Dr. Berry is by far THE BEST AROUND. He is absolutely Amazing. His Nurse Brittany is absolutely an angel. I am here in FLORIDA alone, I started back in Dec w a severe chemical reaction to Krazy Glue, late Dec. Found out my Gallbladder was bad. I have been so sick and scared. Dr Tripodis found my Gallbladder issues, he is also fabulous. I was referred to Dr. Berrys office and ended up seeing him.

As soon as he walked in the room I knew he was amazing. My surgery went great. I have spoke w Brittany several times by ph about things and she is so so sweet, so caring, so understanding. I could not have asked for a better group of people to care for me. From Dr Berry, to Brittany, to Mease Hospital, YOU ALL ARE FANTASTIC. GOD BLESS YOU ALL DURING THIS TIME. YALL DO A TOP KNOTCH JOB

Dr zuzga is the worst Dr n a thief if he tells you that by need any type of procedure especially an ablation I HIGHLY recommend u get a 2nd opinion I allowed him to do 1, even though I thought it sounded off it was a totally unnecessary procedure after going for a second opinion after it was done I was told that it should never have been done he even tried to convince me to have the other leg done And on the second opinion doctor told me that there was nothing wrong with my other leg. now since the ablation I've got spider veins which I never had before they never warned me that could be side effect of after having the ablation done and after I told them that I had the spider veins their answer was oh we could fix those if you need it I wanted to so bad report him but instead I just didn't pay the bill I know how hard it is these days to prove malpractice and he's very very smart he covers his tracks and I have no way of proving that the ablation that he did was useless he is a crook I give him absolutely zero starts

Dr Roth is absolutely phenomenal! I have had horrible experiences with all sorts of different doctors to where my anxiety gets so bad I get nauseous and weak. Not with him. He always makes sure to calm me down by either making me laugh or just being sweet and friendly. I was nervous about having surgery done, as any normal human would be, but he made sure to talk me through every single thing.

He even drew a little picture diagram to thoroughly explain to me what was going on. Whenever you ask him questions or talk to him he never puts things in complicated terms that go way over your head like most doctors do. Instead he simplifies things and makes sure you understand. He is truly hands down the best doctor I have ever dealt with in my entire life.

I would recommend him to anyone who needs something along the lines of his work. Also, an added bonus, his assistant Barbie is sweet as can be. Any time I called her with questions she helped me. And every time I go for my follow ups she is the nicest person and always sympathetic. I could not recommend them any more. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Surgeons of West Florida came highly rated from my Gastroenterologist. I met with Dr. Berry and Dr. Small for my hernia surgery. They took a very person interest in my case. Everything went great and their care was second to none. I would and have highly recommended them.

Horrible experience! Stay away from Dr. Davidson! Horrible bedside manor, talks down to his patients like they are dumb. Went in for hernia surgery at Mease Countryside and left with a nice big scar and still have my hernia. Confronted him and the office manager about it and they want me to pay out of pocket for another surgery after he admittedly may have missed my hernia. Really? No thanks, I'll have a real reputable surgeon do it next time.

GOOD INFORMATION TO KNOW! Why would a doctor put a clause in a form that states they are protected and liable for only $250,000 if they were negligent? I only came here to review based on the new patient form. I was scheduled for an appointment until I read the section dealing with arbitration that is basic to the medical industry (thanks SCOTUS), only the one at Surgical Associates of West Florida goes a step further in eroding the right of the patient with the statement I have posted below.

This is taken from their new patient form that is available on their website. I thought some would want to know the lengths this company is going. "Limitation of Damages: Patient agrees that in the event of any dispute with the Doctor, for any reason whatsoever, including any negligence claim relating to the diagnosis, treatment, or care of the Patient or any other personal injury claim, Patient's non-economic damages (including, but not limited to, damages for pain and suffering) shall be limited to a maximum of $250,000 per incident and shall be calculated on a percentage basis with respect to capacity to enjoy life, pursuant to the formula contained in Florida Statutes, Section 766.207.

For example, if the Patient's injuries resulted in a 50% reduction in his or her capacity to enjoy life, this would warrant an award of not more than $125, 000 in non-economic damages. This limit applies regardless of the number of claimants or defendants in the arbitration proceeding. This limitation of damages provision does not limit or restrict in any way the Patient's right to seek all economic damages actually incurred by the Patient, including any medical expenses and lost wages." This review is written based entirely on facts that are publicly available, these are not my opinions, they are fact, and as such are protected by the laws of the state of Florida (where this was posted). It concerns me when a medical professional hides behind arbitration and a damage limit of $250,000 even if they are negligent.

My experience with Surgical Associates, in my case, with Dr. Schmidt, was absolutely positive. I felt confident in the abilities of this doctor and the practice he is part of. It was reassuring to be informed about the procedure I had both before in preparation, and after in follow up. His staff is friendly and caring. The facilities in Safety Harbor and in Dunedin spotless and provided the right place to meet and discuss the surgery.
