Services
Looking for a Pediatrician? Are you feeling sick and need to see a doctor but it is the weekend or evening? Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's is here for you with locations in Bonney Lake, Puyallup and South Hill. We're open early and stay open late for you and your family. We also offer two Urgent Care - Walk-in Clinics to treat both children and adults.
Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's provides primary medical care for your child in a way that evaluates the entire picture of infant and adolescent growth and development. The Well Child visit is an opportunity for your pediatrician to monitor your child's growth and for you to address any questions or concerns about your child's behavior, development or general well-being.
We understand that kids get sick at the most inopportune time. We know that it's not always easy to schedule that last minute appointment with your pediatrician. And, what do you do on a Sunday afternoon and you start getting sick and your primary care provider is unavailable? Convenience Care by Woodcreek is staffed by highly trained Family Practice and Pediatrics providers (MD, DO, PA-C, ARNP's).
You've booked a virtual appointment with your pediatrics provider, but we need you to do a couple of things to get ready for it: please take your child's temperature and check their weight, if possible. Also, having a flashlight available if your child is complaining of a sore throat is helpful, and a pen and paper can be handy for taking notes.

Nursing staff and PA were top notch. Quick appointment even handled a pharmacy problem. Check in procedure is a little quirky as they don't let you inside until they text you but once you know that it's actually convenient to sit in your car.

I've been trying to call to get another appointment to get my knee checked out and it's been almost two months since I hurt my knee and spoke to a doctor there. They asked me to make a follow up appointment which I've been trying to but everything I call I'm waiting for nearly one-two hours for a receptionist to answer the phone. Seriously not worth my time and I think I'll be switching clinics. This is definitely the worst experience I've had with a clinic.

If I could give them zero stars I would! After my grandson's appointment the staff made my son wait outside for a ride home with his newborn son in hand in 34°, snow on the ground weather. He even tried explaining to them that his ride wouldn't be there for atleast 10 more minutes. They told him that's too bad and he needed to leave. If you want a better place to take your kids go to the sunrise campus. I'm beyond angry with those people! Who makes a newborn stay outside in freezing weather? They should loose their medical license!

This one star is directly towards the urgent care woodcreek front staff. A women with short red hair working on Friday Sept 10th, was so unprofessional, and I am baffled to why she would want to even work in a pediatric setting. Her condescending, snarky, absolutely non helpful attitude was appalling. If I didn't have my SICK 6 year old daughter with me I might not have been AS upset.

But that fact she could so easily act like that in regards to my daughter's appt and health is beyond frustrating. I will be writing a formal complaint to woodcreek. It takes A LOT for me to lose my cool, especially infront of my daughter, but this was warranted. Losing my cool as in throwing my hands up and saying we would go somewhere else where we are treated with respect and dignity and walking out.

I honestly could not wait to get home to do my review. first off i would like to say Dr. Cameron is a good doctor, truthfully the ONLY reason i continued to bring my kids here. however after today they will not be seeing my kids anymore. both of my kids have been having joint visits since their first time meeting her. they would schedule them 15 minutes apart and they would be addressed at the same time. last saturday my son was seen at the ER and i was told to follow up with his pcp. which worked out fine because they both had an appointment scheduled today. the first appointment was scheduled for 10:15, i arrive roughly 20 minutes early. during the screening process i notified them that both of my kids had a cough, which was NOT covid related because they had been tested and results were negative. MULTIPLE times. i was told that was fine and to just notify the receptionist, which i did upon checking them in. i was told "ok, you've been checked in, just go have a seat" 10:15 rolls around, my child's name wasn't called. 10:40 rolls around and still nothing. at this point both my kids are getting antsy. i was preparing to go ask why the long wait? families that came in AFTER me were getting called and me and my 2 toddlers are just sitting here watching fish in the tank. they finally call me at the front to tell me that they could NOT see me because my kids had a cough. excuse me? i notified you of that upon checking them in. i understand policies and procedures just as well as they do, so if you KNEW i was going to get turned away i should've been notified of that from the beginning! not nearly an hour later after we've been sitting patiently! my kids have a cough and i have no clue why, i'm not a doctor. hence the reason i brought them to see THEIR DOCTOR! i left extremely upset because i could've gone to work, i could've avoided that 30 minute drive with my kids. so many things could have been avoided. i eventually left and drove my kids to the ER so they could be examined (especially my son due to his recent hospital visit) even the ER doctors could not understand why i was denied treatment because of a cough, the doctor himself said every cough does not relate to covid. i shouldn't of had to drive them to the emergency room for their wellness checkups. i didn't even get a chance to show their MULTIPLE, NEGATIVE covid results because i was continuously being told "well they're coughing" no duh? that's part of the reason on why i'm trying to see their doctor. wood creek pediatrics allowed me to sit for nearly an hour before i was turned away. extremely unprofessional and hurtful. my kids deserve medical treatment just like everyone else's. honestly if i was turned away at the screening table from the beginning i wouldn't have left so angry and this review wouldn't even be happening.

Honestly we loved this place when Dr. Joosten was here but since his departure it's gone into the ground. I ignored the issues with front desk while he was here but since his departure it's gotten worse. As a dad I felt that they wanted to avoid talking to me at all costs always calling my wife about issues when we asked them to contact me with pressing issues.

The current issues with the large data breach was the deal breaker along with receiving many other's information in my mail that never lived at my house or owned in the past. If you care about your information and the safety of your kids information please go elsewhere the front desk has no concern either laughed at the matter and hung up. I hope I can save someone else from going here it's just not the same as it used to be.

My daughter was supposed to be in just for a weight check because they didnt have anything available at the sunrise location. Well they made her do a full appointment even though she just had one 2 days ago. They refused to listen to me and didn't even look at her weight or anything from the appointment before and tried telling me I wasn't feeding my daughter enough when she had actually gained weight in the 2 days like she was supposed to. Then made her do another heel poke and took blood when she didn't need it.

So my first call in to this I spoke with dee she was very rude. Because this place is so close to my home and all our friends use them for their kids we tried again. Our next attempt to get our kids here went well. The doctors are nice and knowledgeable they listen to my concerns. Scheduling is reasonable. If I had one complaint It would be that ever appointment I end up waiting almost a hour passed my appointment time to actually see a doctor, I have toddlers so this is extra difficult. The ladies at the front are always nice and professional I have never had any issues with anyone at the clinic.

Zero stars isn't an option but 0/5. I have been a patient at wood creek since I was a baby and my son is a patient there as well. Today I scheduled a COVID test to be done because I was exposed, but I was turned away because my 4 year old son was with me. I'm a single mother and I do not have anyone to watch my child. I explained this to them and they cancelled my appointment. I asked for other resources and they didn't tell me anything they just closed the door.

My 10 year old daughter has gone here for years and now we have a new baby 1 month old. We have had nothing but problems with this location. Customer service at the front desk and over the phone. Billing problems. THEM canceling appointments on US last minute after we already made the drive. Writing different appointment times on reminder cards than typing in computer. I could go on and on. Very disappointed. Now I have to scramble to find them both a new doctor, worst possible timing with a newborn.

Been bringing my son here since he was born. For everything all his immunizations Even got his circumcision done here. Brought him in again yesterday thought it was a teeth issue when i called and even over the phone they told me i was wrong and bring him in. In less than 24hrs after our appt hes eating and sleeping and not hurting anymore. Nothing makes me happier than him being happy.

Thanks again for helping him feel like himself. I only wish i brought him in sooner. There was even a problem with my insurance when i arrived and they helped me get thru it without a bunch of paperwork or waiting for hours on approval. Was on very quick and home making my son feel better in no time. Highly recommend. Great staff very clean very comfortable. Usually right in and out.

I was a walk in on a Sunday afternoon. The office staff were friendly and efficient. The registration process was quick and easy. The waiting room was clean and gorgeous! I didn't get to enjoy the waiting room for long. Within 5 minutes, I was escorted to a room. The room was clean and smelled of disinfectant. The nurse was friendly and compassionate.

She was easy to talk to and listened attentively. The wait time in the room was not long at all. Dr. Coleman was amazing! He was very at ease which put me at ease. He was easy to talk to and had a wonderful sense of humor! He let me know what was wrong, how to fix it, and how to prevent it. He warned me when the lidocaine shot in my toe would hurt and he empathized with me.

He listened to my questions and concerns and answered everything. He gave me great aftercare information and follow up plans. I was very impressed! It was refreshing to leave an urgent care feeling good and actually enjoying the visit! I can't thank the staff enough for making me feel special and valued. I don't enjoy medical emergencies but when I have my next one, I will definitely go back!

The office was impressive and spacious, and the staff were friendly and easy to connect with. Despite the front desk having some technical issues when we arrived, we were checked in fairly quickly. Our daughter loved the high energy nurse, who did a great job administering her shots. Dr. Kierum then came in and introduced himself, and explained why he likes to have shots done first instead of last, despite this not being the norm.

He said it gets the not-so-fun part out of the way, and lets him focus on the child for the rest of the time. That makes sense, but I also appreciate it for a different reason. This way, the doctor doesn't avoid any of the aftermath from the shots. He has to weather the fallout while also trying to build a relationship. That shows me he's committed to his patients.

On the way out, we set up our daughter's next appointment quickly and easily. My only wish is that this facility was part of the MyChart system, since we already have accounts and records in MyChart. But that's a minor inconvenience considering how lucky we are to have this facility so close to home!

I went there in crisis. I explained everything to the MA and the doc. What I was going through could have been deadly. When the doc walked in he listened to my story and said he couldn't help me because he'd lose his license. Little did he know I'm an RN and it takes something terrible to even question a doctor's license. He flat out lied to me and left me in a state that could cause seizures and death.

What he should have done was called my psych to ask what to do. But that would be too much work. I should file a complaint with DOH for negligence, which I probably will. I've spoken to two doctors since about this and they said he lied and that it was "BS" what he told me. Shame on that doctor for refusing to help me. Expect an investigation from the DOH. I give it one star because the ancillary staff are wonderful.

I have been in the clinic for 2 hours. 1 in the waiting room and 1 in the exam room and have yet to see a doctor. All I need is antibiotics for an ear infection. There were only 3 patients ahead of me when I arrived, so there is no excuse for the wait time. At this point the pharmacy will be closed before I can get my prescription anyway. You can also hear every word that patients say in adjacent rooms, so patient confidentiality is not a thing.

Both of my toddlers have seen Dr. Jimeno since birth. She's always kind and thorough. She is well informed on the topics that come up. She always tells it like it is & we love her for it!

I sing Woodcreek's praises to all my mommy friends. I cannot recommend your practice enough. My daughter has received the type of care any parent would hope for. From complex to minor ailments Woodcreek has been such a good advocate. We are so thankful to have found Woodcreek and will continue to take our daughter and any future kids here. The office staff is great.

I have been to the convenience care a few times and I've never had to wait. When I had an issue with my daughters GI care team this week I knew I could trust Woodcreek to help me advocate for her. We went to convenience care and not only did we leave with a solution but I felt much more confident in the plan, as well as, my ability to navigate that care. You can tell how much y'all care about what you do, the families and patients.

I love the staff here! I would give 5+ stars for all the doctors, except for Dr. Jimeno. She comes across rude and even made a political comment during my son's exam. I didn't appreciate it or think that was appropriate. All others are wonderful!

I will be transferring my daughter to another doctor. Dr. Jimeno is a very rude and condescending woman. Unless you want a doctor who does not remember your child's chart, forgets she even referred your child to specialty services and then talks to you like your a stupid person then avoid her. She is nice to her patients but talks to parents like their stupid.

My daughter only had a wellness exam and a referral request renewal today. I had to bite my tongue to avoid making a scene. The many times my daughter had visits with Dr. Jimeno she has always been rude or talked about herself. Today was the final straw.

My 7 year old son broke his toes, it only took six hours to be seen and diagnosed. We waited in the waiting room for two hours to be seen for referral paperwork to get X-rays. I was told once X-rays where done that it would take an hour to get a phone call for results so I waited in the parking lot for an hour in a half. I never got a call so I popped into the office, it took another hour in a half to be seen by the doctor to finally get the results.

It took so long that by that time we could not get the walking boot he needs to even be able to walk. I would recommend just going to the hospital. When we got there there where only three other people there, others walked in and left before we where even called back to a room. My child is one of the regular patients and we called to get an appointment but they told us that we did not need a appointment but to just come in.

The majority of the others where walk ins as well. So frustrating all while my kid is crying especially after we where seen by the doctor who squeezed the hell out of his foot and made it worst by aggravating it.

I'm very disappointed in how my family was treated. I really feel like the front desk reception lady is racist. I had a 12:30 apt and was never called. My husband was upset so we got up and left after waiting 45mins + every family that came in after us was immediately called. I've never experienced this here and was quite surprised. I will be finding my daughters another doc office. Just be aware of those receptionist

I had devyn Cameron for both my kiddos. With my first she was alright. Just very demanding and pushy. more telling me what to do with my kids instead of giving opinions and suggestions. same with my second baby. When my son was born literally since birth he has had green, yellow, sticky and wet goup in his eyes extremely bad. I know some goup is okay and it will go away.

My son is three months old and she told me to give it a YEAR for it to clear up and ' put breast milk in his eyes ' () so I switched Doctors because she didn't take my concern seriously when I knew something was wrong. I went to dr Hernandez and he unfortunately said the same thing. Wasn't concerned or anything. But I still was, I mean he could hardly open his eyes because it was so bad.

I decided to completely change places. I took him to Lakewood Pediatrics to see Dr Tan and when he saw his eyes and after I showed him pictures he immediately said they are infected, when there is green, yellow, sticky and wet goup that indicates infection ' they are from his tear ducts being clogged and so he immediately prescribed me eye drops to clear the infection and if he doesn't clear within 4-5 days he wants to see him again and if his tear ducts to not unclog he will need to have surgery eventually. I no longer be going to woodcreek.

I absolutely love our physician. The only reason we don't leave is because of him. The front office staff here is so disrespectful and downright rude. I understand you may not love the job that you do but at the very least put a smile on and fake it. It's extremely disappointing as a long time patient to not want to continue to see a physician because of the office staff.

I actually like the doctors who work there, unfortunately the rest of it is so horrible (front office, wait times, patient account reps, etc.) that I will never recommend them to anyone every again.

They were my doctor as a child, and as an adult I now wanted to take my daughter there however I will not be doing so because these people care more about the verification of getting their dime then the health of my child. I waited on the phone for 30 minutes after telling the rude unhelpful receptionist that my daughters Healthcare was active but wouldn't show up for 24 hours due to just being reactivated today.

She then told me that she had no proof my insurance would show as active so she could not help me. I explained to her how crucial it was that I get in today. Even if I had to use the urgent care today. I then gave her the number to the Healthcare authority and she let me sit on the phone for 20-30 minutes so she could verify that the insurance would show as active so she would see my daughter under the impression that her making the appointment was riding on the healthcare authority validating my information.

The Healthcare authority told her the same thing I told her and verified my story. She then gets back on the phone with me and tells me after all that once again that she won't make an appointment for my daughter until it shows as active in the system. This makes me absolutely sick. I will not be taking my daughter to this thoughtless place that cares more about verification they will see their money than the health of their patients. Talk about only caring about your business. I will never recommend them again and I unfortunately have many times.

We have been going here since we moved to Puyallup. It has not been a good two years with this doctors office. But today I have had enough of this group! My daughter has come in contact with a blood born disease. After talking with four Nurse over the last three days the doctor has informed me "That he is to busy to concern himself with see my daughter.

All though it is concerning that her wound was taken care of by an infected person. I just don't have the time." Then the nurse continued to say that my best hope would be going down to the health department to get her tested. That is the kind of care you will find with this practice. I hope that no one else will ever be told this in their entire life by your doctor.

That your 8 year old daughter is not important enough. Over the last two years I have experience the desire for making money and not supporting the needs of your patients. This one topped the cake.

We brought my son to this office from the moment he was born. The doctors are nice, once you actually get to see them. The wait is always very long and it is hard to schedule an appointment when my baby gets sick. When my one year old had Bronchitis and was on the borderline to having pneumonia instead of getting us in to see our doctor, we had to sit for hours and wait for three days in a row at the convenience care. That was not the only bad experience, but it was the final straw. We ended switching to a different pediatrician and are much happier now.

Dr. Hernandez is caring, thorough, and takes time to address all our questions. The rest of the staff is pleasant and helpful. We feel like our son is definitely in good hands with this office.
