We strive to provide all aspects of complete women's healthcare, ranging from midwifery pregnancy services to advanced pelvic surgery. A DHR laboratory is conveniently located in the same plaza as our office, consistent with our "one stop shop" approach.

Services
At the Women's Clinic of South Texas we believe prenatal care should be accessible, informative, and fun. Patients are encouraged to ask questions and feel comfortable talking to their doctor about any pregnancy issues that may arise. All up to date guidelines for prenatal care are followed to keep the highest standard of care including screening tests and fetal ultrasound assessment.
Accessing prenatal care can be overwhelming. At the Women's Clinic of South Texas, we hope to alleviate some stress by offering free urine pregnancy tests. Walk-ins are welcome! For a nominal fee, trained staff are available to assist you in preparing and filing applications for programs if uninsured.
Age specific pap smear screenings are typically performed during our annual wellness exams. Abnormal pap smears are evaluated by colposcopy per ASCCP guidelines. If colposcopy is concerning for severe cervical dysplasia, i.e. high risk for cervical cancer in the future, we would recommend a Loop Electrode Excision Procedure (LEEP) to remove the precancerous lesion.

Dr. Sandra is great! I immediately felt comfortable with her. She's very genuine. She goes above & beyond. I feel safe in her hands. I did lots of research to find the right doctor for me (I don't have insurance so I can go anywhere I want) and when I chose her, I felt good about my decision. She even exceeded my expectations. I'm so relieved I found Dr. Sandra.
I wish there were more Doctors like her. I haven't been as fortunate finding a pcp. Thankfully she's able to help me with what I would need a pcp for and I greatly appreciate that. She's much more than an OBGYN.

Horrible clinic. They kicked out my wheel chair bound mother because they are not patient friendly and don't allow anyone along with the patient. Talk about "patient care" I can't speak on the doctors, I've heard wonderful things about Dr Chisholm, and I'm disappointed to not get to meet and work with him. I am going through one of the hardest times of my life; and forcing us to wait outside or forcing me while pregnant to wheel my mother back out into the parking lot and leave her in the car is unacceptable. Bad staff, bad policy. I hope the doctors get control of this situation. Disgusted that patient care is not prioritized at this clinic.

My review has nothing to do with the doctors or the nurses! I saw Dr Chisholm and I absolutely recommend him. He is highly knowledgeable and professional, you are definitely in good hands. Unfortunately his front stuff missed the mark to my experience at the Clinic. From the moment I walk in I was advice I need to wear a mask which I understand. I just so happen to not have one on me so I kindly asked the lady if they would have one for me.
Not only she bluntly said they don't but they told me their other patients walk across the street and buy one from Dollar General. I found that to be such poor service, especially since it's seems to be a common practice to sent patients across the street! I really find it hard to believe the office can't afford extra masks just in case one of the visiting patients happen to not have theirs in hand. Is the least courtesy you could show. Lucky one of the ladies in the waiting room had extra masks and was kind enough to share with me not one but two. That spare me the trip across the street.

This was my first pregnancy and overall always enjoyed each of my visits. The staff and nurses are nice and have everyone's safety in mind, by always doing COVID screenings before entering the building and testing if necessary. Dr. Sandra is a great doctor! Very attentive, informative, understandable and down to earth. She always answered to any of my questions and, concerns I had through my pregnancy and postpartum. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome stuff! They're very professional. The wait time to see the doctor isn't very long. I'm usually out within 30-40 mins. Dr. Chisholm is amazing he listens to your concerns and takes his time with his patients. I highly recommend this place, I have been coming here for years and it definitely has changed a lot.

I recommend this facility if you are wanting providers who explain things clearly and are here to help you. Dr. Chisholm and Dr. Sandra are super sweet and professional. Both are very good at what they do and are open to hearing about anything that is concerning you. The staff members are very kind and will make you feel welcomed to the clinic. Overall, I think if you decide to go here you are making a good decision.

Been coming to this clinic for 4-5 years and I have noticed the positive changed the clinic has made overtime. The staff is so helpful and I feel like they care. Thank you nurse Delma for treating me with kindness and always going out of your way for me and other patients! Dr. Chisholm preformed my surgery after I needed it for years and I would do it again as he is very respectful and polite and always gives you the time of day. Also my cut healed very neatly. Thank you doctors and staff of South Texas Women's clinic for taking care of me over the years.
