This visit was flawless. Directions given to find the MRI Dept were accurate. Once there we were greeted by happy employees. I actually lost sleep the night before thinking we'd never find our way to the next appt for a CT Scan. No worries there; we were shown the way. It was pouring when we left and was greeted by a lovely lady in the parking lot holding an umbrella to take us to our truck - what a LOVE she was. Never got her name (wish we had) but gave her a hug anyway. KUDOS to you folks! Tom & Deb

After my husband got prepped for the surgery, we waited 2 hrs n when he was ready to just leave they told him he was next, then a woman came in from intake to talk to people she knew and started to roll him out for his surgery, I said they told us he's next n she said go talk to a nurse n she hightailed it out of there rolling him out with her, HIPPA rules aren't followed, I heard all of them talking to patients and saying what they are taking for meds, procedures they were having done ect. Hands down worst hospital ever

They sent me to the psych ward quite a few times after i almost died and more, they requested I stay there for a couple weeks. kinda helpful, but wicked boring not enough outside time feels like a total disconnect and some people have a life.

This place.what a joke for emergencies I had a Dr insulting myself an wife when I was injured they told me I was fine when I found out from mid coast hospital I needed Blood transfusions from bleeding internally. If I had waited a Few hours longer before going to a hospital with compassion an general concern to look into the reason I was their instead of thinking I was Drug seeking with no real medical emergency I would not have been alive to share with you!

My sister went here yesterday because of certain symptoms. Not only was it the fastest service of her life, she was treated awfully. The doctor told her she shouldn't have been there unless she was deathly ill. The doctors name was Julie Pelletier. The service here is horrible and I know COVID is a huge issue but, come on. Be nice!

Absolutely the worst place. The person was the there for psychiatric help and receive absolutely no help at all! She was there for two nights then they said we are releasing her! They did NOTHING! Said they were going to have a plan for her release and we'll that DIDN'T happen either. Not that that would help because they again, Did NOTHING! Left this all for us to have to deal with!

I would gladly give a zero star for the pathetic level of care at this hospital! My elderly, heavy set, mother was in a bad wreck, luckily no "major" injuries but can barely stand at best. They have a excuse for everything for sending her home after one day of being there, even to the point of saying it's because they need the bed! Then giving out a number to call to escalate the situation to get approval for staying longer.

After my sister sat on hold for over a half hour the place she was calling said, Not sure why they keep giving people this number, this has nothing to do with what we do. wow! Then the hospital said she is being put into a ambulance and being transferred home. To a place where she has to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to the living area! All of this, and the insurance company said that there is no record that she was even admitted! Screw this hospital!

I have been through three deartments (pulmonary, CT, ultrasound) at St. Mary's and have experienced nothing but high level professionalism, competency and genuine concern for my well being and my health. All of the nurses and doctors and tech people have been terrific. Even the entry folks who check your Covid status are great. I have not had a single issue here and drive from Bath to Lewiston to see the physicians and screening people because they are so top notch. I would comfortably recommend St. Mary's to any of my friends who needed high level professional care.
