I removed my inlaws from them as soon as i could. After having POA n seeing their somewhat care i was dissapointed. My spouse had been dropped from.him due to his receptionist view and not our side of story. So dissapointed. Now i find caring for my bilaw, that is his dr. And after seeing some of his meds hes been way to long on a narcotic that i.question that.

Most drs. Would not continue to sign off off on that. Bilaw mention thats why he doesnt want to change cause he listens to his needs lol n continues to get his narcotic? Receptionist from other post must be his special lady. Go with your gut instinct!

Dr Wiseman is caring and knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen to his patients and he is very understanding. He's also respected by other doctors. I've been his patient for years and am so thankful that Dr Fuller referred me to him. His staff is great too. I've seen complaints about his receptionist, but she's a lovely person. She's not syrupy or effusive, but is very good at her job. I'll take competent over cloying any day.

Dr. Wiseman's office receptionist is incredibly rude, not helpful and has been this way for years and it bothers me that dr.wiseman has allowed this behavior for years, the fact that she treats the paying patient so rudely and gets away with it makes me wonder what the communication is between her and dr. Wiseman is she communicating the truth to him.

Her perception of who pays her maybe dr. Wiseman but if it were not for the paying patients she wouldn't have a job. All that aside no one has the right to treat another so rudely she is down right mean! I genuinely feel sorry for her because she must not realize what a terrible person she is! I also have other complaints about dr. Wiseman and his behavior but I have to believe he's trusting his receptionist and she is not being truthful. I will be filing a complaint about Dr wisemans bizarre behavior to the Oklahoma board of medical licensure and supervision, I encourage other patients to do the same.

We were referred to Dr. Wiseman and heard wonderful things about him as a doctor. Sadly, some of his office people need to learn how to communicate professionally with the public. We have tried to see the doctor since February and have been rescheduled three times due to the pandemic. The rescheduling happened after we called them. Now in July, we are trying to see him and he is only doing phone medicine.

We just finished a phone call with his staff who said he won't be able to see us until January 2020. She wen't on to say they don't return phone calls if the doctor can't see a patient. We spoke to someone in the office last week and she said she would ask the doctor to see us via tele-med and a week later nobody called us back. We called to day and got a lady in the office who was condescending, rude and unprofessional.

Advice to Dr Wiseman- educate your staff about returning calls. even if it's a "no." Patients should not have to assume and be left hanging for a week when they need to see a doctor. Times have certainly changed when office staff treated patients with respect and it's time Dr. Wiseman cleaned house. WOW!

Dr. Wiseman is great. Leaving because of the receptionist. Always seems like she is in a bad mood. Not helpful. For example, they sent my prescription to my pharmacy. I asked what pharmacy they sent it to and she said "well I don't know (in a rude/annoyed tone)". I literally had to ask her to ask the doctor. Upon finding out where my prescription is, i say thank you and she just hangs up! Yep not dealing that woman anymore. If I didn't have to go through someone who didn't give two craps about me when I'm sick, I would continue going.

I had an appointment to see Dr. Steven Wiseman for my annual check-up on 8/13/2015 at 1:30 PM. He showed up approximately an hour later and the first question out of his mouth was, "So why aren't you working?" His next question was, "So when are you going to get a life?" Last time I checked, he was my primary doctor, not my counselor or coach. I was there to find out what's physically wrong with me, not to get hammered with rude, personal questions.

The prior few visits, he had been trying to infiltrate my personal life more and more, but this particular day was a step too far. When we finally got around to talking about my medical issues, he completely dismissed them (as usual, but in an even more dismissing way this time). He called the problem in the middle of my forehead "not real" when it clearly is; he said that dark urine while experiencing abdominal pain is "impossible" even though it's been happening to me on several occasions; and he thinks that most of my problems are "psychosomatic" when they're clearly not.

Then he had the nerve to tell me that my long-term, long-distance relationship with my boyfriend (at the time) "isn't a real relationship" and that I should be out having more fun (as in having more sex, based on past conversations with him). That's when I got up, told him that I had enough and took back my CD with proof of arthritis in my neck (x-rays I had gotten the previous year) and the list of other physical problems I had been facing.

He said I was just running away from my problems, but I disagree - I was running away from him. He was being extremely rude, and I just could no longer tolerate either his unprofessional conduct or his unwillingness to help me discover the truth about my medical problems and how to treat them. My father was a witness to the incident, and we both came out of it extremely stressed and inconvenienced as a result of Dr. Wiseman's mistreatment.

As it turns out, some time afterwards I went to see a wonderful urologist who I will refer to as Dr. C., who discovered that I had a build-up of several large kidney stones that needed to be removed via lithotripsy. In other words, had I not stood up for myself and gotten a second opinion, I could very well have died or, at the very least, suffered even more due to Wiseman's malpractice.

The irony of his last name still causes me to roll my eyes to this day. Do yourself a favor: choose life and self-dignity, don't ignore your body and intuition, and seek out a better primary doctor.

So, I called to see if I could get an appointment in as a new patient, that's where my whole family goes. The receptionist told me they're not taking new patients right now. Which is fine. But the way she said it was so rude. I hope he gets some new employees because I didn't call to get an attitude, I called to get some medicine for strep throat.

Dr. Wiseman is a caring, pleasant and knowledgeable doctor, if you ever get the chance to see him. His front-office staff, however, need to be replaced or better educated on how to deal with patients. The office receptionist named Jo is unbelievably unpleasant, insensitive and uncaring toward patients when she should be making every effort to assist them with whatever illness or injury is needing attention. Was told I couldn't come in to the after-hours clinic for a painfully clenched muscle (stress-related) that has made it very difficult to sleep the past several days.

No regular appointments were available for several days. Have received the same response when I suffered a painful calf tear -- ended up going to a St. John urgent care clinic for that -- and when I badly cut my hand on a broken dish and was concerned I might need stitches. Was able to consult with a local Dr. who makes house calls for my hand injury and thankfully did not end up needing stitches. Just wish Dr. Wiseman had a bit more flexibility in his schedule and a front-office staff that did not treat patients so poorly.

I work in the direct care field and have been taking a patient to Dr. Wiseman for close to two decades. Even though the wait time is long, Dr. Wiseman does an excellent job at treating my patient. He is easy to converse with and he creates realistic, helpful plans of care. Thank you, Steven. We appreciate you, sir.

Dr. Wiseman is simply the best. Knowledgeable and caring, Dr. Wiseman and his staff are great. The wait is a bit longer than you'd hope for, but it is TOTALLY worth it! I have never, in the 8 years he's been my PCP, felt rushed.
