

It was not painful but I wanted to consult a professional for advice. Under the advice of the St. Luke's doc, the thorn needed to be removed. So the doc used a pair of scissors to cut my finger nail all the way up to the cuticle removing small pieces of the thorn with tweezers after each cut with the scissors. After a couple weeks, it became evident that the thorn is not only still in there, but now it is pushed all the way up to the cuticle and beyond. What's even more frustrating is that before going to St. Luke's I went to the on-site clinic provided by my employer.

At this clinic the doc explained to me that since the thorn had been in there for a day, it was likely wet and would only fragment into pieces if we attempted to remove it with tweezers. She further explained that the proper way to remove it would be to use a file to rub through the nail until the thorn was revealed, then remove it all in one piece.

I explained this to the St. Luke's doc when I saw that her tool of choice was a pair of scissors and tweezers. The St. Luke's doc shrugged off my suggestion commenced to cutting my nail with scissors so she could expose the thorn enough to grab it with a pair of tweezers. Of course when she grabbed it with the tweezers, she only got a little tiny piece of it.

So then she cut with the scissors a little more and again grabbed with the tweezers. This continued until she had cut my nail almost all the way to the cuticle. Even though the thorn was originally only half way to the cuticle. When I explained this grievence to the nurse at St. Luke's she explained that they probably didn't have the proper tools.

I suggested maybe they should have told me that before they hacked my finger with a pair of scissors. The nurse basically said, well the doc probably thought she was doing the right thing. I asked if there was any way I could have my copay back, she said no. I have befofe and after pictures, wish there was a way I could post them.

St. Luke's is a well regarded hospital, but this Urgent Care facility needs some help. It's new and relatively nice in a great location, right on the West edge of Clayton in Ladue and parking is easy. They checked me in fairly fast and it was not crowded. The problem here is that I had a pretty bad cold/flu and waited over 90 minutes in a room to see a doctor. Casual laughter could be heard among the staff and there was no sense of "Urgency." There was no one else in the waiting room and few cars in front.

The doctor gave a pretty standard diagnosis. While this is a good alternative to an ER, it took way to long for a non-busy clinic. There is also NO PHARMACY which is a great feature of places like Total Access Urgent Care. I was very disappointed by the lack of care compared to Total Access and others like that. St. Luke's needs to learn from their competition. it's about service, speed and convenience. In this case, I rate them low on all three.
