Our staff takes great pride in staying up to date and aware of all the current and ongoing changes in the pediatric field. Dr. William Martin is a graduate of Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his residency in Greenville, SC. He is a 30 year survivor of cancer and was inspired to enter medicine as a result.

For over 30 years, Beaufort Pediatrics has strived to play a powerful role in strengthening our community by being very involved in programs and sponsorships that provide positive values for our area's children and their families.

Considering what babies go through during the birth process, they hold up amazingly well. Most babies have an initial wake period that lasts about an hour, followed by a period of four to six hours during which they sleep. Before discharge, your infant will have a newborn metabolic screen drawn to check for a variety of potential congenital disorders.

At Beaufort Pediatrics, we strongly believe in routine well child visits throughout infancy and childhood. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for administration of childhood immunizations and checkups. Vaccinations are critically important for the health and safety of your baby and for those who could potentially expose your child to dangerous illnesses. They are required for school and day care.

The evaluation package includes forms the doctor will use during your visit to determine the best course of action for your child. The Tools Packets are for your home use. These are meant to help with the adjustments and structure that your child may benefit from.
