Utah Valley Pediatrics is the result of the hard work and vision of the very first pediatricians practicing in Utah County. What makes us the best pediatricians in Utah County? The first board certified pediatrician to come to Utah County was Dr. R.H. Wakefield, who set up his practice in 1948. Soon after, Dr. Thales Smith and Dr. Lyman Olsen joined Dr. Wakefield at the Medical Center offices on North University Avenue, on the site of what is now our Provo North University office.During the decade of the 60's, Dr. Moreno Robins and Dr. Stuart Slingerland began practicing with the original three pediatricians.
Dr. Adams is a pediatrician and a father of eight children who loves BYU sports, gardening, and Thai food. He views pediatric care as a partnership with parents and wants to help kids grow up healthy. Dr. Allen enjoys trivia, sports, and caring for his four kids. He's passionate about children's physical and mental health and has personal experience with parenting multiples.

I have always liked this office because of how quickly I can get an appointment for my children. That being said- I suggest taking appointments with all of the Dr's you can at first, so that you can find your preferred Dr- because I can't recommend every Dr here. Be careful as they DO charge you for appointments that you're too late for.

We love Dr. McCoy! Our little guys is a little medically complex and Dr. McCoy is very knowledgeable about his diagnosis and makes sure at every appointment that we are seeing all the specialists we need to be seeing. He is great at answering questions and we never feel rushed! Can't say enough how much we love Dr. McCoy and this entire office!

We love Utah Valley Pediatrics! We always are so well taken care of. The nurses are top notch, kind, and so helpful. Dr Lauret is one of the very bests. He goes above and beyond to make sure your child is getting the best care. Nothing slips through the cracks with him. He works with medicine, his expertise, and your own mother's intuition to provide care best for your child. We love him and the whole staff!

We have been using UVP for 6 years now. Dr. Adams is amazing! My favorite Doctor there. The others available are also great. All of them show great concern and genuine love for the kiddos and are always very helpful. Dr Adams has never been pushy about medications, lackfull in knowledge about whatever it is we're being seen for and has always been great with my girls.
He takes time to get to know the family and his staff is equally as great. I travel from American Fork to se these guys and do so without question. Highly recommend this office to any family

We love these doctors! They always have (or will find) an appointment if needed, and it feels like they truly care about our family and kids. We recently had to go several times in one week because of a mysterious illness my daughter couldn't quite get over, and they always made us feel comfortable and welcome, while walking me through all the possible scenarios of how to help her get better in a clear and comforting way.
