This latest accreditation awarded demonstrates our facility's ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care in CT. In May of 2019, we achieved a three year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR).
Over the past few years, the management of advanced prostate cancer has become more complex requiring a specialized approach. There have been exciting new and effective treatments for men with advanced prostate cancer, which leads to many questions about how and when to start certain drugs or therapies.
At Urology Surgery Center of Savannah, LLLP, we are able to perform most outpatient urology procedures (including those requiring general anesthesia). Our ambulatory surgery center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and is located on the second floor of our Savannah office location.

Always so caring and compassionate. Miss Rhonda Milas always gets my daddy a wheelchair! She's so attentive! Miss Kathy, one of the nurses, is also so awesome and goes above and beyond! Dr. Shook and his PA are the most amazing doctors and has always taken such good care of my daddy! Highly recommend!

Had a CT scan done, great experience! Super comfy and the nicest staff! The woman who took care of me was very sweet and funny, I can't remember her title or her name but she was great! :

If I could leave zero or negative stars, I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AND THESE DOCTORS. this office is extremely negligent. I had to fight tooth and nail to get my father the correct care after his diagnosis with an extremely rare cancer. It took months of misdiagnosis before they found out what was causing his symptoms. The doctor even made a comment "I should have acted sooner".

I had to beg for catheter bags when his were leaking or broke. I would attend his follow ups and they wouldn't even have his diagnosis in his chart (4 months later). I had to demand a urine culture when he went in with "purple bag syndrome". And you know thank god I did because 4 days later we got a call that he needed antibiotics. When the PA said he didn't need the culture because he wasn't showing symptoms. Yes, this man has stage 4 cancer - why WOULDNT you check for infection to be sure.

The fact that they are the only Uriologists in the Savannah area is absolutely terrifying. Stay away. I mean they had someone walking as the grim reaper on Halloween for Christ sake. Pretty telling. I wouldn't trust them with my dog. Horrible experience. Wish they would be shut down.

Met with Dr. Michigan. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. Scheduled me for a CT scan with dye for my Kidney stones. Ms. Patel was pleasant, placed IV without any difficulties, and my study was done in less than 15 minutes. Very friendly and proficient services.

It's been a couple of weeks since I've been to Urological Associates, had knee surgery and dealing with therapy and all that. But, I had to post better late than never. Sweeney and Mitzi were absolute professionals during my CT scan, First when Sweeney put the initial injection in I felt the tiniest of stings and believe me other than Randy in the lab that had done my blood work previously for follow up on another surgical procedure, she is the best in the business.

Then I go in for the scan an Mitzi was having a problem getting the dye to flow, into the tube; these two ladies worked like a well oiled machine to find the "kink" Sweeney stayed in the room holding the needle she had placed in my arm so it wouldn't move so the dye could flow. Mitzi got the picture she needed and I was done. Wanted to hug these two afterwards, these procedures can be draining for some and for me that day extremely draining, as when I left there I had to go straight to orthopedic doctor to schedule knee surgery as I mentioned above.

By the way sort of got my "hug" it was an air hug but still a hug. Urological Associates are so fortunate these two are on staff. As an afterthought, Everyone and all that I have had contact since last September are truly caring people, they seem to care for the patient. Y'all are AWESOME!

I recently had to have a sample of my blood taken for PSA purposes. The technician, Pooja Patel, was the finest technician that ever took my blood sample. And I have had samples taken a few times a year for several years. I did not feel the needle at all. She was so gentle. A few days later I had blood taken at another facility and it hurt and turned black and blue. Pooja Patel was a pleasure.

Went in today for follow up on elevated PSA number. Had a terrific experience with drawing blood from your lab tech named Christine. She was VERY professional, sweet and great attitude during her process of drawing blood from my arm. Thank you Christine for a painless and pleasant experience today. You are an ANGEL in scrubs.

I finally received new insurance so I could specifically make an appointment with Dr. Boyd. Her next available opening wasn't for months so instead they set me up with her PA Melissa Porter. I've had ongoing problems with my prostate and have tried a few medications which haven't been helping so much lately. Upon arrival it took them over 30 minutes to confirm my insurance and what was covered.

The nurse that was waiting on me to go to the room was incredibly annoyed and rushed me in before giving a urine sample. Melissa came in, listened to all the problems I've been having lately, prescribed me a new drug, and that was it. She didn't even bother to tell me what she was prescribing. When I asked if there was any other procedure besides the "finger" check she told me no, quickly examined, said it was fine, and was out the door.

She never took a single note, didn't seem like she cared at all of what I said, and just threw a prescription on me so everyone could head to lunch. Complete lack of care and a waste of a visit. This has me so incredibly frustrated and it's the only urological center in Savannah. What do I do?

Dr. Ruth Mazo is my doctor and her nurse is Kenya. They are both very compassionate and caring. They make living with Interstitial Cystitis a little easier and I am so grateful for them both. I promise you will not be disappointed if you chose them for your Urological needs!

I can't tell you how mad I am. I went to a consultation in august after waiting 2 months to get one. That was fine. I went in and paid 175 dollars the day of the consultation nobody told me I would be billed for another 113 over the mail for the same consultation. Never heard anything else from them when I was told by the doctor I would get a call to schedule the actual appointment for my procedure.

Then got the 113 dollars sent to collection because I never received the bill until the after it was sent to collection. Which I paid that same day. And would've paid the day of the visit if I would've known but instead now it's affecting my credit. And then I was finally informed how much the procedure would be since I had read they were around 700 dollars I thought maybe up to 1k would be reasonable for a vasectomy instead I was informed it was 3k and the 288 I have already paid won't even go towards that.

I will never do anything with these people. Charging 300 dollars to say hi I'm dr. Thomas snook. Do you have any questions. Lol this is a joke. And a scam. Wouldn't reccomenend at all.
