After spending nearly a decade as the Director of one of the nation's most successful independent diagnostic imaging centers, Leslie was tabbed to take over the reins as Administrator of The Surgery Center in the Fall of 2012. Known for her charismatic and outgoing leadership style, Ms. LaPlante has established great professional working relationships with area doctors and is passionate about providing first-class healthcare in Calhoun County.

I thought this place was absolutely wonderful.until. So I was told that I had to pay the rest of my deductible out and 20% (my copay for that procedure) which I already knew that prior to surgery. I paid that amount ($504.15) the morning of my surgery. I called my insurance today and found out that they had not even submitted anything my insurance(still to this day, a month later).
How can you tell me how much I owe when you never sent it to my insurance? So then I called The Surgery Center to ask them where they got their amount from and was told that I still owe them an additional $492 but yet I received a check from them for $109 last week and in the memo it said "over payment". How do I owe you but you send me a check? The woman in billing and insurance tried to get an attitude.
She could not answer any of my questions and tried to transfer me to the business manager which did not answer or return my call. The BCBS rep then called them to find out what was going on and conveniently the woman that I just talked to 10 minutes before that was off work today. I just got off the phone with her so how has she been off today? This place is shady and tricks you into paying money that is either not owed or tells you it will be a certain amount and then hits you with another bill.

Date of procedure: Feb 12, 2020 - Attending Physician - Dr. Rodriguez. From arriving and signing in until assistance to the vehicle, this was a first-class operation. I had an epidural and received instructions ahead of time to fill out much of the paperwork including allergies and prescriptions on line. This method greatly sped up the process. My procedure was to be 3:00, but I was early and they had me back in my recovery location at 3:00.
All of the staff was friendly, helpful, and competent. I have tough veins and the IV went in on first try. The doctor visited, gave a thorough explanation of the procedure, and I received a full explanation of do and do not for post care. A great experience and I would highly recommend The Surgery Center

Great place for surgeries. Dr Sturman and Dr Rodriguez are very great and nice. The receptionists Julie and Courtney are very nice and talkative. Lacarol, John, Sam, Shae, Holly, Matt, Jessica, Lauren, Angie, Summer, Maranda, and Kaitlyn are very nice nurses, talkative, and gave me peanut butter crackers and soda. Dr. Vandervoort and Dr. Eloubeidi are very kind and professional. I would definitely go back for any procedure because they are fast and professional.
