After begging for an endocrinology appointment for Addison's Disease my Husband& I arrived, after he'd struggled to get me there in a wheelchair, & were 10 minutes early. We were told that unfortunately some of our online paperwork didn't arrive & we'd have to complete it longhand as they wouldn't accept a copy. My Husband basically plowed through the paperwork in less than 10 or so minutes. regardless, when my Husband returned with these much needed pages we were informed Dr. Jones would NOT BE SEEN.

I am in desperate need of an endocrinologist that truly understands Addison' a Disease & can help me get back to living a bit of a normal life at least. Looks like Dr. Jones isn't it for me right now. Unfortunately.

I have never had trouble with the staff in the front. I have only been seen twice once by Dr. Jones himself, which was an excellent experience. Once by Jennifer in education, also an excellent experience. Check in, Check out, I believe Patricia scheduled by appt, all that is fine. My issue is that they have an email contact and they never reply, I get a confirmation that was sent, no response, twice once a month ago, and recently.

Don't offer an email contact if you won't respond. My experience as of late had not been good with a particular person, I am not sure, if she is a nurse or not, I just know that she doesn't know if there are generic forms of prescriptions that diabetics use (they are specialists here), called in brand $400 range, I don't qualify for coupons or any assistance with brand/generic companies. Does she not have access to my allergic list?, which was another prescription she about called in and I caught it.

She is frustrated with herself and taking it out on me. Do they not have access to your file, ever again. It frustrating to work with someone, that says well we are trying to help you and you can't afford the other ones, I don't think most people can. I doubt they read Google reviews b.c. this is not my 1st one, and I have heard nothing.

Dr Ashwini Gore' has been handling my thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) for about 7 years now and I trust her completely! Sometimes she has to trust her own judgement with me. However, she always gets me past my flares! In fact, she's also helping my newly diagnosed niece and I'm so happy she is! I also have family members with diabetes that Dr Jones has helped tremendously! I've thanked God many times over for this place.

They were rude to me (Macon Location) concerning a mix up on their end. Someone gave me false information and when I arrived there they would not own up to it in front of their supervisor. The billing lady was very rude and had an attitude with me as if I was trying to get out of paying. I really was looking forward to this appointment because I am struggling with diabetes but they refused to help due to an error that was not my fault.

How would you feel if someone from a specialists office told you over the phone to come on in even if you couldn't pay at the time of the appointment and you could pay after over the phone and you drive an hour to get there and then get refused.? The person who told me to come on in wouldn't even take ownership of telling me that. I'm so heartbroken. Maybe God has something better in store for me.

I have something very serious and damaging going on with my body - I called for resources and an appointment. They left the resources at the desk but was unfortunately unable to get them that day due to other appointments. They originally schedule me for my serious condition for a Thursday at 3:45, they also leave a voicemail for confirmation as well.

They then CALL BACK to change the appointment to an EARLIER TIME (1:45) because a slot opened and they say, "It would be easier for us since we won't be staying over time as well." So we changed the time but kept the date. I take the slot trying to be polite. I get there on that Thursday at the new arranged time - I also never got a conformation voicemail for that new time either.

They then tell me once I'm there that they scheduled me for the day before - never was told that over the phone when they changed that appointment time nor got the confirmation e-mail. They then also told me they had NO RESOURCES for how to keep my blood sugar under control with this serious condition when just a few days ago they did. Very unprofessional and shows there is no care about well being for patients there.

On Monday February 8th 2021 had appointment at 9:00 for alto sound. Didn't see anybody until 40 minutes later. After 30 minutes talk with someone and was asked by a nurse in the waiting room deck down the hall if I wanted to come back another day. I said NO I drove 40 minutes to get there. I'm not happy. I was told someone called in sick to much (Super Bowl) partying I'm sure. Like the doctors and checking in people. Need's work on getting to see doctors and staff appointments on time. Please.

My husband started going here about a year ago. His first visit we were very impressed. They seemed to be organized, caring and kind. After a couple of visits his meds were changed, some added some removed. His A1C came way down. We all were so thrilled that he felt better. Good job. Well then i dont know what happened but it has been so difficult to get refills on his meds.

I would call and leave messages for his doctors nurse 2 and three times. When they were called in they were always incorrect or left 1 or 2 out. I thought it would be better in person when he went to his appointment last week. They didnt give him any perscription s or nothing was called in. By this time its been 2 weeks without the correct meds. I emailed them gave them a detailed list of all the meds the jones center doctor put him on. Went to pick them up (5 days after his apptment) and they called in meds he doesnt take anymore and I understand if they didnt know what he was taking before he came here but the meds they left out were meds this doctor put him on.

Plus they had a detailed list of what this doctor put him on in the email. It just proves that they dont read their own files. Had they read them they would be calling in the correct meds everytime. I would not recommend this office.

I had a horrible experience at the Jones Center. I was made to wait for over an hour with no one speaking to me, only to be told I never really needed to be there very condescendingly. I traveled a while to get there during the pandemic, and when I got there the only person wearing a mask was the lady checking temperatures outside which was interesting considering the majority of their patients are at-risk for covid-19.

They said they have "the equivalent of high school education" staff checking referrals and seeing the blood work from the referral, and that's why they never noticed that i didn't need to drive an hour away to be seen even when it was completely unnecessary. After I was assured I would not be charged for the appointment in which they did nothing, I still received a bill, and it was still billed to my insurance.

When I called about that, I was informed they would take the bill off for me and then I was promptly hung up on by Teresa the billing manager. And that is when I finally decided that I would write this review. So if you have any other options, go somewhere else. It is clear they do not prioritize their patients above the money they can make.
