Compassionate Hospice and Palliative Care Services
Klamath Hospice has dedicated itself to improving end-of-life experiences since 1982. Founded by community volunteers, we remain the only nonprofit hospice in Klamath Falls and a United Way agency. Our interdisciplinary team provides compassionate care for life-limiting illnesses while addressing emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Certified by Medicare and affiliated with national and state hospice organizations, we serve Klamath County and Northern California communities including Tulelake, Dorris, and Macdoel.

Our services extend beyond direct patient care through grief support programs, youth camps, and community-funded thrift stores that sustain our mission. With 24/7 availability and a focus on patient autonomy, we maintain dignity through personalized care plans developed collaboratively with patients and families. Our history of community support since 1979 reflects our commitment to compassionate end-of-life care.

Palliative Care
Palliative care services offer symptom relief for serious illnesses at any treatment stage. Our team provides home visits, medication management, and coordination with primary physicians. This care works alongside curative treatments while addressing patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Grief Support
Our grief support programs include individual counseling, support groups, and specialized workshops. Services help individuals process loss through structured sessions led by experienced counselors. We offer specific programs for different types of loss including suicide, pregnancy loss, and pet loss.
Youth Grief Camps
Camp Evergreen and Camp Sapling provide specialized grief support for children aged 5-17. These camps create safe spaces for youth to process loss through age-appropriate activities and peer interaction. Professional counselors guide participants through understanding and coping with their grief experiences.
