Its a shame how these places that are suppose to be professional for jobs requiring master degrees or higher. I had several interviews canceled due to scheduling conflicts with them. Finally I had an interview and it seemed disorganized but I went through with it anyway. I asked several times if I am not a candidate please let me know. I was told by several persons that they always contact candidates either way.

They were not the only job I applied to so if they choose someone it would be fine. I never received a call, email, text or smoke signal concerning if they chosen another candidate or not. I emailed them to get an update and crickets. I never heard anything back. I am truly glad I did not get the job due to the poor ratings I seen on various search engines. I did not want to work for a company who lacks basis communication skills! No matter if you are a nurse, tech, or clinician run!

Anyone can complain. However, there truly are amazing staff and things being done daily at this place.

For employment purposes Run away fast. this company is underhanded, preferential and cutthroat. Terrible communication to candidates even after being offered a position papers signed. If you need help as a patient I surely wouldn't go there or recommend it to someone! Trust factor and truthfulness to staff is greatly lacking which doesn't help taking care of those in need. It deserves a zero

They tell you daily that you on the list and they will call you and they never do. We have been calling for over 4 weeks to try and get a level 3 bed I detox and not one person there has been helpful. So I guess no one has left detox for a month? They will not share how to get into this place. Don't waste your time calling this facility.

Look, it's a decent rehab and Carl F is the best staff member there, but the food is absolutely terrible.like, just terrible food--I can't stress enough how awful the food is. Oh, and I just had a year of sobriety this past weekend on Saturday.

Son is there for alcohol detox. He was sent out by ambulance to Einstien Montgomery campus ( another armpit). He returned back to Valley Forge at 5:30 am. Was told he was no longer a patient. Had to be re admitted and stripped search again. They send their patients out by ambulance but do not send any Valley Forge staff to accompany them to the hospital. Was told that they are run by a new medical company. I would not send a dog to detox at this dump.

I went here three years ago, after I OD'd in May of 2018, and was basically told I was going to die if I kept my lifestyle up. I've been to plenty of detox and rehab centers, that were absolutley terrible, had professionals that treated me like an inmate, and overall just made me want to use as soon as I got out of those places. I can happily say, this place changed all of that perspective for me!

The amount of space to walk around, and clear your mind is amazing. There's a basketball court, volleyball sand pit, and they let you go out alot (atleast in 2018 they did). The counselors, and doctors that are always around to help you when needed were amazing. Your case worker was always on call, to help you financially whenever you want! The only issue I ran into, was waiting to see a psychiatrist, in order to get the proper medication, or even the medications I was on at the time.

It does take a couple days (again atleast back in 2018, they may have hired more now) But other than that understandable issue, this place was the one place that had the right atmosphere, professionals, and people in recovery around, too finally get me on the path I needed to be on. I'm here to post a positive reply, since I have negative reviews of other health facilities that are money grab institutions (like Fairmount Behavioral Health) that are absolute hells of rehab centers.

If you want to know what a bad rehab sounds like, go read my review on those rehab centers. I'm happy to say I'm now 3 years clean as of 5/19/21! Thank you everyone at Valley Forge, and I hope anyone reading this gets the help they need to save their own life, like this place saved mine.

I'm trying to get into this place and live an hour away so hoping that if I bring my clothes & stuff they'll accept me. I'm an alcoholic (beer) and really need a place who people are serious about their sobriety. Hoping that it's not about court ordered people who are "just doing their time." Had to rate it but have never been there yet. Sorry, I didn't get back to my review on Valley Forge. I did get accepted and the girl on the phone told me what to do and what to bring. I had a good experience there getting detoxed and am sober now for 7 weeks!

I haven't visited for four years now, but let me just say: if you're like on you're way here, just know that it's not THAT bad. The foods not great, the staff is eh, the place is kinda dirty, but it's not THAT bad. There are definitely nicer rehabs and there are definitely worse. I remember when I was here there was a girl who would sneak into the rooms at night and suck the dudes off.

So that was pretty cool. The medical staff is just OK, they will keep you alive, but don't expect world class medical care. Some dude stole about 5 bucks in change off my side table in my bedroom, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a room mate. Security was unhelpful. All in all it wasn't a horrible stay, and I never wanted to do drugs again, so I had that going for me.
