I got an eye exam done last year during a really busy time at my job. I wasn't able to get child care for my appointment so I brought along my toddler. The assistant that did my initial tests before I saw the doctor was WONDERFUL. She was kind, empathetic towards my nervousness about my child etc. if she was my actual doctor I would have been so happy.

The actual doctor was cold, distant and rude. She made uncomfortable faces towards my daughter and offered no signs of empathy. I apologized profusely sensing her attitude and she just turned her lip up in silence like a robot. I was talked into making a follow up appointment when I really didn't want to due to being super busy and I ended up missing it.

She charged me for missing the appointment. I didn't receive any notification that I owed money via email or call until I got a letter in the mail for it being 120 days overdue. The absolute worst experience with an eye doctor I have ever had. I would never rebook or continue to go to this location. Beware.

I am tired of calling and asking this business to return my calls. While things went well, all was great, but the moment I had a question I was given conflicting answers. The co-owner of the business has not returned my call in 6 business days. I did not receive my prescription during my last visit, I asked that it be e-mailed and I still don't have it.

My exam was on Nov 2nd. During the eye exam I noticed that my right eye vision was "milky, " and I separated my face from the instrument only to find out it was poorly cleaned so I cleaned it myself with the eye doctor in presence. I started going here because it was close, convenient and had decent reviews. It all went well while there were no problems. The moment there was one, I am being avoided. I don't recommend this business and they can't get me back. I just want my prescription and I am going elsewhere.

I came in yesterday with my frame broken and bent out of shape after it had been stepped on during a camping trip. Within 20 minutes they reattached the temple piece, bent everything back into shape, and let me walk out wearing my glasses again! Excellent and friendly service everytime I have visited!

Simply disappointing. First the very first time I visited this clinic I had good service, but different Doctor. Back in 2019, my insurance covered full and I had no co pay at all. This year I went in for my new set of contacts nothing was different, same test and everything I got done the first time. This time I payed over 400$ out of pocket.so I called my insurance made sure I had payed what I needed to pay in my part but since my eye condition is considered medically necessary, my insurance cover 100% no copay. Tried asking for refund, where I was told I had to pay that because I had some kind of deductible, witch isn't true because my type of eye condition.

Even more obvious about this situation of having no co pay was when a close family member went to a different clinic, has the same exact insurance and condition and had 0$ Co pay. That's that now I had called too order the rest of my one year supply of contacts and was told They would ordered them. This was back in September, yes I was told it would take a few weeks due to the epidemic.

I called back a month later to check in the order, and was told they the Lady that does the orders wasn't in if they could give me a call back when she was In. I had no problem with that. Never got a call back! So I called again a week later, was told if they could return the call back too me because they needed to check the exact status of my order, and AGAIN NO CALL BACK.

I Called the last and third time was told the same thing but this time I got a call back, and said it would take another month to get my stuff. Which means that my supplies weren't order till the third time I called. I'm just waiting for the rest of my supplies and I'm never coming back too this place and won't be recommending it either. Really felt that I wasn't treated with disrespect in the sense that I didn't receive a call back.

And felt that I was taken advantage with my insurance because not only did the max my limit they made me pay money that at the end of the day I wasn't supposed to pay. Keep an eye out people!

First visit with their office and found them to be focused on the current virus concerns which is comforting. Dr Susannah Lee is very competent and professional, now our family eye care specialist! 100% recommended.

I've been going to Barnes Professional Eye Care for several years. I found the previous optometrists and the other staff excellent and I can report that my first encounter with Dr. Sabahi was also excellent. She was very good at fine tuning my eyeglass prescription. They dispense high end eyeglasses and the prices reflect that fact but the quality of both the lenses and frames are top notch.

I decided to come based on the rave reviews here - and now want to add mine. Great staff, very friendly, very caring Dr. Schissler - they helped me chose a frame within my price range - the glasses fit great, look great, best of all, they work great! First time I ever got a prescription so perfect - Highly recommend this office!

The staff is friendly and professional, the office is attractive but not intimidatingly fancy, and Dr. Stasik is great! He was prompt and easy to talk to, and he walked me through each part of the exam, explaining what each test pertained to and the science behind it (I'm curious and always like to know the details). He also gave me helpful general advice about how to get the family ready for eye exams and when to bring them - I asked since I have a few small children, and it was very informative.

Their selection of frames is wonderful. Not the cheapest in town, for sure, but there seemed to be a decent price range. They even ordered a few colors of the frames I liked so I could try each one and make a final decision when my lenses were ready. That was a pleasant surprise, and I really felt they went the extra mile to make sure I had the exact glasses I wanted.

I've required corrective lenses for 15 years and this was hands down the most pleasant experience I have had with an optometrist. From scheduling my appointment, having pre-appointment correspondence, arriving, seeing the assistant Megan, then finally seeing Dr. Stasik, it was pleasant the entire time. The testing was thorough, explanation was extensive, and it was very clear that they cared about my vision and overall health. I look forward to continuing my vision treatment with this office.

I live day by day on low income while trying to finish school. I don't have insurance, so of course I'm wary about any kind of Doctor's visit. I first visited Barnes Professional Eye Care a few months ago and was taken aback by the low cost of my uninsured visit. The staff are very friendly and eager to help whoever walks through the door (cute too!).

My visit was much more thorough and stress-free than any other eye exam I've had before. Because price is always an issue with me, I had some trepidation when ordering my colored contact lenses. As it turns out, they were super cheap and shipped within the next day! Life is definitely more beautiful when you're able to see it correctly. Thank you everyone at Barnes Professional Eye Care! =D
