Services
MRI
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of internal organs and tissues. This non-invasive technique excels at diagnosing musculoskeletal disorders, brain conditions, and vascular issues without radiation exposure. Patients benefit from precise diagnostic capabilities for cancer, heart disease, and neurological conditions.
CT
Computed Tomography (CT) combines X-rays with computer technology to produce cross-sectional body images. This service detects lung abnormalities, bone fractures, and internal injuries while providing critical data for cancer staging and treatment planning. The rapid imaging process accommodates emergency diagnostic needs.
PET
Positron Emission Tomography (PET) visualizes metabolic processes to detect cancer, neurological disorders, and cardiovascular disease. Combined PET/CT scans offer fused imaging that enhances diagnostic accuracy for tumor localization and treatment monitoring. This metabolic imaging complements traditional anatomical imaging methods.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound imaging employs high-frequency sound waves for real-time visualization of soft tissues and blood flow. This radiation-free modality monitors fetal development, evaluates abdominal organs, and guides minimally invasive procedures. Portable applications support point-of-care diagnostics across multiple specialties.
Women's Imaging
Specialized women's imaging services include 3D mammography, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsies. Our comprehensive approach emphasizes early cancer detection with same-day diagnostic results and advanced screening technologies. Board-certified specialists provide dedicated care for all breast health concerns.
Questions
How long do imaging exams typically take?
Exam durations vary: MRI (15-45 min), CT (30-60 min), X-ray (5-30 min). Specialized procedures like PET/CT require 1.5-2 hours for complete imaging sessions.
What preparation is required for imaging tests?
Preparation varies: MRI requires metal removal, CT may need fasting, and ultrasound could require a full bladder. Specific instructions are provided when scheduling each exam.
How are imaging results communicated?
Board-certified radiologists interpret images and send detailed reports to referring physicians within 24-48 hours for all diagnostic studies.
Are imaging services covered by insurance?
Most private insurers and Medicare cover medically necessary imaging. Our staff verifies benefits and assists with payment plans when coverage limitations exist.
Can patients schedule exams directly?
Imaging requires physician referral. Healthcare providers coordinate scheduling with our center after obtaining necessary medical orders and patient information.
What safety measures are in place for imaging?
We follow strict safety protocols: radiation dose optimization, contrast allergy screening, and equipment safety checks. Technologists provide specific safety instructions for each procedure.

Like other people on here my issue is with their billing. After a MRI procedure, apparently I owed $11. 4 months after the procedure I receive our first notice of the $11 which is actually their "last notice" and they are preparing to send to collections. I paid immediately that day. 1 week later I get a Collections Notice from Credit Collections Bureau. I call Dakota and they informed me they had sent 2 prior notices which is false we never received those.
They then said that they had actually sent my account to collections a week or two prior to sending out my "final notice." Absolutely ridiculous. The lady said I could disregard the Collections Notice since I had paid, but I don't trust anything they are telling me and waiting to hear back from the Collections agency to see if that is true. Billing side is a joke and we will avoid this place as much as we can in the future. We have worked hard for good credit and to have a business threaten that through their poor business practices is very frustrating.

I had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound March 30th. Christen was my tech and was with me when Dr. Baxter told me he wanted to do a biopsy. She was so caring and comforting to me as I broke down. I appreciated her so much, she helped me get through it.

When I made the appointment for my mammogram, I told the lady that due to severe claustrophobia I was unable to keep my mouth and nose covered with a mask. She told me that would be "just fine. They can do the exam without my wearing a mask." When I drove all the way there this afternoon, I was turned away because they wouldn't do my scan without me wearing a mask. I understand that during this pandemic we need to keep each other safe. I'm not upset that they didn't let me in without a mask. I'm upset that I was told when I scheduled the appointment I didn't have to wear a mask.

The local billing department does not return calls and the when you actually get a hold of them after multiple calls, the customer service you receive is exremely rude. Would not recommend anyone and will not use their facility if there is any options at town. Only positive experience is with nurses, they were very nice.
