Absolutely rude staff! I went in for an appointment they wouldn't take my insurance and wouldn't let me pay cash! I wish they would of told me that before I drove over an hour to that appointment. There is way better OBGYN'S out there and I should have went to them.

7 months in and I haven't met with a Dr. They called me back once and then awkwardly asked me to go back to the lobby because the room hadn't been cleaned from the previous patient. My pregnancy has been high risk and I have been going to this "Dr" since the start of my pregnancy, yet everytime I go there or call in to schedule an appointment, they have no clue who I am or what's going on. Worst place ever!

Really pushy on receiving payment even though I have received zero information from them about blood work being done or information for reason of visit, real professionals.

I was a patient with VWFW back in 2018 when I was pregnant with my first and using the midwifery services. They have an incredible program, Family Circle headed up by Kate Lakritz. You break up into groups of families who are due the same month and have a class once a week with wonderful guest speakers. It's a great program to meet other women going through the same journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

The classes are fun, informative, and a great space to ask any and all questions. As a first time mom it was such a support to have Kate and the rest of the group to learn from. I would 10/10 recommended joining if you're a current OB or midwife patient! Even now 3 years later we keep in touch with Kate and some of the parents from the group!

I was injected with the wrong vaccine at the Mercy Gilbert location of Valley Women for Women while I was pregnant. The only reason the office found out about this mistake is because I noticed it. My vaccination card had a different vaccine on it (one that I would have never needed or wanted). I called the office manager to find out the lot number and confirm it was the wrong vaccine. Always make sure to double check labels before letting anyone put something in your body.

DO NOT COME HERE! One, they never answer the phone and if you leave a message they never follow up. Second, the front desk will schedule appointments to then call you to let you know that they need to reschedule. I had two appointments scheduled to see the doctor, both were rescheduled because she (Dr. Belisle) had scheduled surgery. Throughout the WHOLE pregnancy, I met with Dr. Belisle twice.

Don't expect to meet with your doctor. POST BABY- I scheduled my post op 6 week visit with Dr. Belisle, not once was it mentioned on the phone that I could not bring my son with me to my appointment. I was turned away at the door! As a mother, I felt incredibly upset that my health was unimportant because I brought my baby with me. They are unsympathetic and have no regard for Mommies, do they not understand what it takes to get a baby ready, yourself ready and to be on time to your appointment to just be turned away. UNACCEPTABLE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY ARE NOT FOR WOMEN.

I wish I could give zero stars. I've waited for an ultra sound for months to see if I have ovarian cancer they've been booked so I finally got a spot 3 months after I knew. They bombard you with calls emails and texts to confirm your appointment but when the day comes they'll call you an hour before you're appointment to tell you they somehow forgot to book your ultrasound which is the whole reason for your appointment.

They wouldn't answer my calls I had to psychically drive down there and ask to speak with someone. It was useless they do not care about your health one bit. They couldn't schedule me and said I'd have to wait months again. They do not care about you at all they just tell you they're booked and make your wait months for literally nothing. I work 60 hours a week I had to beg for this time off from my job to make sure I don't have CANCER and this location just blew me off like I'm coming in for an annual check up. Just save yourself time and sanity and go to an OBGYN that actually care about your health and know how to properly make appointments.

"Alleged" (for legal reasons) HIPPA VIOLATION I am not here to tell you to go one way or the other. I am here to simply share my experience. Valley Women for Women released over 200 pages of my unredacted medical records to the AZ Department of Child Safety in 2020. These medical records included a very personal and embarrassing diagnosis that was released to all DCS workers and any party in my case (lawyers, paralegals, anyone w/ access to the court files).

My DCS case is now dismissed and only opened due to false claims made by DCS employees themselves. As I went through the hardest battle I have faced to date, Valley Women for Women assisted in one of the most violating instances I have experienced. The violation has been under investigation by the Office of Civil Rights for over 3 months. I am awaiting their final findings as it is a process.

I have communicated with the office on this matter with no remorse regarding their doings. The release of information only gave Rights to information that could pertain to my DCS case. The case was not regarding my pregnancies or any kind of drug dependency (which it would make sense if it did). I contacted DCS for assistance after leaving an unsafe marriage.

It makes zero sense why Valley Women for Women wasn't able to review the restrictions placed on the subpoena for information signed by the judge. I am embarrassed and forever changed by what was done to me.

Everyone at the office is friendly and helpful! The office itself is very nice and welcoming. I was surprised to learn they could do a same day ultrasound for me, very convenient. I really do feel that Michelle cares and truly wants to help. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Wow! My GF just went in for her yearly exam which is stressful enough. I only say this from a truly epithetic and observational perceptive. Especially in our household, well any doctor's visit for that matter. GF comes home after the appointment in a complete frazzle and states we need to go to the emergency room because of elevated blood pressure.

Upon further investigation, prior to seeing the Doctor one of the medical assistants comes in and asks her "how long have you felt the baby kick"? This is the point the heart palpitations began, she responds "I'm not pregnant" as this is a very real fear for my GF. The assistant appears as though she's swallowed a bug and proceeds to high-tale it out of the examining room.

The best part is this story, "Let us take your blood pressure now!" Yes, you guess it elevated. My GF is told to call her primary care physician and double up on her blood pressure medication. Or better yet race to the emergency room because you're going to die from a heart attack. Positive note, the exam went well and she is good for another year.

Negative we will need therapy and triple bypass before the next visit. Might need to tighten the old belt down there and work on some bedside manner. Hey, I was fair with a 2-star review under the circumstances.

Do not go here. The staff is laughably unhelpful. Just google how to give birth over going here. They booked me for an appointment later in the day- and I walked in 3 minutes late (Bc I arranged my work schedule to accommodate the appointment). Being late is not good but they checked me in (everything was packed up and shut down for the day already) made me sit there for 5 minutes and then told me because I was late they would not see me and the doctor had already left for the day.

I completely understand if someone is egregiously late or habitually late. I am talking THREE MINUTES. That's bold especially because I have ALWAYS had to wait for them running behind for me. I have never been to such an unprofessional establishment. Additionally, when I show up on time (every time except this one), the doctor walks in the room and asks, "OK so what questions do you have?" And then stares at me blankly. THAT'S IT!

I would be better off googling how to prepare for birth. My Ovia app is more engaging and informative. It is such a rip off going here. Save yourself the terrible experience and frustration.and lack of consideration.

This place is kind of old, it's been around a while and it shows. They checked my temp at the door and of course required face coverings. The staff is so friendly and nice tho, I couldn't even think of going anywhere else. I see Dr Elizabeth and has the sweetest manner about her and settles all of my nerves best she can. I'm on my third or fourth IUD (TMI?) and have had zero issues and zero periods! Highly recommend this location and the Mirena IUD too.

**I don't reccomend this place for expectant moms who already have kids** The doctor I had was great but the staff makes for a terrible experience. I scheduled an appointment the day before and I was NOT informed that they don't allow children (not even one child). My husband was working and I couldn't afford a baby sitter so I brought my daughter.

I was refused medical care because I had my 1 child with me, and we were both wearing masks! Absolutely ridiculous. even though I like the doctor, I'll be taking my care elsewhere.

My provider recommended I get a mammogram due to my age and the fact that a first degree relative had breast cancer AND my grandma dies from breast cancer at 33. Due to CoVid, I had to wait to get my exam. So, I have my mammogram appointment and the requisition has expired, so I need a new one. Sounds simple right? Wrong. My provider has left the practice and no other provider would write for one until I saw them, which my insurance won't cover as it has been less than a year.

How many times do we hear about the importance of getting this test?!? No wonder women die from breast cancer when they can't even get a screening. I would run from this practice and I am an APRN.

I wish there was something less than 1 star. This hospital is bewitched and my oby doctor Steffenhagen Kaitlyn was sooooooo fraudulent. Dr. Steffenhagen Kaitlyn is good at doing D&C surgery she is not good at helping women for child birth. I lost 2 pregnancies in the space of 6 months at Valley for women hospital and they could not give me a good reason why it happened. Patients beware of Valley for women hospital most especially doctor Steffenhagen Kaitlyn.

She is a bad doctor. I lost my pregnancy in her care, to avoid doing D&C surgery after the miscarriage, I opted for the medication to get the pregnancy tissue out of me, after using the medication for 4 weeks, I was in and out of Steffenhagen Kaitlyn hospital going in and out for ultrasound to check if all the tissues were out of my uterus. After 4 weeks of this back and forth Steffenhagen Kaitlyn end up scheduling me for a D&C surgery at an out of network hospital eventhough she could do the D&C surgery at her hospital which was in my insurance network.

I requested for a change of hospital, Dr. Steffenhagen Kaitlyn tricked me to go to the emergency room for the surgery and she later called the emergency doctor not to do the D&C surgery on me that she will see me at the main hospital for the D&C surgery. Few weeks after I got a bill of $1175 & $683 from the emergency for the visit for going into the emergency room with no medical care received there.

I was tricked by my doctor Steffenhagen Kaitlyn to go to the emergency room for no reason and for no care provided and now I was charged $1175 & $683. Valley women hospital is a bad hospital and there's something weird about this hospital. I lost 2 pregnancies in the space of 6 months as a patient while going to this hospital. I had friends that had similar experiences at Valley for women hospital.

To make matters worse they charge me $1175 & $683 for no emergency care done, thanks to Dr. Steffenhagen Kaitlyn for tricking me to go to the emergency room for no reason. Doctor Steffenhagen Kaitlyn is the worst doctor ever. She can not explain to me what happened why I lost the second pregnancy because she does not know her job. The irony of it was that she did the two D&C surgery on me for the 2 miscarriages and the 2 pregnancies that I lost as a patient at Valley for women hospital.

Doctor Steffenhagen Kaitlyn is good at doing D&C surgery. For real women that want babies stay away from doctor Steffenhagen Kaitlyn and from Valley for women hospital. The doctor is bad and Valley for women hospital is bad s well. Patient name Temilade Ogunro

I only went to this office because my mom has been coming here for years so obviously i trusted that they would listen and try their best to help with any issues or concerns. The first time i came was for birth control and the gyno i saw suggested the depo shot because i preferred not to take pills, from what i remember she did not explain any side effects that the shot may cause and it ended up cause many problems which i ended up having to do research on my own and find out many other women have experienced the same problems.

I eventually stopped getting it because of how bad i started to feel. A bit after i started having other issues, it started out similar to the way a UTI would feel and i went back to see if they could help and they couldn't figure out what was wrong because it came back negative for a UTI so they just tried antibiotics thinking it was something else, the antibiotics didn't help.

The pain started getting worse and then i started getting pain in my lower back, sharp pains in my pelvic area and i went back several times just to be told they don't know what's wrong with me, they just tried to keep putting me on birth control when i expressed i did not want to be on it, and not once did they give me a referral to a urologist.

After going so many times and them obviously not knowing what's wrong I would think that they would at least think of sending me to a urologist or something. i felt like i wasn't being listened to or taken seriously and i had to deal with pain for over a year with no explanation up until a few months ago i went to a normal primary care doctor and immediately gave me a referral to a urologist and turns out i most likely have Interstitial Cystitis.

I usually don't like to leave negative reviews but when it comes to someone's health and they're in extreme pain crying and it's affecting their daily lives and you go to a doctor hoping that they will do their best to help you and for over a year nothing gets solved it's really frustrating and disappointing.

This is the first OB I've been to that listened to me and made me feel at peace. I'm pregnant with my first child and I have never felt out of place or unwelcome here, everyone from the front office to the doctors are such sweet welcoming women. It's actually made me excited to go to doctors appointments, which is rare for me to say considering I'm often anxious around doctors and medical offices. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else, they get you in and out quickly and genuinely care/listen to your concerns.

I just moved to the area from Los Angeles and was 3 months pregnant. I was looking for a really good OBGYN in the area. With that being said, it's extremely stressful being pregnant, moving out of state, finding new insurance and a new doctor. Oh and not to mention, a first time expectant mother. I picked this location as it had Dr. Connors and the OBs deliver at Banner Gateway and that's the hospital we chose to deliver at for the birth.

Each visit was great, nothing to complain about. A few visits they were running behind and I had to wait, but that's not unusual for me as I had Kaiser and they definitely run behind every time. I really enjoyed Dr. Connors and Dr. Mills. The nurse who draws blood at this location is a pro (huge wimp and hate needles). I switched insurances AGAIN during my pregnancy and never had an issue with billing.

Everyone was extremely friendly. The only complaint I have is that at my week 38 or week 39 visit, I was scheduling the following weeks visit and requested Dr. Connors. I was told "she no longer" works there. That is extremely disappointing that I wasn't told ahead of time. I know the doctors rotate shifts for delivery but I tried to always see her. Anyways, Dr. Holmquist ended up delivering our baby girl and she was amazing. I will definitely come back here for any OB service has long as those women still practice there at that time.

I have been a patient at this location for 4 years, and each time I visit, I am left asking myself why I come here. Every appointment I have had has run behind, once upwards of an hour. I was left in the waiting room without a heads up or acknowledgement of their poor time management and apparent scheduling conflicts. They have violated HIPAA by sending my mother (the insurance policy holder at the time) my test results, addressed to her- not me, the patient.

Another HIPPA violation I noticed was another patients health information (summary of care I believe, included their personal identifying information, mediations, etc.) sitting on top of the trash can in the exam room I was escorted to (of course way later than my scheduled appointment time). After my exam I pointed this out to the MA who just shoved the paper into the trash can. regardless if the patient left this there or not, that is LEGALLY not how you handle personal health information.

The bedside manner of their NP's is "good enough", at best. The last straw for me was this; I called the triage line on a Friday morning 10:30AM (calls made before 2pm will be returned the same day according to the answering message). It is now Wednesday of the following week and no one has returned my call. Seek quality care elsewhere.

Highly recommend this practice. Dr. Mills, Dr. Connors, Dr Holmquist and one of the nurse practitioners, Shauna, I saw throughout my 2 pregnancies were exceptional. Thanks to their knowledge, patience, experience, and evidence-based practice, I have 2 beautiful, healthy baby boys. You are in good hands!

I've been going to VWFW for at least 4 years. I've had pretty good experiences at the Val Vista office, but during this pregnancy I decided to try a different hospital whose doctors practice out of the Gilbert office. This is my 3rd time coming here & today I decided I will not return to THIS particular office due to their unprofessionalism.

Each time I've come I've had appointments, today I wasn't seen until 45 freaking minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment(last time I wasn't seen until an HOUR AFTER I arrived)! Quite annoying that they can never be on time! I've only encountered 2 employees that have been courteous/nice. The waiting room is small & you get to hear EVERYTHING! from appointments being made, to personal questions being asked to callers, followed up by the employees talking trash on said patients.

The bathrooms today were absolutely awful! Paper towels falling out of the full trash cans, the smell was putrid in there and there were 4 samples left in the pick up window. It seriously smells & looks like a gas stations restroom. When the doctor finally came to see me (Dionne something) she didn't ask how I was doing, how things were going, if I had any questions, nothing, but was 100% pressuring me into getting a vaccine I do not need since I had already received it in previous pregnancy.

I found her to be rude & now has me reconsidering going to the hospital of my choice to give birth. I would recommend going to the Val Vista office if you were interested in being a patient at Valley Women. Heed my warning!

I have been visiting Valley Women For Women for only a couple of months but have never had a bad experience! My NP (Kristen Branche) always makes me comfortable, answers any questions I may have and I leave the establishment feeling well cared for. Visiting the gynecologist isn't exactly an exciting or fun experience but the staff here has always treated me with care and compassion. I've recommended this specific location to a couple of my girlfriends.

Fradulant insurance billing. Went in for a wellness checkup and they billed me and my insurance for 2 different office visits. Went to them for both of my children through the midwife side and never had an issue. The first time I went to the gyno side they kept over billing and over charging.

I came in to my first appointment here and was in that appointment for maybe 5 min tops which I had to miss work for to attend. I expressed my concerns about an issue I have been having for years and the lady would cut me off and not even let me fully explain. She said I needed to come back to see a doctor and get an ultra sound (which I have taken several of and offered to have it faxed but they said they would prefer to do their own).

I then went back for my second appointment (which I had to again be late for work to attend) where I once again saw the same lady who was from the first time (I didn't even know she was a doctor it was so brief the first time) where she once again hurried me along and came back with a "solution" that was so simple and obvious it was insulting she hadn't thought that was recommended to me before.

At this point I asked a few questions and she once again cut me off and left to give me a pamphlet which she said would explain everything to me. I was in the room with her for 4 min. I felt like a cow being moved along quickly so they could see the next one. I would not waste your time here unless you're going in for something simple. If you have any concerns and especially if you have any questions, don't waste your time.

And believe me your time will be wasted. *Editing this review now. A coworker of mine suggested I look up the doctors to see if I even saw a doctor. I saw a nurse practitioner both times, so when I had to come back and see the "doctor" it wasn't even a doctor. I am very disappointed and feel very tricked. I usually don't write this kind of thing but I truly want to warn other women.

I've gone to the Gilbert location multiple occasions including for prenatal with my first born healthy boy. I was so surprised to learn that the front desk lady Lupe remembered me after almost 4 years and was so very sweet and compassionate when she had learned I had miscarried the next few visits. The only complaint I can really give is that the "blood lady" seemed always on edge and a bit scary to approach.

She made it seem like patients were an interruption to her day. I decided to try a new location today in Chandler (215 location) as the other location started to bring back too many memories of my recent miscarriages. I was greeted with smiles at the front desk and even in the hallways from all who passed me, the wait time was amazingly fast, and no one in the waiting room.

The doctor seemed to listen to my concerns and their blood lady to my surprise was very personable and we shared some laughs. I can't wait to continue my care with Valley Women.
