We drove from Asheville because Tri City peds had a quicker availability for my son's echo compared to Asheville Cardiology. It was well worth the drive. From the receptionist to the doctor, everyone was kind, caring and knowledgable. I was so impressed with how efficient the team was--basically no wait time for triaging, imaging or doctor time. I am so glad I was able to find them!

I really didn't appreciate how they took my problem I'm having alot of symptoms of artery disease and I got a echocardiogram which is used to see if there is or isn't any problem in the heart that started from birth which I did not need. I told walkup my symptoms and asked if I may have a stress test? He agreed to, I came back a week later and they gave me a ekg and it was messing up it printed my EKG out and all it had on the paper was a dot?

And they used the same ekg to monitor my heart rate I ask " aren't you gonna put another one on me?" And they said nothing I'm 17 so I needed to reach 206 heart beats I only reached 170-175 beats and I couldn't keep going cause I had a chest pain and started getting dizzy. I told them this and they said it was probably where I haven't eaten in a little while since I had to you know prepare.

I dont think they took this serious enuff and I'm really disappointed cause I heard there suppose to be the best Pediatric Cardiologist in Tennessee. Now I'm trying to go see another one somewhere else. I hope this isn't the care for anyone else that goes here. This is James nance btw incase the staff are wondering.

Front desk staff, nurse, and NP were amazing and very nice. Sonographer on the otherhand was very rude and snide. She needs to realize that she is working with PEDIATRIC patients and needs to learn the trait of having patients. My son growled while she was doing his echo and she stated "um can you please not do that" along with other condescending remarks. Very unpleased with her pathetic attitude. Other than than, amazing experience!

Completely dissatisfied with the "care" my son received from Dr. Walkup. He had my son on the complete wrong medication that was only making his Pulmonary Hypertension worse. The whole 2.5 months we were seen there which was every other week, he always seemed so uncertain and acted as if his condition was not concerning and he played a waiting game.

We seemed to never leave there with any sort of answer after our 3 HOUR APPOINTMENT EVERY TIME. We went this long with no progression and finally went to Vanderbilt in which we got the information we needed, we were put on the right medication, and referred to another doctor! I'll add too that my cousin was coming here as well and has yet to get any answers with her condition and they refuse to do further testing.

It's been a play around wait around deal with her as well. I'd make the drive to Nashville before I'd come back in this office simply because this is 100% unacceptable "care" and a lawsuit waiting to happen. However, the front desk staff, nurses, and techs are amazing! I'll be transferring to Dr. Anand with ETSU peds and I would hope those of you who read this, reconsider and transfer there too. She is HIGHLY recommended by Vanderbilt's heart doctors!

Long wait (3 hours), very old equipment (rude sonographer) and never got to see the doctor. Would not recommend.
