Negative 5 for this hospital! Stay away from this hospital! Absolute abuse! How they are allowed to operate is beyond me! OK Owner, I called the number and left message but no call back. Unacceptable! I'm so tired of putting up with abuse by your hospital/rehab facility! And you don't care!

I have been sitting in a chair for 6 hours and I am not joking. My neice is beginning to become reastiless so I am playing with her. And the waiting room is big enough to "play". My brother just was born and a nurse walks up and says "This is not a place for playing now sit down". My aunt said "I completely understand" and then the lady threatened us with security. Do not come here unless you're turned on by bad customer service.

This hospital has very poor quality of everything. Dirty rooms, staff that doesn't communicate, doctors orders that are not followed and policies that are not enforced. I have not heard ONE success story from this place. I've know more people to die here than to be discharged. Stay away, Drive to Shand's.

Came to the ER because my friend had an accident with a motorized scooter this past Friday. The nurses were rude, I saved one of her teeth that was broken and the nurse proceeded to say there was nothing they could do and then she threw out the tooth in front of me. Come to find out two days later when seen by a REAL doctor (not a phony TMH one) that her lip had been ripped off of her jaw bone and required stitches.

Something a nurse would notice had they taken the proper steps to actually help my friend. Now she has to wait a month to do any oral work to her mouth. Also, there was still road debris in her mouth after her fall TODAY, which is another thing these awful doctors didn't notice. If you're in need of actual medical help, do yourself the favor and drive the extra mile to ANYWHERE ELSE. AWFUL hospital.

There are many issues I have with the hospital's practices, from admission to discharge. I will give a few. I presented to the ER with severe pain in the chest and back. Asked for pain relief. It was hours before any pain meds were administered. Asked for apple juice as my throat was parched. Took forever to receive the juice as each person to whom I made this request said they did not have authorization.

Finally made it to my inpatient room. The bed had no sheets, just the pee pad. I was not given a gown to change into, and the first night slept (or tried to) in my street clothes. My belongings were not inventoried or secured in a locker. This is SOP. The medical personnel who treated me were in sloppy street attire. No white or blue gowns with names and licensure info.

Never knew, in most cases, who I was speaking to or if they were MD's, RN's, CNAs, or some amorphous "tech." I could go on, but you get the picture. Although I was in no condition to watch TV because of the pain, I took this photo to show that the room had not been updated since the 1970's.

My daughter was in a car accident and was 38 weeks pregnant instead of her going to triage she was taken to ER left in a room 5 1/2 hours before they even done an ultrasound on my grandson. Needless to say my grandson was dead. I honestly hate TMH

If I could give the ER a negative star I would. My college kid was in there for 7 hours with a fever, no tylenol was given, discharged with a fever and told it was a virus. I did not want to go to this hospital but was referred by the dr to go there. lesson learned I will listen to my gut next time. absolutely awful, impersonal, negative stars

On 1/25/22 I had an appointment to Dr. Kristina Akopyan at TMH Internal Medicine Residency Program located at 1300 Mikosukee Rd, Tallahassee, Fl. While I was waiting in a room to see the doctor a woman who works in this place -her name is TERRY NELSON- appears in state of anger accusing me that I using the service of two doctors of a private insurance company.

While I was trying to talk in a civilized manner to tell her I use only Medicare Ins. she didn't allow Dr. Akopyan to see me. I was in a deep pain and needed medications. In addition I suffer of hypertension and I was very ill. Nelson came to the room screaming loud asking me to live or she will call the security to open the doors and said don't ever come back.

I complaint to the Patience Experience dpt. spoke to Ms Lyn not allowing to go to the medical facility to see Dr. Akopyan. It is shame in the way an elderly 87 years old and hispanic I have been treated worse than animal. Nelson still working in the facility. This woman is a menace in this or in any kind of civilized society. This type of people like Nelson or those who support her, destroy the image and reputation of a medical Institution such as TMH Internal Medicine of Tallahassee, Florida.

I am literally in the ER right now. My child had a seizure due to her meds being days late at Walgreens. We've been here since a little after 12 noon and just now at 4 pm, she's getting her PTU dose. Excuse after excuse. She seriously got worse sitting in here. She was aware and responsive in the ambulance, but not so much anymore. Will not be coming back here.

If I could give this place one star I would. This place is a sorry excuse for a hospital! My father in law was life flighted to TMH after falling 40 feet out of a tree. We tried calling for an update while we were traveling to get to him only to be told they didn't have him. Coming to find out, when he came in they just put him under a random name! We were there for 24 hours and NEVER met with a doctor to discuss the extent of his injuries. We had to leave for the night left completely in the dark on his condition.

Told front desk of ER that I couldn't breathe, they told me to stop pretending like I couldn't breathe. I know ditches that would let you die with more dignity. If you have a real medical problem, drive to Atlanta or Jacksonville or some place with people that will actually help you. Edit: Would recommend capitol regional. 5 minutes more of a drive and much better than here

It has taken me over a year to write a review on the horrible experience I had with my uncle who was dying. His Dr's were horrible. So rude with no compassion. The things said to him on his death bed and the way he was treated broke my heart. Brian the hospital administrator AKA the little maggot came in daily to try and throw us out. What I learned is that dying doesn't pay.

Sick pays but not dying. When they were done with all the tests and running up the bill they wanted him out! He had great insurance and the insurance company told me he was covered as long as he was there. He needed care. He needed care that I could not give him. I finally got him into the Hospice House and he died three hours later. Just enough time for him to be bathed given fresh clothes and treated with dignity.

I hope I never have to step foot in TMH again. I have a lot of guilt that his last days were spent being treated the way he was. I will say that the nurses were wonderful. They were very kind and sweet and I think embarrassed by what they witnessed. I told the little maggot that one day he or someone he loves will be looking up from their death bed and I hope better for them. Karma's tough though.

My son was admitted thru the emergency room for DVT blood clots. Was given dr Lawrence Kaelin. He was brought down to surgical unit at 6:30am and was not taken until around 3 or 3:30pm. 8, almost 9 hours. We were given bs excuses and the procedure we were there for was never done. The next day my 19 year old son had questions and had never met or spoken to the surgeon.

Well Dr. Kaelin refused to call or come to his room and said to the nurse and his attending physician that he refused to continue treating him and to find another surgeon. He said i was rude to his nurse and I never spoke to anyone at his office. Rude, rude is never meeting or talking to your patient. Rude is dropping your patient knowing full well that there are no other surgical groups able to perform this surgery in the area. What an egotistical narcissist. Karma will get you Dr. Kaelin!

My husband ended up in your ED again last night 9/12. He was passing out, sliding down the wheelchair at the front desk while he was waiting for me to park my car, he nearly fell on the floor and the front desk staff or the security guard was not even tying to help him or call for help. My husband is an amputee, was lethargic and could seriously hurt himself but no one was wven attempted to intervene.

When my husband was brought in triage, he slid down from the wheelchair to the floor. The staff wasn't concerned at all. From the time we put our feet in your facility last night, all of your staff gave nothing but excuses by telling us, "we are doing our best". Did you train them to say that? No sympathy or urgency were witnessed among your staff and not concerned about patient safety. What a terrible practice! ***File your complaint with Joint Commission, AHCA, and Florida Health which are external organizations to accredit hospitals

I am literally in tears because my daughter called me earlier today that she was coughing up orange mucus and had an excruciating headache. I asked her to go to the ER thinking she'd receive the best care. She walked in at 7:30 PM and left at midnight without being seen by a doctor. The nurse was extremely rude and did not provide any communication.

It's the worst care ever received from a medical facility. Do NOT send your kids here. They will leave them last as they know they are defenseless. It's sad to think someone could be so inconsiderate and lack compassion this much. I am appalled.

Was at TMH and went thru the ER. I am sick with a severe condition. They got an Iav started and did chest PA and drew labs. I asked several times to Pleas give me fluids due to nausea etc and no appetite. They pretended I wasn't even there. Was going to be admitted and changed my mind and DC myself. If they can't hang just fluids and mark me sit and wait 4 hours it was one of their worse days. No excuses civid makes them busy etc. Patient to nurse ratio stays the same. Hope I don't have to be admitted there again.

Waited 2 hours for them to run a urine sample after all other treatment was finished. They told me the urine sample had been ran and we'd be ready to go within 20 minutes. Now it's two hours later and we're still waiting. No one ever knows what's going on and quite frankly most (not all) of the nurses are lazy or have attitudes toward patients.

The quickness speed and care in emergency was amazing. I have never been in a hospital emergency so we'll organized. Disappointed with a stroke they couldn't get my MRI done until the following day. Nursing and care givers could not have been better. Only critique would be on housekeeping. I know the Bathroom floor was not mopped for 3 days because of mud on the floor from a visitor.
