I wish there was a two-and-a-half star review so that I could split the difference. Dr. Tierney efficiently and professionally handled reconstructive surgery after a mohs procedure on my nose. The exterior results were good but on my last follow-up I pointed out that there still seemed to be a considerable amount of interior swelling or scar tissue in the nasal passage that was restricting my breathing when in a sleeping position.
I had never had any breathing issues prior to my surgery. Over a year later I still have interior scarring that restricts my breathing. When I called on August 12 I was told to send pictures. There was no reply so I called after a couple of weeks and was told the doctor would look at them and get back to me. Again, no response. Emailed again, zero response.
It's November 11 as I write this and when I called today I was told they would schedule an appointment for him to see me next year. When I pressed that my deductible had been met and that I had been seeking a resolution since August, I was told that the doctor had in fact looked at my pictures at some point and recommended that I see an E/N/T specialist. I felt this issue was Dr. Tierney's responsibility to correct, and that it probably could be done with a simple procedure, but I think he just wants to be done with me.

I do not recommend this doctor to remove implants, my insurance has approved to remove them. He only wants to charge me in cash. He also offered to pop/deflate one of my implants in office = recommended a lift although five other doctors said no way. I am trying to make my best judgment and I can honestly say I feel he is only about the money.

Amazing Surgeon! I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction. He started my reconstruction at the time of my mastectomy and he and my cancer surgeon were a perfect team for me. I have all the confidence in the world in Dr. Tierney, I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially those going through breast cancer reconstruction. I couldn't have planned for a better outcome.
I had no complications and I look better than I did prior to having breast cancer. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tierney and his staff. They are all so kind, respectful and give the time you need to answer any questions and the wait time is always at a minimum. They made me feel so at ease. You will not be disappointed if you get this terrible diagnosis and need a great plastic surgeon, look no further.

The best way I can describe Dr. Tierney is that he's gifted and blessed. He's a fantastic surgeon, and an amazing doctor in every way. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff from the very beginning. The results from my procedures are billboard-worthy; I absolutely love, love, love my results. His office staff is second to none. Brooke is a doll; she's kind, sweet, caring, and compassionate.
From the moment you walk into the office, everyone makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. I followed all of Dr. Tierney's instructions pre- and post- surgery and had a pleasant and fast recovery each time. I am over the moon satisfied, and would recommend no other plastic surgeon but him, ever. He's truly second to none!

I came to Dr. Tierney for a reconstructive surgery after having a prophylactic double Mastectomy. I had reconstructive work done by another plastic surgeon and was very Unpleased with my results. I am so grateful I found Dr Tierney! He listened to everything I said about how I wanted them to look and made it happen! I could not be happier with my results as it had taken me 3 other reconstructive surgeries from another surgeon.

Very DISAPPOINTED with my end results. I'm an African American who had a tummy tuck 2 or 3 years ago and it didn't last 10 months. I still cry when I look in the mirror and realize that I spent nearly $10k to look pregnant. When I went in for my first consultation, I told Dr. Tierney what I wanted---a flat stomach and the rolls taken out my back so I could wear a nice tank top in the summer.
I was told it could be done & that it would cost a little more for the back and liposuction. Everything seemed fine for a few months as he said I was still healing. Once the healing was over and reality had set in I made a follow up appointment. When I questioned Dr. Tierney about it, he and his assistant/wife said to me "I TOLD YOU THIS MAY NOT WORK BECAUSE OF THE SHAPE OF YOUR STOMACH".
I called them a lie because there was no way in the world I'd spend that much money on a 'maybe'. I left his office in blinding tears and never heard from him again. My before and after pictures look the same.

I don't know where to start. Dr. Tierney is simply amazing. I had a double mastectomy about 3 1/2 years ago. I didn't have breast cancer, thank the Lord. However, my mother passed away from it. I had tumor after tumor removed. I was at high risk for breast cancer. That's when I was referred to Dr. Tierney. He was very thorough with my husband and myself about that procedure.
We both felt at ease with him. The whole process lasted about 2 to 3 years, from the mastectomy to the implants, to the nipple reconstruct. I am so very pleased with the results. It put me at ease knowing that I won't have to worry about breast cancer in the future. I owe this to Dr. Tierney and his staff. Everyone there is professional and very easy going. I would highly recommend Tierney Plastic Surgery. Thank you Dr. Tierney.

I am 42, and close to a year after my breast reconstruction following a double mastectomy. I was originally unsure if I wanted to get reconstruction, but I decided to do it, and SO glad I did! Dr. Tierney and his staff were simply amazing during the entire several-month process of surgeries and recovery. I had amazing care, and an over-all amazing experience.
And the results of the reconstruction surgery are INCREDIBLE - well beyond my wildest and most hopeful expectations! I had never considered plastic surgery prior to my cancer diagnosis, but based on my experience with Dr. Tierney, I can say he is one of the best!

Five years ago this October I met Dr. Tierney, Betsy and Lisa. They're like family to me. From the very first I was treated so very special. My reconstruction went perfectly. I didn't choose to have cancer but Im so thankful that God put these wonderful people in my life. They are the BEST. God has blessed me on this journey and I am doing great.
