Doctors and staff are great. They are courteous, and do the best they can to help you. My whole family has been coming here for years.

Initial visit was great, however, the clinic is now refusing to give my contact prescription. They are refusing to release without purchasing contacts through them, or committing to do my next exam with them. Had to open a case with FTC just to get resolved. Very disappointing, wouldn't recommend.

I really liked the eye doctor that I saw here, Doctor Elizabeth Powers was so professional yet solicitous, it was a pleasure to be seen by her! She had lots of good advice and the medicine that she prescribed me worked!

10/10 Would get dilated here. After moving I found myself needing an eye exam and was not looking forward to a new doctor's office. Dr. Powers was phenomenal and the office staff was pleasant and engaging. Never did I feel rushed or hurried and was treated with great humor and courtesy. Plenty of parking as well.

Dr. powers is hands down the best eye doctor I've been to. I was out in about an hour and spent most of that time with the doctor. The office is great and everyone is very attentive. Such an easy pleasant experience!

I can't recommend this place highly enough! Front desk was friendly and everybody was clearly in a good mood. Kate was supremely helpful in getting the right glasses for me. And where do I even start with how awesome Dr. Powers is! She made a difficult (at least for somebody with an old brain injury) eye exam fun, and is clearly an expert at what she does. Great bedside manner, efficient, and professional. I have only good things to say about my experience, and am looking forward to continuing care here.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I'm recovering from a concussion caused by a car accident and am sensitive to light. They made sure to ask if lights were too bright, or if they needed to close the blinds to make me comfortable. Dr. Powers was great! She's very personable and explains everything in detail. She made me feel very comfortable and taught me a lot about my healing process. Thank you Dr. Powers and staff, I appreciate your caring spirit.

This was my first eye exam, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in. The women at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly when I arrived. I saw Dr. Powers who was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. She made me feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing. I definitely recommend seeing her.

At the end of my visit the optician helped me pick out glasses. I was nervous because I had never worn glasses before and wasn't sure which ones looked best. She helped me "shop" by bringing me options and giving her opinion on what looked best. I was very appreciative.

Northwest Eye Care Professionals (Hillsboro office) have been great in diagnosing and helping to treat vision issues I've been struggling with that caused a lot of eyestrain, brain fog and fatigue over the past few years. They asked lots of questions and did many tests that the ordinary eye doctors don't and were able to write a prescription with prisms that lined up the vision in my right and left eye.

This has helped me SO MUCH! I have been able to go through months of piled up paperwork, clean my garage, repair my dishwasher and generally move though life more easily. It's really unbelievable what we learn to tolerate and live with when we don't have other options available to us. It's also really unbelievable how much can change when we can have a proper diagnosis and aids like glasses that actually address our visual deficits.

My insurance covered the doctors appointments but did not cover the glasses themselves. They were significantly more than I have paid in the past for "regular" prescriptions but the difference these lenses have made in my life made it totally worth paying out of pocket. After having my glasses for about two months, my cat played with my glasses during the night and I managed to step on them because I wasn't expecting to find them on the floor at the foot of my bed.

I cried thinking how long it would take to reorder new glasses and panicked thinking of how hard it would be to go back to life with the brain fog and fatigue. I called the office and they were able to reorder new lenses and to restring the chipped lenses that had been stepped on so that I could still wear these while the new order comes in. Everyone in this office has been great to work with.

I have not had any unexpected billing issues. I have not had to spend time on hold trying to get a live person, and I have not had difficulty scheduling appointments. I only wish insurance would cover more services and the glasses themselves.
