My first Appointment for a procedure was botched by the office staff. Then, I agreed to set up a second appointment and that one was worse than the first. I was supposed to have a procedure on a Monday they Didn't call me to tell me my scheduled time of arrival even after I called them. They said"someone will call you". Which nobody did. But after screwing it up they never even called to apologize or anything. TERRIBLE customer service. Never again!

When you call your waiting on hold at least 15mins, if not more. You aren't allowed to switch Doctors more than once, so you better like one of the two you chose. A 3 to 4 week wait to get in even if you were just in the hospital. Had a upper scope done last year with Dr. Partha Nandi and he was two hours late to show up not to mention the other patients ahead of me. I waited 4 hours because of his lack of caring about his patients. Will not be going back and will make sure I never recommend anyone here.

Do not go to this office if you are seeking medical health care. I have been working with this office since beginning of the year and my health continues to decline; to the tune of significant weight loss(40lbs) and literally cannot eat anything outside an elimination diet only to be told to take heartburn medication. I never once complained of heartburn but yet have been prescribed multiple heartburn pills which i refuse to take as it causes me too vomit solid foods.

I have never been seen by a doctor outside of a test/procedure;I have only worked with doctors NP, why is that? I absolutely respect and value the opinions of the NP and do not discredit the work those 2 women have done for me. I called the office on 5/2 and informed that I no longer have insurance and really have no decent quality of life no more and what should I do moving forward and was told, get ready, someone from office will call you back within 24hr.

I did not receive return call until 5/9 when i was told from beginning of conversation how they have been trying to call me but got no answer and also emailed some information pertaining to my situation. Well there are no emails from that office and I know for a fact they never once tried calling me within that weeks time. Oh and once again they called in a script for heartburn. Classic gaslighting!

Never again. The doctors are ok, the billing and customer services is the worst, rudest group of people I ever came across. Don't trust them when they say they will fix billing problems they made on error. This has accrued several times. The billing supervisor is a clueless know it all, was the reason for.continuing to drop the ball. Even worse the next level of her management (her boss) let's her run the ship and is extremely unprofessional & clueless when listening to any details (doesn't care).

I held back on names but will be glad to provide. They will never get my business again and I will continue to provide more details of their office incompetence. Look elsewhere!

Discriminated against me, wouldn't allow me to set my reoccurring medical procedure. Why? Because I can't be vaccinated and I will not take a faulty C19 test before any procedure. I have documented natural immunity for both variants and yet they will not recognize that. I will remove my comments when this practice recognizes that not all people are able to comply with unconstitutional orders or comments. Especially when tests and vaccines are not 100% accurate or effective. Otherwise this a great practice.

I was supposed to take someone to this location. The office staff did not notify the person correctly of a canceled appointment. The person and I were prepped and ready to go only to find out that they canceled an appointment by leaving a voicemail for someone that is hearing impaired. They sent a letter to confirm an appointment but they don't send a letter to cancel an appointment.

Someone fail to read the patient's file to see that they should have sent something in writing at least an email or a text message if not a letter. If they can't read a file regarding simple things, how do you know they're going to do your procedure properly I would not recommend this place.

They cancelled my husbands colonoscopy and endoscopy four different times. Forget trying to access preventive care or scheduling with your work. They have no regard for your time nor do they seem to care. The lady calling to let us know was never kind nor apologetic. I have no idea what is wrong with this office. The one time we tried to drop off something they were sitting in the dark.

It also takes a half hour to get someone on the phone when you call. They charged 242 dollars for a five minute phone consultation with a doctor that they billed at 45-59 minutes. No follow up with a doctor after test results came back positive. They just don't care. I suggest you look elsewhere for your care and find someone that does CARE.

I went in for a colonoscopy with Dr. Nandi on June 30. Needless to say I was exhausted and a little anxious. The facility is clean and safe. The staff there were incredible. Mary, Emily, Chelsea and another young lady whose name I can't seem to remember, were all so kind, courteous, and comforting. When I met Dr. Nandi, just before I was getting ready for a much needed nap, he too was kind and comforting.

In no time with this great team, I found myself laughing and not thinking about anything except enjoying the pleasant sleep Mary sent my way. Thank you all for your kindness and light-hearted conversation. I'll be expecting to hear some Jim Morrison blasting next time we meet!

This one star is somewhat misleading. I have no idea if they are good doctors. That is the point of this review. My sister referred me to this group of doctors and on a Tuesday morning I called. I went directly to voicemail with an option to wait on the phone or leave my contact information so that "someone will call you back by the end of the day".

I waited for about ten minutes and then chose to leave my contact information. No return call. Assuming I caught them on a busy day, I repeated the process Wednesday morning. I even tried calling again Wednesday afternoon. It is now Thursday and even though messages were left three times over two days, I still have not heard from anyone. Given the good reviews I assume these are good doctors. I am just not sure how anyone finds out.

I needed my infusion 2 weeks ago and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phone to make an appointment and now it's a whole other obstacle to get them to just send the script over in order for me to get my infusion. Whenever I call no one is at the desk. They seem to not care about their patients or are just unable to do simple tasks.

How does it take days to send over a script? I still have not received my infusion because of them. UPDATE: Finally got a call back and they blamed me for the script not being sent? HOW? I don't sign scripts? Even though I had my appointment? They also snidely mentioned all the calls and faxes they were getting from the infusion center on my behalf- maybe answer those calls? I'll be looking for a doctor elsewhere.

Behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional and catty to be honest. I'm sorry I had to cancel a past appointment and reschedule but in no way am I the first person to cancel and reschedule.

I previously gave a one star review stating that I had no idea how good the doctors were because I could not get through to make an appointment. Shortly after leaving my review I received a call from the office (I do not believe there was any connection between my review and the call - pure happenstance). Within ten minutes of my phone ringing, I had a colonoscopy scheduled for the following week - remarkably quick these days.

On the date of my procedure everything went very well. The intake staff, the medical professionals and Dr. Bologna were friendly and professional. Nothing was rushed and everything was explained. First class care. I highly recommend these doctors and this facility.

This place is absolutely terrible. The staff is ridiculously rude. I have had to come to this office for my infusions. I have wanted to go somewhere else for some time but transferring takes some time because you have to get referrals and approvals. So when they found out I was getting other means for my IV meds they canceled all my appointments. I now have to wait an additional month if not longer to receive my infusion even even though it is imperative that I get it on time every 4 weeks.

It just goes to show that so many have a job based on a paycheck not because they actually care about what they are doing.i was just a number and money to them. I was not notified my appointment was even canceled. So now I risk not being in remission because of their lack of compassion for me as a patient. Do NOT come to this office!

My gosh, don't EVER get hooked into seeing a doctor at this office. We have NEVER waited less than 2 hours to get into our appointment. The explanation is: We overbook because otherwise it would take months for patients to be seen. Instead of hiring more doctors and scheduling adequate time for patients, they just work short staffed, overbook patient appointments, then make patients wait HOURS to be seen.

Absolute disgrace. Just awful. We complained months ago. It did not get better, the wait time grew longer. Do NOT get started seeing any doctor in this practice or else you will fall into the same trap: Unable to see new doctor because you have to start from square one all over again.

I'm sitting here 1 hour and 21 minutes past my appointment time, still waiting to see doctor. No end of waiting in sight. Already in trouble at work taking time off for appt, going to be in bigger hot water for being gone so long. Hope I don't lose my job over this marginally competent practice group. 2nd appt here. 2nd time same thing happened and no one seems to care. I'm looking for new specialist. HIGHLY recommend everyone else does too.

The doctor is fine, but the two times I've been there I've had to wait an unbelievably long time. When I asked after an hour long wait how much longer it would be, the receptionist said she didn't know. No apology or even a hint of regret for the wait. The doctor was just really busy today. I get that, but call and tell me to come later so I don't waste all this time sitting and waiting.

Note: I'm giving negative star. I called to cancel my colonoscopy because I didn't have any more symptoms. And the doctor didn't have any notes of this conversation in my medical record. Dr. Bakken still insisted I do it just to be sure. This gave me the impression that this will be preventive, and thus covered by my insurance. I even called my insurance provider to be absolutely sure this will be preventive procedure and 100%covered. Lo and behold I got $1500 in unexpected bills that I'm fighting at the moment. They ended up not finding anything, of course. This place is very careless with how they handle patient information. Expect also a very, very long wait on appointments.

I went to see Dr. Donat for a colonoscopy, my father had colon cancer so it just a screening because of family history. Everyone in the office is very nice and helpful. The nurses and anesthesiologist made you feel comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Donat is soft spoken, very nice.

Dr. Bakken was wonderful. I fell asleep, woke up twenty minutes later to her smiling face with my husband at my side.

This practice makes it impossible to schedule an appointment. Call their scheduling department and sit on hold for over 20 minutes. They have an option to press that lets you leave a voicemail so you don't have to wait on the phone. Unfortunately, those voicemails only get responded to once in awhile. I saw Dr. Abadear. No matter what time or date I scheduled, I would be seen 50-70 minutes AFTER my scheduled time.

They ask you to get to the office 10 minutes before your appointment. I do just that. Sit for 30 minutes before they call me back, sit me in an exam room for 3 minutes, the PA comes in and takes my vitals. (Blood pressure, updates prescription info, etc) wait for another 20 minutes, then in comes the Dr. I am not the type of person to write a bad review after one visit. Drs sometimes get busy, over loaded, stuff happens. However, I brought my his up to the staff and the dr after it happened like clock work, EVERY. SINGLE. VISIT.

I was clear to me that my time was not important to them. I decided to switch doctors within the practice, not wanting to throw out the baby with bath water. They told me I needed permission from the Doctors to switch and would get back to me. They transferred me to Amanda, I'm guessing an office manager? I followed up with her 4 times, (once with a voicemail pleading with her about how much pain I am in that went unreturned).

There are too many Gastroentologist in this area to deal with being treated like you don't matter. I recommend avoiding this practice and going with someone who cares about you and your time.

If you are the patient's driver, be prepared to stand while you are in the waiting room. Almost 40 people crammed into this dingy space. I went down the hall to the restroom. When I came back, my chair was taken as was nearly every other chair in the room. I have no comments on the level of medical care but owners of this facility should be taking better care of their guests and patients in the waiting room.

Well if you have a rare disease that encompasses your entire body Dr Bakken is not for you. After many years of seeing her she has quit trying. I don't know if this is because of the new health insurance issues in America or she is just a lazy sack like the rest of Beaumont's GI department. The only way I would ever recommend Bakken to anybody is if you need one test or your condition requires very little homework for her to do because she NEVER took the time to seriously look at my diagnosed life long disease that most certainly effects your GI system.

At one time I would've said she is the best GI Doctor around, but now she is just in it for the money and to keep that waiting room full to pay for all luxuries in life she has. It must be nice to have a job that you make a ton of money for doing nothing in the end when your patient needs you more than ever. The best part too is after switching to another hospital and GI Doctor I had a non invasive test done that in all my years with Dr. Bakken she never performed.

This test along with a new prescription have solved all the problems I was seeing Dr. Bakken for? One test and one prescription that she NEVER tried cured me 95%. How after all the years I spent with Dr. Bakken did she never try what my new Dr. tried who is also a Gastroenterologist? Again I say, Dr. Bakken is in it just for the money and to keep her three different offices full and surgery center. She is a poor, poor Dr. at best.

I went to see Dr. Bologna for an upper endoscopy. This was my first time having any kind of procedure done as well as my first time going under. I was a little nervous going in but when they took me back to the room for prep everyone was very friendly and I felt very comfortable. I then went back to the procedure room and everyone introduced themselves, told me to bite a piece of plastic, and told me I would feel some burning when the sedative went in.

It wasn't even burning it was more like a cool sensation and I was out. Next thing I knew I was being awoken and given some juice. It was very quick and as pleasant as a procedure could be.

Dr. Bologna is a great doctor. I don't know where i would be in my life with out him and his team helping me out. Dr. B is also on a experimental trial team looking for new cures for GI related diseases. I was involved in a couple trials that did help me. Make sure you ask about any questions or concerns. Great doctor. He was even featured in HOUR magazine for Top Docs.

As for the office. waits are a little long, but I understand. They have great doctors. The office always has a few people in the waiting room. Very Clean office. Nice staff. As for the procedures i have had related to Troy Gastro- No complaints except 1. 1. - The prep for a colonoscopy is to drink a full bottle of Miralax Laxative to flush your system.

That stuff is going flush you out like you just woofed down 100 greased lightning sliders from White Castle. It is not enjoyable experience for anyone. By the end of the night you are so thankful it is over. You will never want to see a bottle of Miralax again! BUTT WAIT. the first thing you see at the Troy Surgical Center is a empty bottle of Miralax with silk flowers in it greeting you on the check in counter. Thats the very last thing you want to see the morning of your procedure!

I think they realized this because it has since been removed. It was a creative thought, I will give them that. Granted that may not have been Troy Gastro's fault per say. butt they work hand and hand with the Troy Gastro. Other than that small bump in the road I'm a grateful and happy patient over all =
