At Three Village Cardiology, PC you will find a patient and caring medical and administrative staff, ready to give you the high-quality patient care you expect before, during and after your visit to our office. When you have your health to think about, the process of receiving medical care can seem difficult and complex.
After completing my Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital I entered the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center where I completed my training. I joined TVCPC in 1988. Since that time our practice has enjoyed continued growth, which I believe is due to the underlying premise that the patient is.
Question: How early should I arrive for my appointment? Answer: If you are a new patient, or an existing patient with new insurance information we recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the appointment so that you can fill out the necessary paper work. If you have been seen before in the office you need to arrive in time for your visit.
If you have DIABETES, ask your doctor if you should take your morning medications before the test. If you are on a BETA BLOCKER, check with your doctor about holding this medication 24 hrs. Purpose: This test measures your physical condition and heart function. You will be asked to walk on a treadmill that gradually increases in speed every three minutes until you have reached your target heart rate or if you indicate you can't walk anymore.
