Georgia Kidney Associates is not impacted by the WellStar/United Healthcare contract negotiations. We are and will continue to be in network with United Healthcare and all of its products. Our newest location at Paulding Hospital is open for Wednesday appointments with Ashvin Kamath MD and Hema Sheelvanth MD The office located at 144 Bill Caruth Parkway, Suite 1400 Hiram, GA 30141 can be accessed through the main entrance of Paulding Hospital. Our medical practice specializes in nephrology (diseases of the kidney) and hypertension (high blood pressure).

Our Marietta office is located in the KENNESTONE PHYSICIANS' CENTER at 55 WHITCHER STREET next to KENNESTONE HOSPITAL. We are in Suite #460. If possible, park on the BLUE level of the parking garage (Level P-5). This will put you on the entrance level to our building. If you park on another level, you must take the parking garage elevators to the BLUE/P-5 level to enter our building. Once you enter our building, you will turn left. Go through the double doors and continue to the elevators. Take the elevators to the 4th floor.

Our Woodstock Office is located in the South Cherokee Medical Center at 120 Stonebridge Parkway, Suite #410 in Woodstock. New patients, who have not downloaded and completed the New Patient Packet located under the patient center tab on this webiste, should arrive 30 minutes prior to their appointment to allow adequate time to process the paperwork. If your insurance requires a co-payment, we do collect your co-payment at the time of your visit. We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

We have attempted to provide flexible office hours to accommodate patient needs and to minimize waiting times. Because of our commitment to patients in the hospital, individual physician hours in the office vary. There is someone in the office to answer telephone calls from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays.
