Yubadocs is an Urgent Care Center that treats both walk-in and appointment-based patients for minor emergencies, illnesses and other common medical requirements. We are the premiere Urgent Care Center for Nevada City, Grass Valley, and western Nevada County. Urgent Care is a specialty devoted to treating acute illnesses and injuries which are not life-threatening and do not require hospitalization.
Services
To boost our recruiting efforts, we are now offering a finder's fee of $50 to anyone who refers someone to us that we hire. If the new hire stays with us for 6 months, the finder will get another $150. We are seeking an LVN with IV certification. We see patients with a wide variety of problems, including acute illnesses, lacerations, fractures & sprains, Workers' Compensation injuries and care, physicals. We have X-ray, ECG, spirometry, and CLIA waived labs on-site. We use electronic medical records, so computer literacy is a must!
Urgent Care Medicine is a specialty devoted to treating acute illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening and do not require hospitalization. Workers' Compensation is a system that covers medical expenses and lost wages of employees who are injured at work. Nearly all employers in the state of California are required to purchase workers' comp insurance for their business. If you are a business, Yubadocs would be happy to treat your injured workers, either through the workers comp system or, when appropriate, as first aid.

Don't go here unless you want to waste a day! I sat in the lobby for 2 hours and then brought back into a medical room where I waited another hour! Still nobody showed up so I walked out because I only needed a simple shot. They will waste your time and try and take your money.buyer beware! Brian

Staff is friendly but service is beyond awful. Wait periods are insane and they don't give you an estimate on time. There just have to be more doctors who could work there?! So frustrating to have to go there. Very dehumanizing experience, as so much of our health care system treats us. No considerations for anyones time.

I was told to wait in car for an hour for an upset stomach which I had for 2. 1/2 weeks. Then once called into room they took urine sample but no vitals were taken. The Dr checked my lungs and listened to my stomach. He said he was going to order lab work and stool sample. I asked him if I needed to pick up stool kit there. Dr said he was going to inquire because he was not sure.

He left my room and never returned. After an hour of waiting I came out and asked if I was done. They said they were going to prepare my discharge paperwork. I signed a paper at check out and was not given further info nor paperwork. I called the following day to get follow up info on where to go for testing and urine results. They said they sent an order to Quest for blood work and to pick up stool kit. Went to Quest the two days later and waited for almost two hours just to find out Yuba docs never sent in request for tests.

I called Yubadocs while at Quest to see if they could fax in my bloodwork. They told me that I should have received that order at checkout which I did not. So I left Quest without bloodwork and was really frustrated. Yuba docs cmdoes not know what they are doing. But they sure know how to waste your time. Don't go to Yuba docs unless you want a headache and to be treated like you have covid19 if you have any symptoms of illness. They just waste your time and make you feel like a criminal for being sick.

Very kind and attentive staff. Visited with 7m old for peanut allergy reaction and again for my own back strain. Both times received good care. Wait and visits were around 1.5-2 hrs both times, but volume is high. Staff stayed calm and caring.

They are horrible one of the doctors there is very very, rude and I don't appreciate how she treat me and some of the office staff are really rude to. Dr. Harris is not very nice lady she is very rude in how she takes care of patients she does not care and she does not even listen to you and she makes no since at all when she is talking to you.

She is very mumbly when she talks to you too and she talks down to people who have a learning disabilities and I don't like that at all. I will never come back to this place to have treatment. I will always go to Western Sierra Medical Group. They are really nice over there and plus they have an urgent care unit there and they are open 7 days a week there and also they are much nicer over there.

Make sure you eat and use the restroom before coming here. Be prepared to wait 2+ hrs for urgent care. People will come in way after you and all get called before you. When you ask why, they say "oh work comp takes priority". Eventually, when you're the last one in the waiting room, you'll be called back. You get to wait some more for a doctor to actually see you. Unfortunately, this is the only urgent care in town, so there's nothing to be done but wait or drive to Auburn/Roseville instead.

Way to over priced! I called in first to confirm pricing and some how it changed while I drove. Then then said they forgot to say the whole charge. Double the cost! The doctor was nice but the front desk staff are not attentive or competent at their jobs Update: when I asked for an itemised receipt after paying it showed that they miss charged me. Only by $8 but what the hell! It still cost more than double what they first said on the phone. This just shows there system is not accurate.

I had to go to Yubadocks in Grass Valley and was thoroughly satisfied with the service and quick attention I received. I like Dr Hicks. She was great and answered all my questions.

I went in for a persistent headache and wound up being interrogated by Dr. Harris. She really could use some improvement with her social skills and abrasive bedside manner. She did seem knowledgeable, maybe just really stressed out. I have been to yuba docs many times over the past 10-years, but it is very doubtful I will return if I know she is on duty.

Think of this place like DMV for wait time. Even with a scheduled appointment had to wait nearly 2hrs just to be moved into a room. Where you guessed it, you have another wait time just to talk to the Doctor or nurse practitioner.

The staff was great and the wait wasn't too long. I will say that the doctor who saw me was a bit. rude? For lack of a better word. They could have been having a bad day or just stressed (as we all are during crazy covid times) but the bedside manner was lacking for sure.

5 star for doctors. zero for billing. It has been 4 months since my covid 19 vaccination and I'm still receiving a bill for service. Multiple calls to their billing department. Each time the story changes to why I'm still getting a bill. Most recently "my account was updated yesterday. Please continue to wait."

I will NEVER go to Yuba Docs again! When it takes over 11/2 years to get a refund for an overpayment it's ridiculous! I called 16x, over that year and half, 6 of those, left messages on the office managers telephone, (I was told that she doesn't come in the office and works from home), and not one call back from her or anyone else. I left messages for the rest of the calls with office staff.

I am not sarcastic because I realize you can get more results with honey than with vinegar, but my patience was definitely tried. The Dr. was wonderful, but the new nurse there was a total b****.

I rolled my ankle last night and showed up this morning. They were polite, friendly, and efficient. They did x-rays and identified a break and treated it in a little over an hour. If you aren't a local, you should know that multiple navigation apps take you to the wrong place. It's very near the Dutch Bros. Coffee in Grass Valley.

As a past employee, I have to say that the business as a whole sucks. I know that they don't treat the present employees very well and their past employees even worse. I still haven't received my tax records from last year. I am at least 4 other employees still haven't received their W2's either. Still getting the run around with no answers. Very poorly run!

2.5 hours of wait time just to be told my iud could be embedded in my uterus wall but the doctor "doesn't feel" like doing an ultrasound to check. Felt rushed, rude doctors but the front desk Staff was friendly.

Went to Yubadocs after being sick for a week. Front office was very friendly, explained process for COVID screening. Communication was quick and efficient with the MA/clinical assistant and the doctor. After being screened (negative result), I was able to go in and be seen by Dr. Hicks. He was friendly and took the time to do an exam and explain his findings.

He reviewed the medications he prescribed and they quickly faxed them to my pharmacy. Overall I felt everyone was very friendly and very professional, which means a lot during times like this. I appreciate their help and their efficiency and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

I was having ear infection pain and was unable to see my regular doctor on a Saturday. I called a few clinics in Roseville and Auburn and here in Grass Valley, they either were closed or unable to see me because my symptoms were also possibly due to COVID-19 and these places were out of Covid tests. So I called Yuba Docs, they said, sure we can get you in, such a relief, as my next option was the ER, which is expensive and slow moving.

Everyone I came into contact with was very nice and professional. I did wait for about 2 hours to see a doctor, but they didn't charge me anything, apparently because I was tested for Covid, I wasn't going to question it. I was able to get the much needed antibiotics to take care of my ear infection, and my wallet isn't hurting for it. Thank you so much Yuba Docs!

If your wife is quite ill and not quite needing a trip into the ER, stay as far away from this ph___ed up place you can. It will be hard to tell you in a short review how incredibly pis__ed we are right now. We showed up at Yuba Dicks at or just before 3:15 in the afternoon. We signed in, gave my wife's cell phone number, pointed to our car right in front of YUBA DICKs front door and waited for two hours. TWO HOURS!

Finally we gave up as my wife was feeling much worse. I took her home, got her warm and taken care of and then checked our messages. Guess who called at 3:18, used the wrong number, did not look across from their front door where the server had noted that we were parked. Now home and could not be more angry with this idiot operation. Like every other medical batch of nin-com-poops, they now hide behind their stupid "phone wall" to keep any and everybody out.

This is a MEDICAL SERVICE COMPANY. I thoght, but no, it is another money gubbing bunch of assh___s who truly care less about a sick patient and much more about shuffling them through and calling the wrong god damned number. Holy S__t, how stupid and ill mannered can you get. STAY AWAY!"

I went for covid testing back in Jan. I received a bill after my visit, that was paid in March. Yuba docs claims the bill was not paid and it has been impossible to correspond with them via phone or email. I've submitted my paid statement, insurance statements and HSA statements - not one has ever returned my calls or emails, and they sent the bill to collections even though it's paid in full.

Now I'm dealing with collections - there is lack or organization and messy billing. Extremely unhappy with lack of communication and ability to resolve a simple billing issue.

The front Staff act's like premature kindergartners, they don't know how to facilitate appointments. It's not 1st come it's who they chose to be seen 1st by the Doctor. I'm here only for Physical should take 30 minutes I waited two hours 1st before being seen by Physician which took 15 minutes to complete his Examination. They need a Mature individual that can perform daily tasks and oversee the adolescent individual's working there, this by far my worst experience, no wonder my blood pressure was 193/98 had me uptight and wound. And I have to return in two day's for TB check I was told should only take 5 minutes. I'm holding them to their comments.

I had an appointment for a Covid booster. I waited almost 2 hours to get my vaccine. They kept telling me I was next, Then 3 more people would go in. I should have picked CVS instead.

Horrible I had a UTI Stupid doctor gave me a three day dose Of antibiotics after a week I'm still having the symptoms I called them back and they tell me I have to go to my primary care doctor ridiculous she gave me a freaking seven Day dose. Don't waste your time there

We are exceptionally fortunate to have this urgent care facility in our community. As such, it is a refreshing alternative to the hospital emergency room. I have read reviews from those who do not seem to appreciate this concept. Over many years, each time we have visited the clinic we have been treated professionally and fairly. If we had to wait, we understood it was because someone was in more need of urgent care than we. Many thanks to Roger, Linda and staff for serving all of us with such compassion and concern.

I am posting the email I wrote them regarding my issue. Mr. Hicks, I left a message with your office to have you call me regarding your business not refunding my money or returning any of my calls or answering my emails. I have to say I am totally perplexed as to why? On April 13th I made a payment of which I thought was to Xfinity but instead I clicked on YubaDocs and paid my monthly bill of $70.20.

When Xfinity told me they had not received payment I was able to see quickly what mistake I had made. I called your office and spoke to a man who said he would refund my money. That has never happened and although I have continued to make repeated calls, leaving messages with your billing department, and now yourself, and sending numerous emails regarding the matter, no one has bothered to contact me, return a call, or an email.

Being a senior citizen I am now wondering what kind of ethics you have and what other things you might be doing to people or insurance agencies/medicare/medical since you refuse to refund a small amount of $70.20 and refused to speak to me? What kind of a person or company does that? I would have been happy to pay a service charge for your trouble!

I am now making a complaint and asking the AMA, Attorney General of CA, Medicare, and making a Facebook post outlining what you have done, and asking that you be evaluated for other nefarious actions you may be doing. It makes no sense to not refund me. It speaks to who you are and how you run your business. I have 4600 followers on my Facebook page in Nevada County.

I am really concerned for the community and especially want senior citizens to know what I have experienced and to be careful when dealing with you and your business. Apparently, you are keeping my $70.20 and if it if is that important to you, I guess this is the way it will be.

Wish I could give 0 stars the Physicians assistant I saw with my son today was a joke my son was sick the other day and I needed to get a covid test to make sure it wasn't covid we got the rapid covid test done in Roseville at arc point labs they are awesome but the school wouldn't accept it because they claim that it is too inaccurate little background I just had hand surgery and what test did the orthopedic surgeon use to determine if I had covid yeah the rapid test.

What test does auburn faith hospital use to determine if you have covid upon admission the rapid test. So I went to yuba docs to get a school note with my son's negative test results and what did they do jack cost me $20 plus my time for some PA to give me the run around never going back and I suggest that if you need anything done right go to a real doctor.

In my past experiences with yuba docs they have been ok at best and when they sewed my leg up after a chainsaw accident they did a meh job and didn't give me enough stitches to keep me from having a nasty looking scar. So no I will not go back and I suggest anywhere else
