Looks decent on the outside but it's like a third world country inside. Always extended ER wait times like UMC. Short staffed and Tons of water damage from the storm. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

I can't begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the kindness and care Terrebone General Hospital has showed and expressed to me during my visit! The minute I enter the emergency room for treatment, I was immediately admitted and treated for my pain and ailment. Everyone there from admin, nurses, doctors, and anyone that assisted me during my stay were Genuinely pleasant and caring!

They made sure all my medical needs were met and went out of their way to check in and made sure I was comfortable during my stay. Please be kind and show appreciation to all these kind and wonderful souls as they lay their life on the line everyday to take care of people who are in need of medical attention. These are the people who go above and beyond to ensure that our medical well being and health are taken care of in the expense of their own.

They even went out of their way to send me a thank you card! Thank you Terrebone General Hospital and all your amazing staff for doing what you all do best! Keep up the amazing work as you all are the true heroes of the world! May God bless you all

Worst hospital like third world country. I drove one hour and they kicked us out of emergency. I had mask on for Covid. Very unprofessional they don't know how to talk to people. They wanted to call the police because I sat in the waiting room.

Worst experience i've had so far. i went for severe period cramps, my pain was at a 10 and remained a 10 the entire seven hours that i sat in the waiting room. they made it very clear that they do not believe women when it comes to period pains. im a woman, i should be able to handle it, right? wrong! obviously i couldn't handle it, that's why i was there. i waited for seven hours before leaving and going to thibodaux.

I don't really think I'll ever go back there they lost my grandson's test which I had to go bring him again to take the Covid test and then I called just to ask a question and the nurse was not too friendly with me so yeah I don't think I would go back there even though I had my babies in the hospital I don't really think I can go back there If they going to be rude think I'm going to drive to Thibodaux then have to go put up with a rudeness

Emergency room was HORRIBLE. They had people gasping for air and the nurses turned a blind eye. My husband went it and at first I was allowed to go back once he got a room, he got put in a room and I was told by the lady at the desk that he'd be out in 10 min even though my husband was never seen. I then get told that I'm not allowed to go back because the hospital has too many covid patients.

Meanwhile there are plenty of patients who had their support person go back with them along with a sheet of paper that stated that patients were allowed one guest. According to the lady at the front the information on the paper was wrong. The dr also treated my husband very disrespectfully. Throwing his meds at him saying "take em how you want". We used to like TGMC, not anymore.

Worst experience I've ever had. Im a recovering addict well once then staff know that they treat you differently. I pulled a muscle in my neck and for the last 3 days I've been in excruciating pain. They tell me there is nothing that they can do and to just take ibuprofen. I'm a single mother of 3 children and work a minimum wage job. I cant even afford ibuprofen as sad as that it.

I finished the bottle of ibuprofen I has lieing around which btw didnt help at all. I go to university hospital in new orleans on the 3rd day bc the pain is just unbearable and I need to be feeling well enough to return back to work. I tell university my situation, history(past and present). i tell them I dont want narcotics, the prescribed me muscle relaxers which helped tremendously.

It's a shame I had to drive an hour away to get some relief from this pain. I take responsibility got my actions but the way terrebonne general ER responded to me really showed my quality of life dont mean anything to them and it was definently a trigger to make me want to relapse. I will never spend another penny with TGMC. All patients may not have the same diagnosis but all patients deserve to be treated equally. The best part of TGMC was the dark tall baldish man with glasses in MRI zone 3. He is the only one who

The absolute worst hospital I have ever been to. The only good thing I can say about this hospital is that the doctor was honest and said he did not care. His exact words were in fact you are not having a heart attack and it is not life-threatening that is all I care about. They seen and treated me for a grand total of 1 hour and I waited for almost 10 hours to be sent back a mile to the other hospital I was in.

I could have gotten better Healthcare and more caring people in North Korea then at this Hospital or had I been taken to a vet and treated like a stray dog I would have been treated better than I was at this Hospital not that anyone associated with this Hospital cares. not that it should make any difference but I am a United States Army veteran but was treated more like a Taliban pow.

I don't usually write bad reviews but as I sit here going into the second hour of waiting hopelessly for someone to come help us, I had to get off my chest about how one of their nurses is completely unprofessional. My boyfriend and I came to the ER around 9PM because he's suffering from excruciating pain from kidney stones. I have never had a nurse tell a patient that the level of pain that they're in can be solved with some "Toradol" because she is a nurse and she knows that they're great for kidney stones.

She also was very condescending just because I told her something about giggling outside in the hallway as a patient in the next room was supposedly dying and my boyfriend is screaming out in pain. I understand that there are patients who require immediate attention, I'm not completely ignorant. But that excuse is only viable if she was actually helping the patient instead of making her rounds for tea time.

My boyfriend has had multiple instances with kidney stones and it would've taken 2 seconds to pull up his chart and administer the medication that he requires. This is a Ochsner hospital, all of his records are with Ochsner. I can't believe they let him wait an hour before administering medication. They also made him do registration as he was crying and puking from the pain.

She also said it's inappropriate to ask for narcotics when the previous nurse had asked us what was the regular course of treatment that his doctors usually take because he get them so often. It's completely unacceptable. Don't waste your time and come here unless you're sure you have 10 hours to waste in the ER.
