Our exceptional surgeons are board certified and trained in the latest techniques and treatments of back, neck and brain conditions. Dr. Philip W. Tally was born in Gadsden, Alabama. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and his neurosurgical training at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota.
Linda began working for our office in 1999 and is responsible for the management of all staff and the functioning of our office. Allison began working for our office in 2010 and is responsible for all our physician credentialing with insurance companies to become and/or continue to be participating providers within their networks, billing of surgery charges and assists Office Manager with various management duties.
Neurospinal Associates participates with a wide range of insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Medicaid Advantage, Motor vehicle plans, workers compensation, United Healthcare, Veterans Administration, and many more. We can also accept out of network plans with prior authorizations.

A good back surgeon is probably the most important relationship when talking aging spines. Dr Michael King is one of the most caring Doctors I have ever met. And I met a LOT of them. I wish all Doctors were as disciplined as Dr. Michael King is! Also, he is actually not surgery happy. He will exhaust all avenues before he determines surgery. If you do need surgery - he is THE BEST!
Clean office, no wait, and yes they take Covid seriously - so no packed waiting rooms for that reason. I found him because he had the best credentials when I began a month long search. I was able to get right in. Dr. Michael King also appears to have several admission rights to local hospitals - which is not easy to come by. I think they have to do a lot of Emergency Room service to get that status!

What a great experience I had with Neurospinal Associates! I had to have a synovial cyst removed from my L4-L5 region. Dr. Tiesi did an amazing job on my back surgery. I followed the aftercare instructions, and within two weeks my nerve pain was gone, and by Week 4 I felt like a million bucks! I am also thrilled to say, that Dr. Tiesi did a great job at not scarring up my back tattoo!
